i just got these gloves played one practice with them and one scrimmage in the rain and they were amazingly comfortable and held up well in the rain. I LOVE THEM!

sickest gloves on the market

I bought these gloves about a year ago. They come broken in and your hand moves so freely in them. Because of the great movement with these gloves i can block harder shots a whole lot easier. i highly recommend them!

I have had a pair of kings since I was a freshman in high school. I'm now playing college ball and bought a new pair of kings, but the ones I had from high school lasted me all 4 years

i bought these about 9 months ago and these offer no protection. Also, they rip easily and the stitching came out about a week after i got them. extremely bad buy i regret it.

I need help. . . Should i get the brine king II's, the Maverik Maybach's or the Rbk 9k's

I've worn these gloves since the end of june and they are very comfortable dont get me wrong, but the finger protection is not as good as the k18 1's or the mac daddy goalies i had. If you do more work out side of the crease than these are the gloves for you. If you want to just be a wall and clear all the time i would suggest the k18's

i just got mine in navy today in the mail and i havent been able to actually use them yet but i have been wearing them around the house bc the look bad ass first off and they are soooo comfy i think the thumb protection is better then my old superfreak 1 bc it seems very sturdy but not just the giant block on my thumb... THE GLOVES ARE SICK

mind if they made those mac daddy 2 imperials for goalies. if only.. :/

The thumb protection is really bad. But, it works for other people.

these are nice gloves dont get me wrong. however they are over priced. they also are AWFUL when it comes to protection and durability. if you play attack and take alotta checks on the gloves, BEWARE. i had 4 separate instances where id get checked in the glove and it would go right through causing bleeding and a seriously bruised finger or two. also within 7 games they were falling apart. i wouldnt recomdend these unless you barely ever get checked in the gloves... but unless your part cheetah chances are you get checked there

These are one of the most comfortable gloves that I have ever worn. But, these gloves offer little protection. I would recommend taping your thumb up if you buy them.

hey i have the original king goalie gloves custom made and due to the lack of protection i now have a broken hand and thumb, it wouldve been my turn to start varsity as a freshmen but these gloves didnt give enough protection

how can any gloves not have enough protection that u break ur hand?

I love the glove mainly because its super comfy and relatively protective, but i've had them for about a season and the palm near my thumb is already ripping.

broke my thumb in 2 places and had to have surgery on in and then another sugery to put a pin in it.

Anouther goalie on my team got these but his have ths same armadillo type thumb that the defts have but in the pictures above they dont have them???

Great gloves, the thumb actually does offer alot of protection as does the rest of the glove. Was a little nervous when I first bought them thinking there was limited protection do to them being thin, but that is just not the case. Took at least 10 90+ mph shots in the hands, not even a bruise. However the thumb knuckle can chafe pretty bad so just wrap a band around your hand with tape if you experience it.

I bought these gloves about 3 weeks ago, and i like them. They are extremely comfortable, durable, and have amazing grip. The protection is ok too, but the only problem is that the glove is a bit disproportionate. The Thumb is not flexible, and the finger's size does not really math up with the hand size. I would recommend this to middies and attackmen, because even though the thumb is bad, you get used to it quickly and it looks pretty sick

I am getting new gloves next year and I really like these but the brass monkeys look pretty tight so which gloves are better these or brass monkeys

definetly not goalie gloves and if u are a goalie dont get brass monkeys..

the thumb protection on these for goalie gloves is awful. I love everything else about the gloves though. Ive had 2 pairs of k18s and i loved them but i wanted to try something new. I BROKE MY THUMB ON THE 2ND DAY I HAD THEM!!! but the gloves are AMAZING. I took my plastic thumb guard off my k18s and taped them on the kings

I would personally get these gloves. They are more flexible then the K18's. But they do not have as much thumb protection.

king II are nice and they form to your hands really well but the thumb protection is weak. Ibroke my thumb in 2 places and need sugery on in. would recommend added ALOT of pading if u do get them

pretty sure most of your attack and mids are gonna know what brine king equipment is.

I have not seen these yet, but i am going to predict that these are going to not compare with the superfreaks or K18's. Brine gloves do not have as much protection as warrior or STX gloves, though they are far more flexible. I think that they are going to have the same protection as the regular king II's, but with the deft thumb.
