CPXR is way more comfortable and adjustable this one was kinda ehhh... PLus the CPXR looks a lot better.

Cpxr's are made with the same 7 tech as the pro7. It's made for smaller heads. if you are a goalie, definitely get the Pro 7.

my head was too small for this helmet! NOT ONE SIZE FITS ALL. cpxr is lighter and looks better. this helmet is a flow killer.

I can definitely tell you the CPXR is NOT lighter than the Pro7

its not one size fits all. its "theres one size of head that it fits, with a bit of wiggle room"

alright so the cpxr has the 7 technology but it also has better air flow than the pro 7 but dnt get me wrong the pro 7 has grat air flow. However the pro 7 is mad light wich is also a pretty big factor. In the end get the CPXR

DO NOT GET THE RAPTOR I think it just got recalled so DO NOT GET IT. I would recommend the CPXR because of its sick tilt.

for starters, the raptor is boss. however, i am returning mine and waiting for their new one to launch. and it was a VOLUNTARY recall, meaning if you have one its still legal to play with although you are advised not to. i love my baby and am sad to c it go. tear

one of the best helmets available! get it! the pads are a bit uncomfortable at first but once you wear it for a week or so it is really comfortable! great visibility and ventilation. Get it if you are playing high school lacrosse, dont risk a head injury

i just got mines and its pinching my temples alot so it hurts really bad after an hour of wearing it. any ideas? i tried loosening the two straps with the start screws or whatever.

this happend to me to brah after wearing it for a while youll get used to it

The helmet should have come with different sized jaw pads...mabye switching to the different size will do the trick

if you have a smaller head get the cpxr because it tighten up smaller but if you have a bigger head definetly go with pro7, i have a smaller head and i still have pro7. probs should have gotten the cpxr but i still love the pro 7 for pure comfort and vision, its just could be a little smaller thats all

Would a Pro7 with a Gold Face Mask, Old Gold visor, chin, and vents look cool? Or should I just stick with the Chrome Face Mask?

this is hands down the best helmet on the market, much better fit then the cpx-r, more protective and comfortable than the raptor, and blows the t2 and triumph outta the competition. well worth the money!

uv obviously never tried a raptor on my baby i dont even want to take off its like a protective hat with cushioning like a couch

This helmet is great. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. A great bucket with solid protection, strong build, light weight, and look really chill. It adjusts real nice to you noggin and from there it is supper comfortable. Get this helmet.

I just got this helmet it is sooooooo sick it is so comfortable too and it is way better than the cpxr.

this helmet is sik. i got a royal chin, royal chin strap, black shell and visor, silver vents, and a chrome cage. it is kind of heavy but really comfortable compared to like a clh2. i still love this helmet it is sooooo cooooooooolll

My spring team has a choice between a pro 7 and a cpx-r. Which one should i get?

pro 7 ranges from xs- xl cpxr from s-l but my guess is even tough they say that its wrong i use a pro7 and im only 12 so if that helps to show that it fits me and a pro

i have both the pro7 and the cpx-r. pro7 is heaver but gives better protection.cpx-r is lighter but is made from a cheaper plastic but still gives the same protection. both are great! but the cpx-r has more swag!

Ive kinda got a small head so i have to tighten it all the way, and when i put it on and buckle the chin straps it hurts the top of my head. Anybody having this problem or know why this is happening?

is there alot of play in the helmet when you have it on but unbuckled? it could just be you are too small for this helmet and are having to tighten it to the point its pinching the seven-tech cells through the padding onto your head, not sure how long ago you bought the helmet, but the CPX-R from my experience ran a little smaller than the pro7, maybe you could look into that...

this helmet is sooo sick. the tilt on this is soo nasty and its comfy. its just sux to go from this to a football helmet

definitely worth the buy the helmet really protects when you get a ball to the head or slashed in the head. Also it is better than the cpx r because your visor on the helmet cant break. Great for all positions!

i dont know if you can get it re panited but i spray panted my old helmet and its terribel if you ever get like cheadked or drop ur helmet it chips very easily my advice would just to buy a less expensive one for school like a cpxr or sumthin

The plastic the helmets are made out of are different than lacrosse heads and cannot be dyed. You could spray paint it but it would just chip off after a short while.

This helmet has amazing protection and is super comfy. A must buy for helmets.

Pro 7 is good.... but Cpxr is more confortabe and looks amazing.

Just ordered this can't wait for it but I'm not sure when it will ship and then when it well get to my house considering my house is in MA but also to clear up some things regarding Pro 7 vs. CPX-R. The Pro 7 is still the best helmet you can get. The CPX-R is a CPX upgrade with the Seven Tech which is a lateral energy displacement liner system, and an upgraded shell which is to fit longer heads and also has a better fit sysem which is the SPR Fit. All you do is clamp the two clamps togeather on the back an tightens the helmet. CPX-R is a one size fits all helmet along with the Pro7. The Pro7 has Seven Tech Liner and features a crappy fit system the PRO FIT which you loosen two star wheels and then move two levers back and fourth to adjust hed size from xxs to xxl. The Pro7 also has a Monoshell which is a visor and shell combined into one mold so it's better for goalies to say than the cpxr because the Pro7 depleats the risk of breakable peices but the Pro7s chin is still a seperate part(just to keep in mind). I hope this helps my opinion is that the Pro7 is the better bet because only of the Monoshell which really does help with ythe big hits but the CPX-R is still a very good helmet and the TI version is also a good but weighing in at 1.9 pounds. The Pro7 does not offer a TI although I think they should. I hope this helps because many people are driving me crazy and are getting this all wronge.

If it's a custom helmet it takes 2-3 days to make the helmet then get it to lax.com which then ships it. Thats why.

The Pro7 is by far the best helmet in lacrosse. It is insanely comfortable with no pressure points. Also, Cascade uses a unique padding called Se7en Technology instead of the usual hard foam. If you want the best helmet possible get the Pro7

This helmet is good, and looks sick, but if you are in under 6th grade or 7th grade, it will be too big. So insteaad get the CPX or CPX-R instead.

i would get your highschool colors. its either 1 year of looking dumb to middleschool kids, or 4 years of looking dumb to highschool kids. its up to you.. but it would be an easy choice for me

my friend got the chrome facemask and the second time he used it the paint chipped, and the actal metal underneath was more chrome lokkin/shinier than the paint that covers the metal

for this helmet u need a chrome cage and a mowhawk vent cals r nice but u dont need them if ur gonna get em get those instead of a mowhawk but i would recomend a mowhawk.

it will definently fit if you are in high school. there is a thing on the side called the ProFit sizing system that allows you to tighen the helmet if your head is smaller and if your head is bigger you can loosen it.

Ok the pro7 is way better then the cpxr and cpx because the cpxr has a retarted mohawk hump thing in the back of it and the cpx is just kinda outdated. i first really tried it on at the big city classic (i was 1 of the 4 kids with blue hair)and i loved the thing like i have the clh2 now and mine is gettin 2 small and a few kids tell me i should get a bigsize like a large cuz i will grow out but i found out it is a 1 size fits all. so bottom line this helmet is sik
