Im 13 and i shoot 78 on a good day

my net is really crapped up because of grass stains and i think it is moldy. will it make it weaker if i put it through the washer or wash it in any way????

does this net come with string to string it???

This net is for sale on other lacrosse websites advertising that it comes with the brine quick clip net fastners. Does this lacrosse net come with the quick clips or do I need to order them from another site?

Is there really that much of a difference between the 3.0, the 4.0, and the 6.0 netting.

worth the price because its better than buying a couple cheaper nets, its a really sturdy net but after around like a full year of use it tends to tear at the seams otherwise no random holes in the middle of the net or corners, also my only advice is make sure u string it up really good cuz its annyoing to redo and mine looks like dead butt now and im too lazy to fix it

alright, well I am a high school junior and I shoot in the upper 80's, low 90s......id imagine that a strong 14-15 year old could shoot upper 80s....give him a break

Well even if these youngens can shoot what they say....we have no reason not to believe them....im going to villanova and i was helping my school at this camp and the kid in 7th grade came up and was ripping shots like crazy to the point whr our goalie coulndt see them....

this net rocks. i put it up in my goal at the begining of the summer. (and in arizona it gets to be 109 degrees, animals everywhere, and the big storms)and it withstoop everything whith out even looking like its ben used. no holes from anythihng ether. get this net no madder wat!!

i shoot on my net for a lot every day and i want to know how long it will hold up till it tears and does it come with a rope to attach it to the goal?

i'm not worried about you breaking this net with your 89 mile per hour shots but i still think this is alot for a net.

The shot is totally in the hips..this guy knows whats goin on..but arm strength can still help a bit

It all depends on how the net was taken care of. I live in MI so I know that weather can impact the nets strength. I pretty much brand new net and I shoot on it a lot but with the rain getting to it a lot and a little snow my brother and I tore through this just like a 3 mil. I shoot low 90's and hes hitting 80s and the corners are blown out. Granted thats after us shooting day after day, nobody can rip through it on command

i started out with a 2.5 mm net and i broke it in 2 weeks i've had the 4 mm net for a while and i cant break it.

this is an awesome net. i shoot at 89mph and on somem nets it breaks but not on this one.

At age 13 I shot 87 mph in a fastest shot contest at a local tourney for lacrosse. But, I have been playing lacrosse for a LONG time. It is all about repitition. You just have to get the motion of your shot down and then work on putting some arm into it.

true, i have only been playing lacrosse for 2 years now but i play everyday shootin on a net and i have somewhere around the mid 80's and im 15. when last year i had a 60mph shot. hopefully this is a good net that wont break on a shot.

if u really played lax for a LONG time, u would know shooting is all in the hips, only a little bit has to do with actual arm strength!!

Kid I used to play for Cornell Big Red and now I am in the Mll. Yes you need hip strengh but you nedd superb uperbody strength.

There is no way a 14 year old can shoot 89. You are probably just assuming that. Have you ever been clocked with a radar gun? Some guys in the MLL can't shoot 89. Scott Urik--one of the top scorers in the league only shoots about that. Therefore, you are lying. Not at 14 kid, not at 14.

Got to the MLL website and read an article written by Urick. He says that he only shoots around that and he is one of the top scorers in the league. So STFU and stop talking trash dumbass.

almost have the kids on my team shoot in the 80's and my prorgram has only been around for 5 years and we beat teams like urs that cangt shot in the 80's GO HIGHLANDS LAX

I know all of you have been bashing this kid whose 14 and claims to shoot 89, I'll agree with you that 89 is pushing the envelope a bit far. And I have to agree with the guy who said a shot comes all from the hips, this is something that a learned long before playing lacrosse when I played tennis, always being small i had to become the most efficient player as I good, and the biggest way to do this is to put the torque of your hips along with your body weight into a shot. Ive only played lacrosse for 2 years now, and being 16years old 5'11" 150lbs, I'm in no way the biggest kid on my team, but because I learned how to use my whole body to power a shot, I'm able to reach upper 80's and on the rare good day I've shot 90, but that is once in a blue moon. But the reality, of having time to get your feet set and have a step or two to get good body movemet and reach those speeds in game is very difficult, and thats why often you see the pros shooting and lower speeds, but on the run and across you body to shoot upper 80's is still amazing, and that's why they are pros, and were just the guys in awe watching from the stands.

Dude you are so toally right 89 is pretty damn fast for 14. I'm also 14 and i 've been playin for 4 years and i can shoot 75-80. It is all in the hips. It's mostly technique and a little bit of wrist strength. The Mll guys have been playin for like 20 years. thats why they r amazing and can shoot 80 on the run.

Im 15 and just finished my first year of lacrosse. but even when i just starting you can kind of tell its not all arms i use my shoulder/hips/wrists and i can shoot 70-75 on a good day and not very accuratly im not sayin thats good or anything but i doubt any one here can shot 80's on the run going across thier body. and if they serious can then props.

I have had this net since 7th grade and I am currently a 15 yr old sophmore. My shot is about average, 78-83, and i have put one small hole in it, thats it; not to mention the net was given to me by Drew Thompson who played for virginia, who used it a year before me.

i shoot 78mph and im a 8th grader, and i ripped it 3 times in one week

no 8th grader can rip a hole in this net
