Should i get this helmet

DO NOT GET IT IF YOU LIKE THE DESIGN GET THE WARRIOR VERSION IT IS A LITTLE LIGHTER AND LESS BULKY BUT STILL NOT AS GOOD AS CASCADE OR EASTON

my school has these. but they also have cpxr's and pro7's, though nobody gets them anymore. idk why, i think they're both more protective

when it says chin...does it mean chin strap? or the chin piece?

ok so i just tried it on tonight and loved it. i might order it but will it continue to fit right and be comfortable after a while? its a fine lookin bucket though right?

is there a Brine throat guard (mounted) that fit this helmet. Cus i got a PLH with a cheap throat gaurd that keeps one getting riped off by crankshots

Has anyone ever had the Triad ST? If so, does the Triumph fit similarly? I have kind of a big head, but the ST fits me fine, so I'm thinking the Triumph should fit fine, being that it's pretty much the same style. Any input, before I buy the best helmet out now?

the memory foam is so comfy, and the sightlines are amazing. the only downside is that i cant seem to find any vent decals for it. if you find some let me know

BEFORE I GOT THIS HELMIT I HAD A TRIAD ST2 AND A CASCADE CLH2. WHEN I GOT THIS HELMET THE FOREHEAD PECE IS LIKE SANDPAPER AND IS RELY BIG. SO AFTER THE FIRST PRACTISE MY HEAD COUDLENT TAKE IT. SO I RIPPED IT OUT AND GLUED IN A SOFTER FOREHEAD PECE. I GOT THE SOFTER FOREHEAD PECE FROM MY TRIAD. AND THE CHINSTRAP ON THIS IS HUGE. PLEASE COMMENT.

the forehead piece is so comfortable. It molds to your head once you start sweating in it so that you get a perfect fit. Either you have a really big head or you just suck so bad you dont play and the piece doesnt mold unless the helmet is warm. this is the most comfortable helmet i have ever worn. I recomend this to any player who doesnt want concussions. It also looks cool.

it hurts ok and theres notin you can do a bout it i dont wont to hear oh it molds to your head and crap. becuz i had a frekin head head ache and my head was llike bleedin.

im not the one arguin.i was just sayin that you may need to do somthin about the fore head pece becuz it hurts. when i said that bout seven people jumped on me sayin I was stupid and its not even my fault. i cant help that it hurts. geez

I bought this helmet today at omega from the guy who designed it and the franchise. he was also the equipment manager for duke lacrosse. It is amazing. it'll fit everyone. the twist thing at the back will make sure of it. BUY THIS HELMET!!!!!

yes, but if you are really torn, try a CPX. these fit great and are comfortable with great sight lines, but the chin cracks. try a CPX before you get this if you can.

would this be a good helmet for goalies? please help me find a good goalie helmet for visiblity

This is a great helmet for goalies. It has fantastic visibility, fits great with the dial, and has good protection. I'd definitely recommend, but the Cascades are all good too.

This line of helmets starting with the triad are good, but the chin cracks really easily at the point where it meets the body of the helmet. I'd go w/ a cascade. proly a CPX

i have this helmet in all white with the chin and visor in royal blue. The sight out of this helmet is simply great! You get a clear view, the space that it has for peripheral sight is also helpful, you don't even have to turn your head having those spaces. Its style is also great, i get alot of compliments from other parents and attack opponents. GET IT!!

this helmet has great sight lines, like i said great peripheral vision from the spaces on the side. its very comfortable, with that memory foam, feels like youre not even wearing a helmet, seriously. It also looks cool. Cons.....me personally dont have any. Unlike the cpx which my school has, this helmet has a snug fit because of the memory foam, and if you want it tighter use the dial on the back When you get it, just pull on the sides near the opening A LITTLE, not too hard, so that your head can fit perfect. Thats what i did. hope this helps!!!

if your looking for best fit on an ice shield then get a cpro because thats what i had and it fits perfect.. but i just bought this helmet and everyone is saying you gotta cut the oakley tabs... use zip ties.. well i did nothing to mine.. i just shoved it in there and screwed it on and it fits fine now that its on..

does the dial come off this helmet easily? or is the dial durable?

i had the helmet for a week and the dial came off. i got a free one back in the mail and that dial snapped off the first game. but for my other team we got them and it hasnt broken yet so its kinda hit or miss

yea man this helmets dirty its pretty durable and the vison on this thing is nuts. I would personally go with the triumph over the Pro7 just becuase the dial system on the back provides the best fit imaginable.

definitely choose the Pro7 over the triumph, the pro 7 has mad field vision and insanely easy size adjustment. and it looks cooler.

I got this for my summer team and its really comfortable, vented nice and it has good vision. I prefer the cpx but this is a good helmet from brine.

the 360 spinner in the back is awsome, loosen at half and when your not playing and you can feel the helmet.

does brine make a throat guard? if not that is there one that fits this helmet? cause its a hella sick helmet but if theres no throat guard theres no point in buying it for me

this thing rocks/i also play football and im use to helmet to helmet collision and this helmet works beautifully and it also is very light and come on it just looks sick!!!!

These helmets are top-notch. Comfort is excellent (allow for a week of 'breaking-in' as the interior molds to your head) and protection can't be beat. A tad heavy but when you combine the comfort, protection and excellent sight lines I'd be hard pressed to recommend anything else.

if i were you i would get the regular CPX w/ chrome mask. the only difference between the Titanium and regualer CPX is the face mask and the CPX chrome mask in my opion is better looking

i got this helmet for NESLL and there is this one pad on your forhead that is very stiff. once you play in it for a while that pad molds to your head. it is summer now and the helmet fits so good. i recommened this helmet for everyone.

I've played with a lot of different helmets over the years, the old 'square helmets' of the mid-late 80s early 90s, the first cascades, some of the newer cascades, but to me the Triumph is the best helmet I've worn to date. I love the adjustability features and the comfort is spot on. Field of vision is excellent as well.

Everyone, the visors are not referring to an eye shield or anything of the sort. It is the piece above the mask. If you get a white helmet, blue visor and blue chin, you will look like Duke. Look at a picture. Get it? It's not like a clear visor to cover your eyes. P.S. this helmet is sick

I have bean to the hospital three times this year for stiches and cincusions because I like to hit hard and my helmet suck. is this helmet going to keep me in the game and out of the hospital.

i like to hit hard to and i always get hurt cuz i have a sucky helmet. i just got mine and it is sweet. it fits sooo nicely and seems like it will protect me pretty good. i let you know once i throw some big hits and see how it is.

If you are getting concussions, that could end your lacrosse career. I would get this, it is very protective. I also got a concussion from hitting someone, but my chinstrap was a little loose and that's why. So that might help prevent that if yours is tighter.

Firstly, The general quality and soundness of this helmet is excellent is has an awesome feel to it, even when your just holding it. This helmet is simply Sexy Secondly, when you first put this helmet on it feels alittle weird, it doesn't fit your head yet. But after about 2 minutes of wearing it the interior will completely mold to your skull shape, and with the dial system, you get a perfect fit. I would be able to play games with no chin strap with this helmet (that is if they let me). Someone said that this helmet runs very small in size. It does seem that way when you first pull it out of the box, however thats the way it is supposed to be, and after you get it on, it will mold and push out of make room. The cage is also cool, and you have great visibility.

when i first got this helmet i was mad happy. Mad people on my team wanted to get the same helmet. This helmet is ridiculous. it looks got and it fits great

this helmet is so sick. the only disadvantage is that its really small so see if u can go somewhere to try it on.

i got this helmet right before my second game, it was tight at first then with some adjustments it was like a beanie on my head. I would totally reccomend this.

i play jv lax and i have never heard that you can put visors on lax helmets, how and where are these visors?

you can get oakley visors off of their website but unless you're in college, with a doctor's note, you can only use the %100 clear visor

i miss understood u. a visor goes over the facemask to keep out wind rain and stuff like that from getting in ur eyes

are you kidding.... the top thing. there jis the helmet itself, then the chin protector, then the visor.

this helmet is great for goalies, it has an extra long chin so it gives u more safty

this is the most comfortable helemet out if you couldn't see the face mask you wouldn't know you where wearing a helemet it also has a great few and is light

Two warnings for you guys. First, this helmet runs incedibly SMALL. If you have a big head, this thing is guranteed not to fit. I was gonna get one but could barely get it on, let alone make it fit right. Also, if you guys are in High School wondering about visors make sure they're legal first. I'm almost positive visors that aren't clear are illegal because the ref/trainer needs to be able to see into your eyes if you get knocked down/out (the rule is something like this). Just wanted to save you forty bucks before you go buy one.

heres the thing all visors are illegal unless you have a doctor permit saying that you can wear a visor for medical reasons

if someone wore a visor, like an oakley football visor, they should not be allowed to play lacrosse. If anyone came into a lacrosse store and asked for one, they should be lined up against the wall and shot.

actually clear visors(the only legal visor in hs) work well for goalies and face off speacialists. they help out goalies in muddy games when the bounce shots make mud fly up in the air. for those that face off, visors block dirt and rubber(art. turf) from getting in your eyes. they only downside to them is that they sometimes tend to fog up. but that happens rarely.

I like the triad xp better than this. This helmet ok, but I still think that the triad xp is alot more comfortable.

When i fisrts put this helmet on i thought it sucked but once you put it into the right place and tighten the circle on the back it is AMAZING! The circle on the back makes it feel like a headband around your head getting tighter when you tighen it. It is amazing get it you wont regret it.

i think they fit but its illegal to have a colored one because the ref needs to see your eyes if you get knocked out. Just throwing it out there to save you $20-$40 bucks

u can fit it in...but the only negative thing is that you have to use zip ties to hold it in...but i got a mirror visor and didnt put it in yet but my friend has his in alreadyy

you can but you have to cut the top oakley tabs off the top and i have one that i used over the summer and it gets fogged up really easly because its so closew to your face

Your all right and kinda wrong because you can put a visor on it but technically it must be clear so the refs can see your eyes. mirrors, amber, or really tinted aren't allowed

i pre-ordered this helmet in december n got it the day it was released...this helmet is so comfortable and has a precise fit...i havent went helmet to helmet with any1 yet so i dont know how protective it iss
