    Optimum ball control
Legal for play at all levels
The Clutch is an All Time favorite among the pro and college lacrosse elite midfielders. This head has a very narrow face for great ball control. At Lax.com we really like the lower sidewall rail because its shape lets the ball sit in the middle of the head.
There are endless stringing options to dial in maximum customization.
This X version is legal for players at all levels.

Will it fit????? - 3/08/15 reply

Does this head fit nicely on the Nike vandal attack?
Faceoff Head - 6/21/14 reply

Im going in to high school as a freshmen and i need a really good faceoff head. ive done my research and im towards this head right now. Im the number one fogo on my team. Should i get this or do u have any other suggestions.
(no subject) - 7/04/14 reply

Get the Blade Pro or the Stallion trust me this head will warp first face.
Faceoff Head - 11/17/14 reply

I got the Blade Pro, and my friend got the Clutch X and they are both amazing. I would recommend the Blade Pro for faster Face off, but if you like to battle it out, the Clutch X would be better. My friend has had his Clutch X for over 2 months now, and it hasn't warped at all what so ever. It is more of a personal preference, but I would go with the Blade Pro.
(no subject) - 9/10/14 reply

get either this or the Nike CEO U. i have both, and i think that this plays better, but the CEO U is better for faceoffs.
(no subject) - 3/19/15 reply

If u want a clutch, get a clutch elite. Its pretty durable, and stiff. It holds its shape well, and plays amazing in the field. If ur just looking for a face off head, try a blade or a nike ceo
(no subject) - 5/27/14 reply

this or noz i want a head that is durable and that does not warp
(no subject) - 5/08/14 reply

This or blade pro I am a faceoff man
(no subject) - 10/17/14 reply

if you are a true fogo and dont play offense or defense id go with the blade pro but if you do play other then faceoffs then id go with this
(no subject) - 11/06/14 reply

I've gotta go with laxbro2 just get the blade pro
Head - 4/26/14 reply

Should I get this or the gait torque 3? I play middie and face off sometimes
(no subject) - 4/26/14 reply

Go with this one. I used this 2 seasons ago and the torque 3 last season and this one has far better scooping, ball control, and accuracy. Both had about the same durability but got warped from face offs. I'm ordering another clutch x to use the rest of the season.

(no subject) - 10/05/13 reply

I play attack should I get this or the Nike Vapor
(no subject) - 3/27/15 reply

the nike vapor is a pretty bad head. my friend has 2. one broke on a gb and the other broke on a faceoff. this is alot better
Lax.com Upgraded Intermediate - 4/29/13 reply

Instead of getting this go to mens complete sticks and get the Lax.com Upgraded Intermediate. It is this head but strung and it comes with a shaft. Best part is, its cheaper

Should i get this or m80x
(no subject) - 10/29/14 reply

I have an m80x but you probably should get the clutch
Ok - 5/11/12 reply

Pretty good head. I always though it was stiff but sometimes it just warps really bad making it impossible to pick up a ground ball. Also a sidewal hole broke easily but its still playable.
Veddy Good - 5/07/12 reply

Sick head! This is the only head that I've had that's durable enough to last through an entire season. Get the matte black version because it's definitely the coolest.
warp - 4/29/12 reply

It warps
Great - 4/29/12 reply

I love this head and it is perfect for middie/attack. It is pretty good for face offs but can get a little bent over time.

(no subject) - 10/10/11 reply

this, professor, not x10 (ha). i really recommend this i have it as lsm and its great. not too wide, i hate wide heads, but not too pinched. great head
which one? - 9/29/11 reply

Clutch X or Super power... why?
(no subject) - 9/25/11 reply

get this, it has great hold
(no subject) - 9/25/11 reply

will this fit on a katana sc?
clutch x - 9/25/11 reply

this clutch is beast i have it in black and its so sweet i love it
this head - 9/21/11 reply

this head id great, the only problem would be durability. mine came so flexible i could fold it in half. not sure if that a factor defect, or what. but besides that this head is great, i used it on my shortie, and my longstick. if your playing defense, make sure to make a very high pocket with it, youll be able to rib it from 20m away from the goal. no joke, ive ripped some goals from just past the midfield line.
DEFENSE - 9/11/11 reply

what clutch is the best for defense?
(no subject) - 9/17/11 reply

x. its wider all around, not just near the top. i have it for d

Which head???? - 8/15/11 reply

I am a middi and I take a lot of face-offs should I get cluch x of stx stallion
(no subject) - 8/15/11 reply

clutch x this thing is amazing i do lsm, ssm, and occasionaly faceoffs i love it. both my d poles have it and its awesome. if ur lookin for a wider head tho go with the stallion. (the only reason my shortie doesnt is cuz i had a proton power waitin around so i put tht on it)
(no subject) - 8/15/11 reply

i mean more pinched near bottom, go with stallion. otherwise, go with this all the way
such a dirty head - 8/09/11 reply

Definitely the best head i've had. Stiff, makes a nice pocket for good hold.

does anyone know if the franchise is like the defensive version of this? and is the franchise any good? i cant find reviews for it anywhere.
(no subject) - 6/02/11 reply

This or evo x?
(no subject) - 6/01/11 reply

clutch X is less pinched to meet the NCAA standards so if you're in high school then use the regular clutch's pinch while you can
What head/kid who had q - 5/30/11 reply

The clutch is better for a attackmen cuz it's more pinched= betterhold, but u still can use the clutch for mid. The clutch x I would say is better for mid
thanks - 5/31/11 reply

(no subject) - 5/21/11 reply

no its goes as high as the black unstrung
weak! - 5/16/11 reply

this head broke in the first season i had it in 4 different places
(no subject) - 5/16/11 reply

this or regular first clutch
clutch or x - 5/22/11 reply

dude the clutch and the x are bassically the same head. I used to hate the x heads until I tried the clutch x. the only difference is that the x is wider and easier to catch with and they both have almost the same amount of hold. and the clutch x doesn't warp as much as the clutch.its the only good x head.
(no subject) - 5/15/11 reply

This or proton power on swizzbeat?
(no subject) - 5/14/11 reply

This or super power
(no subject) - 5/15/11 reply

Super power or midd because it is pinched giving you tons of ball control and accuracy, but clutch for attack because it has more wip! :)
(no subject) - 5/21/11 reply

A head doesn't cause wip, its the way you string it that causes the wip.
(no subject) - 5/22/11 reply

super power, it really is easier to string but the clutch x has more hold.
need help - 5/09/11 reply

will this fit on warrior shafts
This or Cobra X - 5/05/11 reply

i'm going to millon in PA which lets you choose between this and the Cobra X for free. The Cobra X is more expensive and i wanted to try something new but i've always been a fan of the clutch. which is better? i'm Junior on varsity and i take face-offs and i will next year too.
im going with the clutch x - 5/06/11 reply

my friend has the cobra, and i like it, but the x doesn't seem to be as nice to me...or so i think....anyways, your going to the millon camp in PA, right? i am too....
(no subject) - 5/03/11 reply

would this head be better for attack or midfield
which head? - 5/01/11 reply

Which head is better between The Brine Clutch X or the Warrior Cobra X. Which one is more durable, will last longer, and is just better overall?
Clutch x - 4/30/11 reply

This is a good head for a attackmen and wing midi, bad for a faceoff midi tho, it will warp very fast with faceoffs, overall great head for catching, passing, and shooting
ill keep it quick - 4/25/11 reply

ive had this head for one high school varsity season, and i couldnt ask for anything better. its flexible, but still stiff enough that i can face no problem and it doesnt warp just pinch a little. offensively, the wider throat obviously makes it easier for the ball to get knocked out but it isnt a huge problem for me as the hold is still very good. defensively, the scoop is still wide enough to be used effectively and its light enough to throw quick slaps. i dont have any problems with the head itself, and i would recommend it for any level of skill.
witch - 4/23/11 reply

this or gospel or gospel x
wich - 4/23/11 reply

This or gospel x for defense or gospel
(no subject) - 4/22/11 reply

I play aggressive middi and do faceoffs i want a durable lightweight head and i am trying to choose between the Cobra X the Noz X or the Gospel.. if u have any of these heads can u reply with ur opion on them and if you wanna tell me which shaft to chose between the Brine Swizzle Scandium 2011, the Maverick wonderboy, or the Stx Katana.. I'd really appreciate if you guys can reply thanks
(no subject) - 4/25/11 reply

I'd actually go with the super power for your head, it's extremely light, quite durable and it doesnt warp when you faceoff, very flexible head. I wold go with the maverik wonderboy for your shaft, its light and durable. Hope this helps
quality - 4/18/11 reply

is this good for a midi. i need a new head im thinkin bout this
YES - 4/20/11 reply

THIS HEAD IS AMAZING FOR MIDI!!!! i have it i take all faceoffs and it doesnt break ive had 10 goals in 3 games with this this is an amazing head
Franchise X - 4/17/11 reply

the design of this head is similar to the Frnchise X
this - 4/11/11 reply

this over super power, this over clutch, and this over rize great middie stick, hasnt warped on me yet and its just a all around good head, i do faceoffs occasionally and it stays in great shape, but the factory stringing sucks so get it restrung if u get it w/factory string
