i was wonderin if this was worth the price, im gonna get it with my points but i only have 250, and i need to know if this is better than the stx traditional kit
i just had traditional put in my clutch and its nasty it has a ton of hold cuz the pocket gives away and it throws amazing the only problem is you cant use it when it rains cuz the traditional gets ruined but other whise its amazing!!!!!!
Hey im looking for a new, different stringing on my head and im going to get a EVO or Proton Power. I was wondering if it would fit on these heads. Also... Is this dificult to string?
You can do things with a traditional pocket that you just can't do with mesh, (i.e. ridiculous stick fakes and ball control, not to mention a harder shot). True, they are a bit more temperamental, but when they are sweet, it is incomparable, maybe some of you other vets know what I mean...
Dude i tried using a stick with traditional, and it was freaking AMAZING, u can control the ball like ur own hands, and the shots are good with just right whip
the leather is why you don't want to get it wet because it will shrink when it dries, but if you make sure to keep a ball under a butter knife in it while it dries then the shrinking leather's won't affect the pocket.
it is better for box because its not good for weather, and i had a tradish stick for box, with the hitting and contact in there, u need the kind of ball retention offered by a tradish pocket
i bought warrior traditional kit with an stx head and it was alot harder to string
if u hav an stx head than get the stx traditional kit
the instructions are easier to follow and it is much easier to string
they're pretty much the same but brine has thinner sidewalls that are easier to pull tight, but stx has sidewalls that are tougher. brine's top shooting string is thick and can make a nice top string, but stx's top shooter has plenty of snap.
I hate my mesh i want traditional but i don't wanna end up havin to buy trad and not puttin it on and then wastin my money so someone reply tellin me if it's easy to string a stick with trad
Yes, it does. Although, you shouldn't just do the traditional. Make a nasty pocket out of it. I always create my own pockets. It's easier than you think.
what a tool, he responded to his own comment. this guy needs a life, because obviously, he has got wayyy to much time on his hands. and to respond to his comment... what about people who dont like whip at all? huh? and obviously, since u say so, all the college and mll and nll guys that use mesh are just beginners, i mean who else uses mesh other then beginners? wanker.
That was one of the more funnier comments on these posts. Never the less, traditional is just a selection. Its not one is better than the other. Its which ever one you are more comfortable with.
ok first of all yur just stupid for responding to yur own comment. Second, notice that 90% of all college and mll players all use mesh. hmmm, so i guess yur just more experianced than them, since people that use mesh are beginners, right?
