i have an optra and it is the best stick i have ever owned. It is ligh tand durable and also has better grip than a kryptolyte. It is also lighter and stronger than the kryptolte. So.....i would get an optrra but its up to you

dented a sc-ti pro, bent a brine titanium, and snapped a howitzer. I even whaled it on the goalpost to see if that would even dent it (it did) but after 3 years of high school defense this shaft is still the boss, but noodlers beware, this ain't no db803, its a man-shaft

this literally weighs as much as most titaniums if not more, and is not as strong so I would say get the regular optra, or get the warrior titan classic.

i have the normal one, which is even lighter. this is like the best shaft ever.

i use the warrior krypto pro diamond for defense and my entire team has said it is just as light as their attack sticks with a revo pro on it.

the excel is great and i think a little better than the scandium but the scandium air is amazing watever u do dont get this its like the same weight as the kryptolight and not any more durable the just make it 100$ so it sounds like a good shaft

just checked on brine.com and they said the optra hd was 7.2 oz and the regular ignite and ignite optra are 5.7 oz. i don't feel like thinking at all right now so you can do the math. but keep in mind that shaft weight is different for every separate shaft, even if it is the same type of shaft. Also keep in mind that even .2 or .3 oz can make a significant difference on the feel of the shaft once you put the head on.

what is the difference between regular ignite optra and ignite optra HD.?

HD has thicker walls, making it stronger yet is just a little bet heavier. There's almost no difference.

Don't buy Brine heads. They're light and all but they are made more for weight. That's straught from a Brine superintendent's mouth. Get Gait. They're just as light but are tons stronger.

Im looking for a new d shaft and ive got both warrior and brine heads but i deff prefer the brine... i currently have a warrior shaft, stick with another warrior or go with the brine?

They should cause there're both made buy the same comany so they will. Get the Clutch or Evo Pro for this it's beast with this.

its kinda assumed that a brine head would fit a brine shaft. u should consider something lighter like a brine scandium for a truth. Its goin to be bottom heavy with a optra hd. but its all your preference.

I won this shaft at a camp but i don't know what would be a good head to put on it. i originally wanted to put an x2 but im debating over the franchise, cyber pro, gait assylum, and the clutch. Its a waste letting the shaft sit in the croner of my room so pleaz respond.

i havc this and a torque and i play face off and the combination between the 2 is just amazing to me. i have played both box and outdoor for 2 years and have had the same stick and head not a dent in it and never cracked the head

i love the shaft but i wish it was a little bit stronger, i have dents all over mine but it hasn't cracked or broke yet, but it has a great feel and its light as hell

The is one of the best strongest shafts I've played with. I have this on a Clutch and it's a beast. If you're thinking about getting an Ignite Optra and you have a little extra $ get the HD.

it is heavy. The walls of the alloy are thick and strong, which is good if it werent so weighed down. If strong is what you want there are stronger sticks that are lighter but cost more. I hope that helps.

This is a hell good shaft. light weight, awesome strength, the grip on this is ok but it could be better.i just put some tape around the bottom of the handle and it helps alot. great stick definitely worht the bucks

I have a supra and i play high school lax, it hasnt dented yet. The optra is just a more expensive version of the supra, plus it is barely lighter that the supra. you are better off getting a supra for 40 bucks cheaper. plus with that extra 40 bucks, you could buy a better head or spend it on something else.

i agree cuz my friend has it and hes had it for a while and it hasnt dented ever and hes gotten like triple teamed cuz hes huge so it is good

i have the brine c555 ignite optra and it great. i played with it through the winter and my shaft has no dents.. i play a lot so the c555 isnt bad at all but the hd is prob better but i have no clue..im guesing since it more $ it has more psi but if ur not sure get the c555 it has 100,000 psi nd its a beauty. i play dpole so i check throw a lot of checks and nothing yet!!!
