I LOVE THEM, they take like 2 weeks to break in, but after that it feels like u dont even have gloves on, GET THESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These do not last. The palm wears out sooo fast and the thumb is only extra padding for the tip of your thumb which is pointless. Warrior goalie gloves are awesome. Any kind. I got some custom shockers but the superfreaks are really good too.

i wore a pair of these at the PSU lax camp and they suck. the thumb piece only protects the front of your thumb, while the superfreaks protect your whole thumb

do the thub pieces on these gloves mess with your cradling at all?

the thumb piece on these is waayy to stiff u dont get much movement or no movement at all dont get them! save ur money for a good glove. if u cant get more money get teh rockstars if u can get like 50 more get the kings!

the thumb and inside part of the hand are more padded because those areas are more prone getting hit with shots, therefore more stiff if your a goalie look into these gloves if your not then dont bother

I wouldn't really look into these. I have the old x-factors and the thumb doesn't do a whole lot. It is a little stiffer and if u ken ever manage to break in the palm, it starts to come apart

save your money and buy a pair of the superfreaks. there a little more expensive but definatly worth it

it doesnt really matter which ones u buy. i hav used both the superfreaks and defts. i have gotten checked tons of times with both of them and they both preform well. i admit the protection on the defts looks like it wont perform like the superfreaks, but it will. also in the future it wont matter wether u get warrior or brine because they are both one company now so they will be making new gloves togeather with both qualities combined.

you are right. warrior and brine gloves are of the same quality. I also have superfreaks and defts. There is a difference between them. Brine is looser fitting than warrior AND warrior and brine arent the ssame company. They are under New Balance, so they continue to exist as separate companies.

i play for nesll so i get these glove for the team they are very nice gloves. the thumb tips goes a ton, the whole thumbs is solid and you cant feel a thing. dont beleave any one saying the thumb does do any thing, they probably dont have the defts.their so sick, buy them.

im thinking of getting a sutomized pair of these. i have the superfreaks right now and they already broke after a winter league and the begining of one season with them....kinda lame i know. thats why i want a pair of these good desicion or not?

I have these and the superfreaks and i like these better than the warriors. Better grip and comfort

i was going to buy these gloves because ive been using a regular glove with some tape and other things, ive brused my thumb 3 times and broke it once, once i saw these gloves i did not like the way the protection looked, i need to know should i buy these, the warrior superfreaks or the warrior superstar?

get the super freaks, the defts thumb thing is horrible, it just goes around the tip of the thumb not on top of it

if your loaded with cash get the warriors, if not get brines

i have taken shots in the thumb while wearing defts...no biggy at all. if your a nancy then go ahead for a warrior glove, but good luck grippin the stick. there seems to be a lot of fraidy cats out there im confused i thought we were the toughest.

I used to have Gladiator Goalie Gloves a while ago but they where too bulky, so i switched to the Defts and i love em. Great Protection. The most i have gotten is a jammed thumb from a shot which was in the 80's range. But the material in the palms are deteriorating a bit, that is my only problem.

Im on varsity and i had just got them and i got hit in the thumb from a kid with a 50+ mph shotand they were the reason for my thumb not breaking

kids i play against shoot 80 and 90. cut out some good hard carboard or plastic and tape it around your thumnb. thats what i did.

ive used these gloves for about 4 seasons and its been the exact same thing for four seasons, the gloves are very flexible/comfy, to the point where it feels like your not wearing them, and thats also the problem. when u compare brine gloves to stx/warrior gloves, it just doesnt hold up. so unless your either really good and never get hit in the hands, or you just dont feel pain then these are the gloves for you, other wise your better off wit an stx/warrior goalie glove

these things are ugly, the thumb looks rediculis, as does the design, nice ugly product Brine!
