  • Brine Clutch
    Full offset
    Optimum ball control
legal for play at the high school and grade school levels.
The Clutch is an All Time favorite among the pro and high school lacrosse elite midfielders. This head has a very narrow face for great ball control. At Lax.com we really like the lower sidewall rail because its shape lets the ball sit in the middle of the head.
There are endless stringing options to dial in maximum customization.

clutch warp - 6/26/12 reply

for the first year you have it, it generally doesn't warp but over time it can warp with a lot of use, more than other heads like super power or an evo.

this or the proton power?
(no subject) - 9/08/12 reply

This or superpower?? and is this head any good for faceoffs?
(no subject) - 2/22/12 reply

is this good for attack?
SOLID HEAD - 2/20/12 reply

The only down side is the shot speed and it isnt even that bad
(no subject) - 3/25/12 reply

this head is not going to slow shot speed idk how a head that is a good weight strung well could possibly slow down a shot at all u tell me!
Cursed - 2/19/12 reply

Will this head get "cursed" easily? I heard the bottom stringing holes break easily.
(no subject) - 2/11/12 reply

is this any good for d-pole.
(no subject) - 3/03/12 reply

No i have this on a dpole and it is horrible
which one - 2/04/12 reply

evo 3 or brine clutch
(no subject) - 1/18/12 reply

they should offer to string heads traditionally
(no subject) - 3/27/12 reply

they do go to custom stringings and add traditional to cart with this in cart....it is just expensive
clutch vs. evo 3 - 1/17/12 reply

i snapped my proton and cant decide between this and the evo 3, which ones better for face offs?
proton power vs. clutch - 1/17/12 reply

Reward points - 9/09/11 reply

How do you use the reward points?
Clutch - 9/08/11 reply

Get this so much better and more pinched if you like that
(no subject) - 9/02/11 reply

i hav a revolver and the nxt head i get will be this or a proton power?
(no subject) - 9/02/11 reply

proton power. i have both
(no subject) - 12/21/11 reply

it depends what kinda player you are if you faceoff get proton cuz its more flexy. if you like to string your own head get the cutch b/c the proton has like no strinign holes and is VERY hard to string
(no subject) - 9/01/11 reply

I have this head and i love it
What to get - 8/28/11 reply

Im a middie and i have a super power but i need a back up and a cant decide between a clutch or clutch 2 any help?
Clutch or clutch2 - 9/08/11 reply

Clutch is more pinched clutch 2 is great for long pole middie
(no subject) - 9/11/11 reply

good with nike sprint shaft - 8/26/11 reply

is tis good for defence - 8/26/11 reply

(no subject) - 9/08/11 reply

proton power - 8/25/11 reply

faster and more accurate shots and lighter. I have both.
Proton - 8/25/11 reply

I have both, they are both good, but I prefer the proton power. It is lighter and because it has a more gradual pinch it allows for faster shots and better accuracy.
GET THIS HEAD! - 8/15/11 reply

this head it unreal. it is easily a 10/10. it is very stiff and durable. it has so many sidewall holes for multiple stringing options. and on top of that it is a very pinched head. i am a middie and have used this for about a year now. i have 5, thats how much i love this head. it is decent for faceoffs. if you want a good face off head check out the clutch x or the cobra x. BUT OVERALL THIS HEAD IS DOPE!
head decision - 8/10/11 reply

get the proton power. im a middie and i used that head this year and loved it.
(no subject) - 8/07/11 reply

best head ever
Head decision - 8/06/11 reply

im a midfielder and i need a new head...i really only go for pinched heads, and im leaning towards a clutch x superlight...if anybody has any recommendations prefferably heads part of the clutch series (but just any good head would work) let me know!!!
(no subject) - 8/07/11 reply

i would either go with the regular clutch or a proton power. i use proton for facing off and clutch for wings. They are both GREAT heads. i love them.
(no subject) - 9/08/11 reply

I recommend the clutch or clutch x super light or clutch x clutch is strongest of clutch series clutch x is great for face-offs but gets warped overtime I dont know about clutch x sl although i have a clutch and love it!!!!!!
question - 8/02/11 reply

im debating between two heads and i need help. should i get this or the krypto pro diamond. Also, whats the difference between a head and a shaft?
(no subject) - 8/02/11 reply

if you dont know the difference between a head and a shaft, you should get a less advanced head. this is for intermediate to advanced players with at least 1-2 years experience. also, ever heard of a search bar?
(no subject) - 8/05/11 reply

is that a joke
(no subject) - 8/06/11 reply

if u seriously don't know the difference between a head and a shaft then your obviously new to the game...so u shouldnt be looking to get a clutch or a diamond...these are for advanced players...i think ur lookin for a $30 whole stick
stupid - 11/12/13 reply

Are you stupid. Ps that's like not knowing the difference between penut butter and jelly
(no subject) - 7/29/11 reply

is the clutch or the evo 3 better
i have two - 7/21/11 reply

i have two of them and i only have two sticks so this is a perfect head and they all crack twice at the bottom but its still perfect even with the cracks
(no subject) - 7/07/11 reply

Good Stick? - 7/07/11 reply

I have a swizzle scandium that i am gonna put this head on when i get it. Would it be a good stick?
(no subject) - 7/06/11 reply

make it an all around pocket like right in the middle
(no subject) - 7/05/11 reply

which is better, this or clutch superlight?
(no subject) - 7/06/11 reply

normal clutch is better i have the clutch and my friend has a superlight there is .2 of an ounce difference thats nothing we weighed them
(no subject) - 7/06/11 reply

POCKET - 7/02/11 reply

where should i put the pocket on this if i play attack so i can get still get good shots but still be able to one hand cradel
POCKET - 7/07/11 reply

For one handed cradling its best to have a low pocket, however, having a high pocket makes for a better release and thats what i prefer. I play attack but i cradle more horizontaly with two hands so the high pocket works.
(no subject) - 2/04/12 reply

WHAT HEAD - 7/01/11 reply

What universal head should i get that's under $100 with shipping, is good for attack and midi, and faceoffs? I also like whip and a decent pinch. PLZ REPLY!!!!
(no subject) - 6/26/11 reply

Why would you not get the clutch superlight instead? its the exact same price and its lighter.
(no subject) - 6/24/11 reply

Get this - 6/22/11 reply

THIS OR PROTON POWER - 6/22/11 reply

should i get this or the proton power for attack. I would also like good shot speed so pleaz reply quick!!
(no subject) - 6/29/11 reply

this, unless you go for alot of ground ball guy
This or Cobra - 6/21/11 reply

Im a mid looking for best all around head
i like ths - 7/02/11 reply

i use ths head and only ths head its perfect it cracks twice at the bottom but its very usable with the cracks
which clutch - 6/21/11 reply

Do you think I should just get the regular clutch. or one of the other ones like the clutch 2.
regular clutch - 6/22/11 reply

Personally, I would get this because its the most pinched and cheapest in the brine clutch series. Thats just me cuz i really really like alot of pinch. It also depends on your position if your attack I would definitely get the brine clutch and if your middie also the clutch or the clutch 2x and if you play defense i would go for the clutch 2 hoped this helped.
(no subject) - 6/21/11 reply

is this a good attackmen head? why?
(no subject) - 6/20/11 reply

just got one new for $60 on ebay
D - 6/18/11 reply

Would this be a good head for my d pole
(no subject) - 6/19/11 reply

you probably want something a bit stronger. its more of an offensive head
(no subject) - 6/16/11 reply

just strung 1 for my buddy and loved it. it was so easy to string and threw really well.
(no subject) - 6/13/11 reply

Is this good for faceoffs?
ballstop - 6/13/11 reply

does this have a ballstop? and is it good? i want to get the clutch with the F55 shaft for attack
(no subject) - 6/16/11 reply

don't get it with an f55, krypto pro diamond all the way. the clutch is awsome but warps unbelievably
good stick - 6/12/11 reply

i have a krypto pro diamond 10 with a clutch is this good?
good stick/ - 6/12/11 reply

Which Head - 6/10/11 reply

Proton Power, Evo 3 or this for a middie
What head? - 6/09/11 reply

(no subject) - 6/11/11 reply

Super power
(no subject) - 6/01/11 reply

any one try a rock-it pocket with this head?
Great Head - 6/01/11 reply

i've been using this head for two years and it's great. a lot of stringing options. there are sooo many sidewall holes. very durable and AMAZING hold. i hear somebody say "that stick is illegal check it" every game and my stick isnt illegal. my black one from last year pinched drastically but that's because i used it in multiple climates for a full season and i took faceoffs. it was black and i think that's why it pinched. the ONLY problem is the bottom wall holes always break. i've heard of this and it's happened to mine in many cases.
(no subject) - 5/31/11 reply

im new to d/lsm and was wondering what the best d head would be. also what are the lax.com points?
@flowbucket - 5/31/11 reply

im in highschool and i have the normal clutch and i love it. It is pinched and i have a high pocket and it still gets great hold. I would reccommend it to anyone hope this helps
Clutch or Clutch X? - 5/30/11 reply

I cannot decide between what head I should get. The Clutch or Clutch X and why?
(no subject) - 5/31/11 reply

if u get the regular clutch its only legal in high school. if u get the x head its legal in college and high school but its way wider. pick ur poison
Which Head - 5/30/11 reply

Should I get this or the proton power? I go for every ground ball and get checked a lot, so a durable head for ground balls would be nice.
(no subject) - 6/01/11 reply

(no subject) - 6/16/11 reply

super power all the way
good for D - 5/30/11 reply
