f55 or sc21 scandium

a middie on my team has it and it so lite and he pulls dodges so effortlessly with it. He has had it for three seasons too and only a dent or two. Great for intermediate players that want to advance their level and use a forgivable shaft that will correct its mistakes. Keep it for a year or two then get a brine magnum. But overall great price and weight for an eager intermediate player that wants to improve

the f22 and f55 arent the same price the f22s about 100$ less, i recomend the f22

Does a Evo 2.0 fit or do I need to drill a hole like I did for my other brine shaft?

with lacrosse screws u never have to drill a hole. they cut into the metal themselves. it takes a couple minutes, but it makes the head tighter than if u drill a hole

does the evo ti fit straight on this or do i have to drill a new hole?

i would say this because its lighter and i heard the the krypto r10's grip peels when you take a hard hit on the shaft. So if weight isnt a big factor to you and your not that aggressive or your not gonna use the shaft for a while the r10 is fine. If not go for this. Overall i think the brine 55 is your best choice.

don't get a Magnum i used it one time at a rainy practice and the design started to peel. I know a kid who plays at Notre Dame who has the F55 and he loves it

the first two weeks i had the stick half of the stick's paint was chipped off

if you play defence and are looking fo an AMAZING shaft the BUY this, dont hesitate just do it!!! i played with it for the season and i hit like none other and there isn't even a dent or scratch on it.

It chips but it keeps it's form and hasn't bent for me. I've had it for a season playing one or two games a week and all I have are little dents. It's very good for the price.

db803(one without crappy plastic butt) is WAY better than this. just as strong, but lighter. this shaft feels sort of weird but you get used to it. i have this and a clutch with hard mesh and it is AMAZING. i would rank this combo a 9/10 weight. 100000/10 amazingness. and a 58743905837508/10 coolness and im being 100% serious

overall i think the F 15 is the best shaft over the other F series shafts. it only a litle bit heavier than the rest of the shafts and the F 15 is more durable.

I use the F22 because it is a very light and durable stick with a great grip. I have a Proton Power on mine and it feels as light as a short pole... Think of the F22 if you going to get another D-Pole!

ima go with the f-10 as the best shaft in this series. not the crappy one with the ridges but the one before that. its not very light or durable......but its still the best

Okay well i went by my local lacrosse store(break away lacrosse in Latham New York) and got a gold f55 attack and a black clutch. i have already used this shaft in one indoor game and a practice and i love it. it is super light and still very strong. it also has a perfect feel with my brine king II gloves. this is also perfect with a clutch because it is light, balanced and strong. i would recommend this totally it is perfect. and would also recomend a clutch with soft mess, 2 strait and 1 U. also make the pocket sort of low and make the U slightly tighter than the others. i didnt this and oh my god it has so much hold. i can literally take a fake shot with ouut moving my stick slower or in a different way than normal shooting/ passing all i have to do is follow through and turn the stick. this is the best shaft ever made and is perfect with a clutch

That the F- series was really good back when it first came out because it was mixed with Ti and other crap to make them hella strong, but then they changed it to the ignite series and changed the metal so it just all went to crap. and now they just changed the name back to the F series but it is the same metal as the ignite... f10 = ignite f15 = ignite supra f22 = ignite optra f55 = ignite optra hd

This is a great combo for midfielders. The F55 is light and feels like nothing when your holding it. The intrepid is One of the best heads for scooping ground balls ive played with.

i like this shaft a lot. it was so amazingly light. but one game when i was right in the hole my shaft got slashed by this little kid and it has a pretty huge dent right now. im goin with the c405. its not much of an improvement with the weight but i feel confident that it wont get destroyed in the middle of a game. i dont have much preference. but this shaft and the finalizer were a pretty crazy combo. just watch out for your stick. dont get slashed. this stick wasnt weak it was just slashed pretty hard. so if your thinking about buying this shaft then definitely get it. i got a good few years out of it.

go with the edge if you can pinch well.i think they are great heads after they have been pinched. there godly brine for life...i like turkey

id say go with the cyber.. this is the lightest shaft available and the cyber is the lightest head available (weighing in at 4.8 ounces) the edge is quite a bit heavier... putting a heavy head on the end of this thing makes it crazy top heavy.. well, hope i helped

defintly a cyber they are really light and have the perfect pinch I have both a cuber and an edge and the cyber is so much better

I use this shaft and I believe it is a pretty good shaft, but its definitely overrated. No way is it one of the lightest shafts ever. Also if you play box lacrosse like I do it dents pretty easily. It does have really nice grip without adding "wire" or "sharkskin" stuff to it.

If u take this with the Brine Cyber like i have..u will have the lightest stick in ur state.....it is crazy light.

im an attackmen/middi..im a fairly agressive player as far as stick checks go, i have dented my shaft so bad in countless places..do not get it..go with an F15..its much stronger and less expensive, just a little heavier

i have used both the only thing stronger then c555 alloy is pur titanium anthe c555 is3 years old it has no dents an the f15 is1 year old and it has 6 dents

im a freshman playin for varsity and guys cant touhc me..why becuase it a lot easier to get by them with a light shaft then to get hit with a heavier shaft that wont "dent"

the f55 is lighter than air it is crazy, this makes any stick combo head heavy i put a cyber, matrix, blade, and a couple of other light heads and all were aweful, an aluminum stick is stornger than this, it is a rip off, the f22 is also crazily light get it is owns, it still makes most sticks head heavy, i recommend a blade or cyber on this, the f22 is the greatest shaft

I got the F55 superlite and its sick! this shaft is the bomb! dont let the price of the F22 tempt you into getting it over this, trust me, this shaft is worth every penny and then some!

get the f-22. that's what i have with a nitrous head. i do admit, i play hard and the stick will dent, there's no doubt about it, but man u have got to try to do it. i took a d-man's stick out of his hands with a stick check, and it did dent, but so small you only noticed it by running your hand along it. great shaft, i'd have to say go for durability on this one. the f-22 is best.

my stx titanium was dented by an al6000

It seems that a lot of people who play this sport don't know the difference between a dent and a DENT. A dent is a little ding, something that happens to all shafts. A DENT is something that happens to all shafts too. I have a Titan Classic that I've have for about 3 years, and it has plently of dents in it, BECAUSE I USE IT! The only way to prevent dents from happening, is to not use the shaft!!!! The STX Ti is very light for a Ti shaft. The only one that is lighter is the Levitation. The Stx Ti is also very strong. It is one of the best strength to weight ratios in the game.

but an al6000 dented it, so who cares how light or strong you say it is. Not that it is necessarily true that an al6000 did that, but still.

the stx titanium i prefer more and i play box lacrosse.

you see what people don't realize is that dents are nothing, it's when you get a crack that you have to worry about, titanium shafts may get dented like mad but they rarely crack.
