MANUFACTURER SPECS
  • NEW King graphic and grip pattern gives players an improved feel without the use of tape
King head pattern forms a variety of sick shapes and designs
Raised grip gives consistent feel and allows for maximum control of your stick
    High-End Scandium delivers superior strength
LAX.COM PRO-INSIGHT
We are giving this shaft high ratings for grip without the added weight of using tape. The Swizz (as referred to by high school athletes)is prized for its all around color scheme and use of raised graphics which gets more pronounced towards the butt end of the shaft. This allows the shooting hand easier motion on the top of the stick while the force of the shot or pass is anchored by the bottom hand. An advanced offensive pole with a big defensive following as well. Priced in the middle of the spectrum, the Swizzle is a Lax.com best seller.

Swizzle - 3/28/13 reply

I had a neon green swizzle that didnt match my high school team (obviously), so i took a knife and literally chipped of all the color and grip, and it feels like a kryptolyte and is an insanely light shaft. just an idea for anyone out there who has a swizzle with a color they dont want anymore. But its pointless now because they came out with the Brine Scandium lol
Box Lax - 3/23/13 reply

Is the Swizz a good shaft for box lax? I have a Krypto blam but I'm looking for something with a bit more grip and durability
Help! - 2/19/13 reply

Should i get this, or the maverick H2???
Great. - 1/29/13 reply

I've had it since it came out. It's a little heavier then some other sticks but it about the same as a light stick with alot of tape. Very durable. My one compliant is that the grip wears after the first couple of week. It'll peel but thats good since it's to sticky when it's new.
swizzle - 1/13/13 reply

i really want this shaft, but does anyone know how Remove the grip? not a fan of grip
(no subject) - 11/30/12 reply

what i usually do is steal my opponents head and just tape it on mine, always works!
(no subject) - 4/28/13 reply

that makes no sense
(no subject) - 5/02/13 reply

wtf?
(no subject) - 10/15/12 reply

mine dented pretty bad and the grip wears off
Stick - 10/05/12 reply

this shaft is amazing!! it has really nice grip and it is very durable, i use it for attack and i get checked hard and it has no dents yet. it is not very light but i like it this way
Head - 9/04/12 reply

Will the Houdini X head fit on this?
fit - 8/01/12 reply

can a stx super power head fit on this
(no subject) - 9/07/12 reply

Yeah, really well.
(no subject) - 7/16/12 reply

my krypto pro diamond just bent and i was wondering if this any good for d or can u guys suggest anything else.
(no subject) - 7/29/12 reply

This is an amazing stick. (brine blueprint) rocked it for 3 seasons. careful on slap checks as with any d pole. very light and great control from grip pattern. also turned many heads with the neon green ;) So good I have 3 of them! 5 stars
(no subject) - 7/29/12 reply

Also just started using the 2012 same stick different grip pattern. So naturally same review
(no subject) - 6/22/12 reply

will a Proton Power fit on this?
Yea - 12/02/12 reply

Just need to drill a new hole
(no subject) - 6/22/12 reply

ice, H2, and the scandium pro are a better than this and are cheaper.
will a Proton power fit? - 6/22/12 reply

(no subject) - 6/20/12 reply

this or krypto pro 4 d
Defense vs. Attack price? - 6/19/12 reply

Why does the defense shaft cost like $20 more than the attack, should cost a lot more. Just buy the defense shaft and cut it in half.
(no subject) - 7/10/12 reply

because if you cut it i half one stick will have nothing but grip and the other will have little to no grip
(no subject) - 7/14/12 reply

I never thought of that that's actually a really good way to save money on shafts.
(no subject) - 6/02/12 reply

Is this better than the wonderboy?
(no subject) - 6/09/12 reply

Ohh yeah this Brine 2012 is the Best shaft ever. no joke i have used this shaft throughout my season until like the last couple games because i bought the wonderboy. the wonderboy feels a lot heavier when you play with it and the grip blows. my hand would always slide and stuff, plus it feels weird with the gloves on which is my opinon. go for the scandium pro 2012
awesum jkjk - 5/27/12 reply

Swizzle scandium gait ice or krytolyte for attack
(no subject) - 4/07/12 reply

oh my god this is amazing, i got a black one with my white original warrior razor whith black shooters and it looks sick
(no subject) - 4/01/12 reply

My Swizzle Scandium defensive shaft is already missing some of its grip, getting checked doesn't help either.
(no subject) - 3/28/12 reply

This was an orgasim on my hands when i touched it
(no subject) - 5/27/12 reply

(no subject) - 3/19/12 reply

(no subject) - 3/19/12 reply

Im doing the same thing you are with the Black
Heads - 2/25/12 reply

I need suggestions on a good head for this stick for under 80$ that fits this stick perfectly.
Stx stallion - 3/05/12 reply

I got the Black Brine Swizzle Scandium 2012 shaft on my STX All white stallion head with black shooters its one of my favorite sticks its pricey for the head but i recommend it
(no subject) - 3/18/12 reply

if you play d go with the proton u
(no subject) - 2/20/12 reply

the old design was cooler this one is gay.
(no subject) - 1/28/12 reply

My friend's cousin found a Brine swizzle with a stx proton power on the side of the road not kidding
(no subject) - 1/16/12 reply

got this shaft in neon green and it looks siiiiicck. Kind of heavy though. Great shaft, but the KING makes me sick.
(no subject) - 1/12/12 reply

what is better this or the gait ice
(no subject) - 2/23/12 reply

defntly ice
(no subject) - 1/01/12 reply

this shaft looks as if it is royal
Go W/ stx now - 12/15/11 reply

Stx is making the most quality handels right now consistantly. I would recomend SciTi Pro and Scandium Force right now over any other stick. Just helping out
(no subject) - 11/06/11 reply

Alright cool i'll look into it. I've heard it was a hella good stick.
(no subject) - 11/04/11 reply

NO I TAKE THAT BACK GET A H2. a kid on my fall ball league just got it and its sooooo light get it with a clutch. h2 is mavericks version of sc ti and its 75 dollars cheaper
(no subject) - 2/12/12 reply

Got an H2 earlier this year, and playing on a varsity travel team, not one dent after fallball and indoor! :)
(no subject) - 11/04/11 reply

either ice with a clutch head, or scandium pro with a super power. ice is cheaper, sc pro would be lighter (i think)
Stick suggestions - 11/03/11 reply

I'm looking for a light but durable stick, grip isn't a huge deal to me. I have a warrior krypto pro diamond and am liking it a ton but I need a second stick for backup. Deciding between this and a gait ice, but I'm completely open to any suggestions. Also any ideas on combos are appreciated, I play middie and attack.
(no subject) - 10/25/11 reply

the king symbol is literally wrecking the company
(no subject) - 10/23/11 reply

i think ther goin overboard with the king stuff. WAAAAAYYYYY overboard
AGREED ^ - 10/24/11 reply

They really are enough is enough, this shaft looks exactly the same as the one last year except they made it with a king symbol
ikr?!? - 10/25/11 reply

equipment-one thing- making it a series type thing-acceptable. making ALL YOUR 2011/12 GEAR, STICKS AND WHATEVR THE F*** ELSE WITH IT? UNacceptable. imma complain to them

whts better for a middi this or swizzbeat composite need to kno soon
(no subject) - 10/08/11 reply

this is stronger but comp is lighter. and doesnt last as long
(no subject) - 9/24/11 reply

What's better this or scandium pro
(no subject) - 9/24/11 reply

there pretty much the same except the pro is a little lighter. if you want to fix that, wrap tape around the swizzle and peel it off and there the same
(no subject) - 9/26/11 reply

yes, very good buy. i just got mine and they are amazing
suggestions - 9/20/11 reply

I suggest an STX Revolver and a Maverik Phenix for a good rig. Maybe a scandium shaft if youre looking to spend money but the Phenix is AMAZING along wiht the Revolver. Maverik Pads are good, I perfer the zoom d-pads and any of their gloves and shoulder pads.
Question: - 9/20/11 reply

I found some warrior hitman nation 9.0 lacrosse pads (large) on amazon for 70 $---good buy? or go with the mavs? I had already been looking at their stuff, their gear seems to have really solid reviews and relatively cheap.
whoops, wrong person - 9/26/11 reply

yes, very good buy. i just got mine and they are amazing
New to the game - 9/14/11 reply

Hey, I'm new to lacrosse- I'm from Florida where most folks could care less about it. So I grew up playing football and baseball. My roommate here at college though is from Maryland and loves it though and I wasn't doing anything else so I thought I'd go out for the team after he showed me the ropes and I'm having a lot of fun. So my question is: I'm gonna play defense and I'm gonna be looking to throw lots of body checks when I get the chance, so I'm looking for a really durable quality stick and head- SUGGESTIONS PLEASE! thanks guys.
(no subject) - 9/15/11 reply

What about shoulder pads/gloves/arm pads- id like them to breathe well and be comfortable but protection is more of a priority with the shoulder pads at least since I'll be checking
r u on a budget? - 9/15/11 reply

if so, go with whatever shoulder pads u like. i have warrior nation hitmans, and i love them. elbow pads i recommend king arm pads, or lopro d's. for gloves, do u want protection or mobility?
Thanks for the suggestions - 9/16/11 reply

I'll definitely be looking these up, one more thing if you don't mind- what about a head? I've been looking around and it seems to me that a mohawk or a brine edge are good D heads, what do you think?
(no subject) - 9/17/11 reply

i have a clutch x, but good d heads are the x10, proton u, and i think the professor would go good on a dpole. but wider heads are generally better for d, so just look at the pix in the description
(no subject) - 9/25/11 reply

but watch out with the x10. its an amazing head and is totally legit until it breaks within a month. so if you can affored a new one every month go for it,otherwise look for something different
(no subject) - 9/17/11 reply

o and make sure its legal for college. it will usually tell you, but make sure just in case
(no subject) - 9/20/11 reply

for a d pole, the maverik phenix is awesome, and not too expenisve. the x10 is the best d head for its price and the maverik zooms ROCK! the juice is good too
(no subject) - 9/20/11 reply

for gloves the brine king superlights are the perfect defender glove.
heads - 9/25/11 reply

good D heads r the edge x(brine) or the excalibur(stx)
(no subject) - 9/11/11 reply

thinks looks beautiful
I'm new - 9/14/11 reply

I'm brand new to lacrosse- but I'm gonna be playing defense, suggestions for a durable quality shaft and head that isn't super expensive would be great.
