i have a gait ice and i don't know if i should get a clutch or answer. i play middie and sometimes take faceoffs and i am in high school

If you wanted the original answer i would say that but the pro is to stiff for face and the slutch has better ball control for a mid

my friend has the old answer and its really good for faceoffs. it is also good for an offensice position, so the answer pro would be the same just probably not as good for faceofs because of the stifness.

i play lsm and i have the brine answer and i love it b/c it has so much control and it has nice checks

this thing has alot of pinch i cant eve fit a baseball in it. but its super flexy and with hard mesh the pocket dominates!

also im a goalie and im sort of picky on my heads but i like it a lot

not sure but its better than the regular answer here are a few dif reasons:stiff,nice pinch,lots of side wall holes(u can customize it how u want),lightweight and its a nice head

i want to know if it is stiffer than the original answer beacause i know it has a way better pinch, and if dyeing it would screw up the stiffness

get it normaly strung with hard mesh. i tried 6 diamond and it sucks

for a realy good shot get 7 diamond. it also handels well wen cradeling

you definitely get better grip on the ball with 6D and to me there is really no difference in shooting

I'm probably gonna get this head, does it come with that same suck-ish mesh that all brine heads come strung with... my E3 came with some awful mesh

i think all brine heads come with that crappy mesh. i just buy mesh and string it myself so i dont have to worry about that

yeah brine strings theirs with micro mesh its like a soft mesh hybrid i had it just restring your e3 its a good head if u dont mind the weight. evo 2 is a good head too.

i had the original answer and its got so messed up while i played middie... when i bought a new head my answer was bent to one side, it was lipsided.. if the answer pro is a 2nd answer i wouldnt advise getting it and if u do get it dont boil it cuz itll be even worse

It's not just a clone of the first answer. They fixed the problems with the first one and added extra stringing holes. Don't post a review on something you've never personally used.

my friend got it and it was the same as the answer.. he used it 2 games and it was bent outta shape in 2 games

Stop trying to make a point by lying about this head. I had this head for a full season of varsity lacrosse last season and all of my summer tournaments this summer and it is still perfect.

This head is so terrible. Especially for groundballs and faceoffs. Get a proton power.

Its way too pinched and the durability is absolutely TERRIBLE! I had this for one season and about half way through the season and then it got too pinched and became illegal. I would hold it upside down and the ball wouldnt fall out.Im not sure on the answer pro for durability but if its like the answer you may wanna think about something else.

I play long stick middie and some d. How wide is this compared to the xcaliber

I lik this head better for midds but for d pole or lsm the excaliber is prob one of the best because its pretty stiff and wide.

It's only illegal if you're playing in college, or by college rules. Pretty much every head is illegal by the 2010 NCAA rules, except for the brand new ones that are just starting to come out.

ummmm guysss.... i have absolutely NO idea what head to get. im in middle school right now and currently have the mojo. im..ehh mildly happy with it, but it works for me and does me ohkay considering i've only been playing a year or so. but i plan on getting a new head in a year or 2 in highschool and have absolutely NO idea what to get. im stuck between this, the proton power, or the maverik juice. which would you guys suggest. im a midi, always do face offs for my line, and whenever im running up the field after i scoop(oh yeah, and i want something with a nice scoop, not too good at that x3) i tend to have one or 2 guys on me and want something that i can throw with really nice accuracy to a teammate or rip one in nice and subtle directly at the goal, and fast (i have a decent rip shot, if i do say so myself) with good accuracy too. which would you guys suggest?

def def go with the proton power. it has a great pinch for face off and throws and shoots great. only thing is about the face off is make sure the ball dosnt get stuck in the troat because that tends to happen sometimes atfer a while but def get the proton

get an evo 2.0 i have it i like rippin those shots 2 its a lot better for groundballs ashots and all around. i say evo 2.0 or the proton power

get this if you are going to take faceoffs its has better flexiabilty.

the e3 is good for all of that and its stiff for d look at it i like mine except for the weight.

the answer is great too. great head for anyone who plays mid or attack! it is a great head and i recommend this to anyone who is either a begginer mid or attack OR a great attacker or mid in general.

Hard mesh with 3 shooting strings and no v shooter also loosen the sidewall a little.

the Answer pro is such a great head i have it. it throws well shoots great and works for face offs too if you change your mind at midi. its the best head i have. its also very light compared to some of my other heads like the clutch, evo ti, harrow turret, brine asset, franchise, warrior spyne, warrior helix and many more

This head sucks. i have the clutch and wen i tried using this head the ball never stayed in the pocket. it looks pinched but really isnt. do not get thius head

if u dont like how the answer pro is "unpinched" than try just the regular answer, i had it and that was really pinched i had to get rid of it tho because it was too illegal

it is not a very good head for the price. it isnt stiff and when i got mine i had it for less than a month it sucks.

the absolute lightest head around is the Brine Truth, and it should be about $70.

get a regular answer i have i cyber pro and a platuim alloy for my main but i have a answer and a ignite on my back up if u get an answer get a hard mesh the answer is better than the answer pro

a kid on my team has this with a titan pro shaft and he plays d. i picked it up and was playin catch and this head is flexible as hell but it went back everytime. THE STIFFI IS THE BEST ITS LIGHT AND IMPOSSIBLE TO MISS GROUND BALLS IF U GET IN FRONT OF THEM

i like this head very much because it is very easy to string from the sidewalls. i also like the pinch and how it widens in the bac so it wont get stuck i sometimes even put it on my d-pole and i have broken a kids arm from this head

aight i realize that quite a few people have already asked "this or clutch" but no one really gave a good response...ive owned 3 clutches and loved them, i mostly play middie and face off and shoot a lot but i play attack too and it worked really well for me except they all broke right around the bottom holes which is what so many people have problems with. which is why after 2 clutches i switched to the evo 2.0 which i love in every aspect except it wasn't workin for me on faceoffs so i switched back to the clutch after hearing that brine fixed the problem for 2009. but nahhh, 2 weeks later it breaks and i cant tie the bottom string at all, once again. this head looks pretty similar, how does it compare on stiffness and durability? all my heads take a pretty bad beating at the faceoff x, so how bad does it warp? any responses will be helpful thanks fellas

I have an anwser and like it but want something stiffer. my anwser has become worped and now the side wall strings at the base hold the ball in making it illegal. any chance this will happen with the pro?

I don't believe it will be legal in 2010, but I don't know the exact measurements of this head, or of what will make a 2010 legal head.

I posted on this question on the clutch board, but I forgot about this head, and I forgot that the evo pro will make a pretty good high pocket as well.

evo 2.0 is known for being able to get a great high pocket. its also extremely light if that means anything to you

i play the same (left side tho) and i have a regular answer with 6 diamond mesh. just get the regular answer it's sick. and don't listen 2 others it won't bend or break

this or turret i like lots of ball control and offset. i dont care too muc about weight but something light would be kinda nice for a change. and lastly i need something that will last at least a year and a half

the turret is kinda heavy, and much stiffer than this. The answer pro's pinch goes higher up the head than the turret's, but the turret has a much more extreme pinch (especially in the middle).

They aren't much different, but the clutch is more versatile because of it's stiffness. I too owned the answer, loved it, and got a clutch and loved it even more, but I've wondering if I should get this. You won't be dissapointed with the clutch, but wait and see if anyone else has some input before you buy anything.

gget the answer pro i have used both of them and still am using the answer pro both heads are very flexably so if you play middle or attack deff get this head but if you play defense try something stiffer

Well if you just got it u obviousley wont have a pocket yet. Use it and kee working the mesh and youll get it evetually. Pro vs answer=big diff. Pro has a better pinch in my opinion and a stiffer head. Answer is still good to.

butter knife through side wall ball uinder knife then spray wit hair spray let sit for 2 hrs then work pocket so its not as hard as a rock

get the answer because its easyer to string the top holes r better and i have never felt the answer pro but from seeing it it just looks worst

OK, I know this is a good head, but I already own a clutch. I loved the original answer's flexibility, but hated how much mine warped. My question is: do you think it would be worth it to buy this if I loved the original answer, but already own a clutch that I love even more?

this is slightly stiffer than the original and dosnt warp at all. Plus it has the same pinch as ur clutch but with the sick side walls of the answer. It also has great shotspeed and on top of all that its really light. hope that helped.

i have a truth, and i like pretty much everything about it, except it bends really easily. so basically im looking to buy a second stick, and i want something like it, but a bit more rigid. im stuck between this or the voyce, any advice? i play attack and it'd be going on a scandium swizzle

it kind of depends they are pretty different heads. the voyce has a wide catching face but narrows down at the bottom and is very pinched ther. this is just like the clutch. it has a pinch that pretty much stays the same until it gets near the scoop and dramatily widens tis has better ball control and i would go with this. two questions tho is the truth any good besides the fact that it bends? and if and when u get this head can you tell me if it is better than the truth. also if you want a stiff head the clutch has same pinch but is a little stiffer and with that a lil heavier. hope i helped.

the truth is to the voyce as the answer pro is to the clutch. The truth has a very similar shape to the voyce, but it is pretty flexible. However, I have never heard of one breaking, or getting warped very badly, and they are extremely light.

this thing is so good ive never used anyhting like it its way better than evo 2.0

i have the swizzbeat with it and its very light and very god grip but if ur looking 4 sumpin a lil stronger the scandium swizzle looks pritty good.(i cant say for shur cuz i dont actually have it) hope that helps

i have the old axe with the regular answer and it is super light!! my coach was really surprised, and he played for Navy a few years ago. it is really good for shooting and passing ( i play attack and sometimes midfield). get the axe if you can, its a little old but you won't regret it

I would go with the ice it is one of the lightest shafts on the market and its very durable.i have it and its great i would never turn to any other shaft.

it is probably the lightest shaft on the market and i love it, but my friend got one and he plays attack first day of practice got a huge dent in it in the end ice vs. klite d pole > klite wins out

any shaft is fine with any head as long as its light and strong, by the way this head has amazing shot speed great hold and the easiest scoop. soooo light too i love it

get a warrior dolomite, super strong and super light. i believe they work with this head also.

ive had the regular answer for a couple years and its awesome!!!! it has better ratings then the answer pro, plus you get a great head for little money. ive dyed it and restrung it a couple times (i wanted new mesh, nothing was ripping/tearing) yea it warps a little but no permanent damage. its been through a lot and i think its a lot better for its money than the answer pro.

is just a slightly stiffer version and it doesnt warp at all but ur right just get the answer
