  • BLACKFEET Ash is the strongest material on the field. Reconnect with your own Native American greatness and passion for the sport. Our playable attack shaft weighs between 9.0 and 9.4 ozs, d poles between 1.20 and 1.29 lbs. These are our Medium Weights; some weight but with enormous strength. Just 2 2.5 ozs more than a very light alloy (attack) shaft.
These throwback shafts will not dent or bend. You will find these combined with many a head at the master's tournaments and with coaches playing in their free time. We would rate Blackfeet's quality and craftsmanship as top of the line. They are the only wooden shaft manufacturer we will carry because of their dedication to quality materials and finish.

Review 3/5 Woody Pole - 5/05/15 reply

I give it a 3 out of 5. I bought this stick near the end of my season and it saw maybe 4 games (3 weeks) total before I snapped it right in half. I play D3 and would say this pole hurts to be hit with but not necessarily the strongest d pole in the market.

Will it flex at all when checking people with the d pole?
(no subject) - 5/05/15 reply

yes, it will flex a lot. Probably 85 Flex on it if it was a hockey stick.

Exceptionaly strong without much added weight. Feels just right, wood buttend built in too.
(no subject) - 9/27/11 reply

Yes, an exterior finish.
good? - 7/19/11 reply

strong, yes, but is it light?
(no subject) - 9/27/11 reply

Some are light, some are not. BLACKFEET now supplies each shaft weight burned into wood at buttend.

(no subject) - 4/14/11 reply

i don't know about this one but not bam shaft. a kid on my team snapped his in half and the color bleeds off onto your gloves and discolors them
Blackfeet woody - 3/23/11 reply

Can i fit my STX heads onto it ?
(no subject) - 3/25/11 reply

Any and all heads fit this shaft, it is the same size as any other shaft but a touch more snug, no wobble at all.
wieght - 2/27/11 reply

bros how much does this wiegh??
weight - 3/01/11 reply

Wood varies in weight. My tapered shaft weighs 7 oz. A standard attack shaft in ash will go between 8 to 9 oz.
This shaft - 2/26/11 reply

This shaft is amazing. I've used the same one for two seasons. the balance is great (for me), they NEVER break, and the weight isn't that bad. It's my starter over a Sci-Ti
