SHUT UP! ALL OF YOU! its all about preferrence.
id just depends on the way you play, you may like it, you may love it, you just need to try everything until you find what you like the most.

I played with both this and the nemesis. The Nemesis is just so much easier to string and throwing with it is a lost easier personally. When I used the Eraser it flexed abnormally. The only advantage the eraser HAD over the nemesis was the weight but now they have the nemi-lyte |

i am torn between ordering this or the new nemesis lyte... what do you guys think i should get?? |

eraser is the best goalie head in the game. the flexibility and shape allows for perfect give on shots. |

 | - gkrockstar91 4/04/10 reply
I bought this head and really like it. The only problem I have with it is that it rattles on my shaft (Krypto Pro). I looked at the head and noticed it was wider than the shaft. Is this possible and how can I solve it? |
 | | - irmolax 4/04/10 reply
you can sometimes just put some tape on the shaft that goes into the head to make it wider so it fits |
 | | - millerlax 7/14/10 reply
just rap all the part of the stick that the head throat covers with 2 layers or however many and it will keep it from rattling around |
 | - mendhamgoal17 3/28/10 reply
this is lighter than the eclipse, and everything else. i use this on an ice and it is the lightest stick possible for goalie |
 | | - P Riviere 5/11/10 reply
the new void lyte is the lightest, but this is pretty lite |
 | - wgoalie13 3/17/10 reply

 | - El Jamo17 9/05/09 reply
I really like this head.
It's light, accurate, and has a good stopping area. Its pretty stiff for its weight and doesn't soften as much in the heat as much as an eclipse. |

I have to say this definetly is. It scoops so well, I can scoop the ball in like 4" long grass with ease. It is also really light and the save area is very big. One more thing it's cheap compared to other goalie heads and I can clear like 65 yds. and i'm a 12 year old. So definetly buy this. |

 | | - Splaxgoalie40 4/09/09 reply
the nemesis is really heavy, i had it before and then it's sidewall snapped. I then bought the eraser and i could move so much faster because it was lighter, its also wider i think. The eclipse is also good too, it is dependable and wide and light. I would go with the eraser but the eclipse is good too
 | | | - MUHS Lacrosse 5/11/09 reply
I have played with all three of these heads on the same shaft, nemisis is heavy but definetly the eclipse is best. |
 | | | - brickwall10 3/26/10 reply
the eraser is like the eclipse except it has more sidewall holes which translates to a more unique pocket |

im looking for head that is light accurate and can throw far distances any ideas? |
 | - yankeehater1 1/13/09 reply
My team's goalies were forced to switch to this last year due to a Brine sponsorship. We had all always used eclipses and were skeptical at first. If strung well, however, this stick easily throws as well as the eclipse. It is also firmer and I have yet to break one (I broke 2 eclipses in 3 years). I have also become a big fan of the contoured throat which allows for better grip than the eclipse did. IMPORTANT: Make sure to use hard mesh with this head. |

this is great for attack when my midies pass me the ball i can easily catch it with this. great checking i intercept the defences passes. though only problem is coach. he says i shouldnt have one of these... i guess these are for advanced players.... |
 | | - @(¤_¤)@ 11/26/08 reply
when i play midie i use this thing for face offs it kinda hard to throw... they coulda made the stick less pinched because it very pinched but good so ball do not fall out. i hit people on head with this but they send me to time out |

 | | - brett_goalie 12/19/08 reply
get hard, because soft you may get a deeper pocket but when the ball hits the mesh its like a trampoline
also when it rains or snows it total messes up the whole thing |

hard soft as ALOT of whip and if it gets wet your screwed

is this head heavy at all cuz i have the eclipse and i was wonderin if this was as light as that |
 | | | - J.B. 10/20/08 reply
Do you know what goalie head out there is really light. I have eclipse, eraser, and a nemisis but i got this free dolomite shaft and i wanted a light head to match it. This shaft is about 85 grams and is barely illegal, i think it is 28 inches, so i need a head that is really light. |
 | | | | - lacrossdude858 10/21/08 reply
get the eraser or the eclipse. nemesis is to heavy. and i think the eclipse is a little bit lighter but i think the eraser has a little bit more save area. its sidewalls are a little more open by not much though |
 | | | | | | - flyers11' 11/10/08 reply
Their all wrong. The Eraser is tied with the sentinel at 10.8 ounces, the two lightest goalie heads on the market. There you go. Go eraser, its sick, although the pocket takes some serious work, and will not channel like the nemesis. That said, its one of the bigger heads and still the lightest. . . . |
 | | | | | | | - J.B. 11/12/08 reply
I have heard that the Guardian is also 10.8 ounces, is there any truth to that?
 | | | | | | | | - mendhamgoal17 4/05/10 reply
actually ur all wrong, the eraser is 10.6 and the lightest goalie head now, until they are comming out with the voidlyte which is 9.6 ounces |

does the head break or not cause im gettin a new head and i wanna know if this breaks easy. my eclipse has gone through two seasons and i might just get another one of those. is this as accurate as the eclipse? |
 | | - LeeMLB06pmi 3/28/08 reply
Similar to the eclipse and mine actually just broke after about a season and a half but it got hit in an odd place. This is great or the eclipse. This is lighter and easier to string, the eclipse is a little stronger and makes an easier channel. |
 | - Hadi Khalil 3/18/08 reply
How do u string the sidewall of this? every hole? every other hole? and i heard that it is hard to form a good channel pocket, you can only make a bowl. is this true? |
 | | - LeeMLB06pmi 3/28/08 reply
It all depends on how you string it. If you want a channel, you just have to pull up the mesh at the top middle hole. String every other until you get the area you want the ball to sit in then go every hole until your pocket area is complete then go every other to the end. Then all you have to do is cross the bottom string and after you work it in a little it will have a modest channel. Or you could put in double sidewalls as well. Any stick can have a channel. |

I recommend and Eclipse over the answer. I am not a fan of the offset and circular shape. It is light but I still prefer the eclipse to it. |

 | - turboleaf 2/28/08 reply
I've had my eraser for two months and I was very satisfied with it. I previously used an eclipse but it was old and was starting to lose some of its rigidity. The eraser felt the same as the eclipse but I liked it more because of the several sidewall holes. However my eraser cracked by through and bottom string holes. It still works and I'll use it until it gets to the point where it hurts my game, when that happens I'm going back to the eclipse. |

The best goalie head I've ever had! Open sidewall design makes it very light and the offset give you great control! I've owned the Nemisis, Eclipse, Guardian, Money, and Abyss and this is by far the best in my opinion. |

 | - Meade 4/21/07 reply
This is a damn good head. I'm no goalie, but my Goalie has it, and I've played with it. I've tried this, a Nemi, a Guardian, and an Eclipse, and this is easily the best. The most stoppage area out of all the heads is a nice thing to have. The throat is a lot larger than any you'll ever have tried before though. and it kinda slings forward, which doesn't make much sense, but if you try it, you'll get it.
All in all, this head>every other goalie head. But PLEASE- try it before you buy it. |
