wow these look really uncomfortable

THESE THINGS ARE SO UNCOMFORTABLE...... If they even get a tad sweaty they start to really itch. Ive tried other pads and these are not comfy. They have good mobility and protection though.

im 6 foot 145 lbs. im tall and skinny. im a middie. i went from k18 arm guard to whatevs is better. i want a smaller arm pad thats comfy small but stills gives mobility and protection. if u got some ideas thats great. leave a reply. p.s. what would be a good size for me?

i wood definitely get the lopro ap. they r a little bigger than the defense ones but dont sacrifice and mobility or comfort. they are tight

I'm looking for some new aps and these look pretty tight. I play varsity defensive middie and take a couple faceoffs and occasionally run down the field. I want more mobility and comfort over protection but I still want a little protection. I am 6 ft 155. What size should I get and are there any other aps you would recomend?

im 15 and 120 should i get medium or large. and will these strech out and get looser after i use them more???

i heard they suck are they good for high contact attack? if not any suggestions?

When I first tried these on, they were extremely stiff and TIGHT. After wearing them for a while and sweating in them, they really loosened up. The protection is decent, however the mobility is incredible. Also, they look sexy

yes they doo look sexy i see alot of colleges use them but then alot of the reviews complain about em so idk if i shud risk oredering them

i think the reason write bad reviews on these is because they feel horrible at first. They totally cut off your circulation when you first try them on out of the package. You really have to sweat in them a few times to break them in. After that, they're heavenly. Also, these do not slide down your arm at all because they have a grippy material on the inside above your elbow, and on the forearm. As far as protection goes, these really don't offer as much as the other leading arm pads, but sometimes protection must be sacrificed for mobility. They will still protect you enough to prevent minor bruises and welts.

i'm about 5'7 135 and not insanely jacked but im pretty decent for 13. would these be too tight in large.. because i saw comments saying that these were too tight and if i got these i want to be able to fit them for a while.

Do not get these they have decent durability, NO protection, they are uncomfortable and they hold onto yuor sweat and are really hot and makes you sweat alot.

g22 ap, these, cell ap, or king 2. im a mid that dodges a lot, not really worried about the protection. flexibility and comfort is all i care about right now.

I play attack and when i wear these and i've injured my elbows numerous times. I would absolutely say that they are for middies, not enough protection for an attackmen.

these are a little tight and i would probably go with the STX cells. im not even that big and i gave a large version of these and there tight.

yea they are a lil tight. however they dont have straps so they kinda have to be a lil tight. but i tried mediums and they were too tight but the large are pretty good. however the cells are nice too. my friend has them and they are really comfortable and give a lot of protection

how low do these go down on your arm and how is the protection compared to the supercross slip on's

but i do know they reach about half way down your forearm.

maybe i was wrong on how far they reach... maybe it's 1/3 down your arm

These have great mobility but the dont realy do anything in the way of protection. The most protective arm guards I have ever seen were some of the old exodus ones but im not sure if they still make them. supercrosses are good tho.

can you wash these? mine are starting to reak and it would be nice to be able to wash them.

just wash them for a short amount of time and at the lowest heat

im guessing from the reviews these allow alot of movement; just wanted to make sure this was true from someone who might have worn them: the actual elbow cap doesn't inhibit movement does it?

you should probably get the mediums. they are gonna be snug but are gonna expand and stretch out, thats what theyre meant to do.

Picked up about five pairs of these at the brine warehouse sale for like 4 bucks each, and kept one pair for myself. They're very minimalistic, and they fit snug. All you can ask for.

If I wear medium K18 ap's would I wear medium lo-pro's as well?

if you have k18 aps in a medium why do you need these too? if your wearing a medium your not at a high enough level to need another pair...

im looking for a light arm pad that is really flexible and had good movement and has alright protection and one that wont slip down my arm is this one good??????

light, highly mobile, and, apparently, they cut off circulation so they won't slide. but the cirulation thing depends on the size of your arms.

are these the same length as the supercrosse slip ons?

if you wanna spend alot less money and still get the same flexibility with ur arm pads get a pair of football forearm pads. there more flexible than any lacrosse pads and there really cheap. yeah they don't protect great, maybe around the same protection as these, but that shouldn't matter if ur a middie or a defenseman.

im 14, 5'10, and 140lb. my forearms are a little skinny and my biceps are average sized. should i get the larges or mediums? also, how far down your forearm do they go?

Definately go with a medium, I'm 6'0" 160 and medium fit about right. I have King gloves and there is about 3 inches of room in between the glove and pad. Hope that helps.

duke probaly got then custom made or just a special thing for they schools they sponser but i would go to the brine website and check it out

i just got these in and there great. I got them in mediums, and im anout 6'3, but there a little tight. Although there labled as being very low profile, i decided to do what some of the duke players did, and cut off 2 rows of blocks on each pad. This makes them a lot more flexible, and more comfortable. If u dont mind less protection, this helps a lot

these offer great mobility but if you dont like getin hit on the arm donts get these they leave plenty of rom to get hit and the pading is not great where it is. get them for defense and maybe midie but defenitly not attak

just a lil thing here we there is no freshman teams there is sub varisty, junior varsity, and varisty for lax and our team has only freshman and sophmores. and our team was 32-5 and we beat varisty teams while we dnt have juniors so defintely no seniors and ur just jealous since we owned ur ass

I'm considering buying these. I'm a middie who switched over from attack. I hear that there is not as much need for protection when you are a middie. Would these be a good choice? or would my arm get torn to shreads?

i am a defense man who moved from middie you dont need alot it all depends on how tough you are

these are comfortable and easy to move in but they offer no protection

i play attack and do not want to be weighed down by big bulky attack pads. these look like they would have a good mobility and good protection but so do the k18s, other suggestions also appreciated

k18s are nice but the supercrosee rgeular one are good and so are they dynast mid aps and are like 15 to 20 bucks cheaper

im a freshman defender on varsity and these adjust to my arm width and they dont slid at all. you dont even notice that theyre on you

I play attack and midi or long pole midi. I switched down to jv when because im a freshman but i would get these over supercrosses. Supercrosses dont slip and are really tight which could be bad or good but they have no upper arm protection theses lo pros form to your arm and sink in so they always feel nice. And ned crotty, mike manly, and brad ross uses these on duke

hey im just wondering how these run on sizes. i dont have huge arms but there not skinny either. i just need to kno how these fit and if they slide etc.

not to brag but im on the high school team and i have been pumpin some serious iron :) so if ur like me and have pretty muscular arms get large. they are pretty expandable and conceal around ur arm and that is the best part about these arm pads. so if i were u id definitely get large because you will be able to fit comfortably and use them for some number of years. These pads are great i just got them and i play defense they don't hold you back and are padded thoroughly so that you won't get bruised up these are a great buy for 50 dollars

i recommend you gain another 50 lbs then play lacrosse, im 5'6" and a solid 162, theres something wrong with you being 5'8" 120lbs.

there not that protective but who cares there really flexible

these pads give you so much movement and dont pinch like other ones. if you have really fat arms, then they might fell to tight or cut off your circulation. there isn't any adjustable strap, but they fell good to me.

how do these fit compared to the medium ventilators or the large sized mpg 5.0 ap?

i play defense, and up until i bought these pads NOTHING would stay on my arms, no matter what. and i'm not even a tiny guy. i even had a pair of the AP custom's, in a size small, and they would not work. i bought these small, and wore them around my house for the rest of that afternoon, stretching them out for a good while. i haven't had a single problem yet, and they can take hits like crazy.

these are amazing! i have them i have liek 3 pairs they sooooo awesome i luv u brine!
