Much more protective and comfortable over my previous CLH2.
- jprado99 4/28/13 reply
get one while they last, once the new cascade r is out, the pro 7 will be discontinued :(
- d-day'98 2/14/13 reply
this thing is awesome. Its tough and just plain sexy.
- beefy123 2/02/13 reply
is this bigger than the cpxr? i have a big head
- Hillis_Lax 12/27/12 reply
Both would fit, but the cpxr is adjustable unlike the pro7
- LAXBRO21220 11/13/12 reply
this or cpxr. please reply quickly cause i really need to know!
- SwaggedLax18 11/17/12 reply
CPXR is way more comfortable and adjustable this one was kinda ehhh... PLus the CPXR looks a lot better.
- LaxLachie 10/30/12 reply
I'm 5'7 110 lbs with a small head, should I get this or the CPXR?
- hiimoscar 11/06/12 reply
Cpxr's are made with the same 7 tech as the pro7. It's made for smaller heads. if you are a goalie, definitely get the Pro 7.
- JackFlash 7/08/12 reply
I ordered an all white one, and its been in procesing for 3 days? do they have to assemble them? and does it take 3 days? wtf
- Barkley43 6/05/12 reply
This helmet i amazing. I upgraded from my clh2 and is is such a diff. Protective and looks cool too. Also more custom the cpxr
- snakemanthelaxer 5/27/12 reply
my head was too small for this helmet! NOT ONE SIZE FITS ALL.
cpxr is lighter and looks better. this helmet is a flow killer.
- LAXMAN#5 1/22/13 reply
its not one size fits all. its "theres one size of head that it fits, with a bit of wiggle room"
- Barkley43 5/15/12 reply
Does one size fit all and does it cost more for the chrome face mask
- maxlaxbro15 5/06/12 reply
Im 13, 5'5" and a half and 105 lbs, will the pro7 or cpxr be better for me ?
- hiimoscar 4/28/12 reply
Just ordered mine. Gonna have a hell of a time.
- Jlaxer66 4/23/12 reply
Its a PRO 7, does it really need an explanation. it is for someone with a slightly bigger head, than the CPXR
- Wondering Cat 3/29/12 reply
Is getting the pro7 over the CPX-R really worth the extra money?
- nesll22 4/12/12 reply
alright so the cpxr has the 7 technology but it also has better air flow than the pro 7 but dnt get me wrong the pro 7 has grat air flow. However the pro 7 is mad light wich is also a pretty big factor. In the end get the CPXR
- effd28 5/14/12 reply
the cpxr is lighter than the pro7
- reLAXinLAXER 4/17/12 reply
first off, it is not extra money if u dont get the titanium one. second off, the raptor is a premature baby compared to the pro7 in lightness so stfu
- Just reLAX bro 3/18/12 reply
what helmet for defense.
this, cpxr, or easton raptor.
It has to look the part two.
- superstar_midi 3/19/12 reply
DO NOT GET THE RAPTOR I think it just got recalled so DO NOT GET IT. I would recommend the CPXR because of its sick tilt.
- reLAXinLAXER 3/19/12 reply
for starters, the raptor is boss. however, i am returning mine and waiting for their new one to launch.
and it was a VOLUNTARY recall, meaning if you have one its still legal to play with although you are advised not to. i love my baby and am sad to c it go. tear
- ABro4Life 3/14/12 reply
one of the best helmets available! get it! the pads are a bit uncomfortable at first but once you wear it for a week or so it is really comfortable! great visibility and ventilation. Get it if you are playing high school lacrosse, dont risk a head injury
- need some help 3/08/12 reply
i just got mines and its pinching my temples alot so it hurts really bad after an hour of wearing it. any ideas? i tried loosening the two straps with the start screws or whatever.
- westsidelax61 3/10/12 reply
this happend to me to brah after wearing it for a while youll get used to it
- laxprodigy35 3/13/12 reply
The helmet should have come with different sized jaw pads...mabye switching to the different size will do the trick
- flohamedalbrosef 3/06/12 reply
how long does this take to come in? i just ordered today at noon so its been processed but how long
- svlacrosse2 3/04/12 reply
if you have a smaller head get the cpxr because it tighten up smaller but if you have a bigger head definetly go with pro7, i have a smaller head and i still have pro7. probs should have gotten the cpxr but i still love the pro 7 for pure comfort and vision, its just could be a little smaller thats all
- laxprodigy35 2/29/12 reply
Would a Pro7 with a Gold Face Mask, Old Gold visor, chin, and vents look cool? Or should I just stick with the Chrome Face Mask?
- Laxer_76 2/27/12 reply
this is hands down the best helmet on the market, much better fit then the cpx-r, more protective and comfortable than the raptor, and blows the t2 and triumph outta the competition. well worth the money!
- reLAXinLAXER 3/01/12 reply
uv obviously never tried a raptor on my baby i dont even want to take off its like a protective hat with cushioning like a couch
- reLAXinLAXER 3/01/12 reply
o and the visibility is sooooooo much better. along with the chinstrap
- sapoe 2/26/12 reply
haha easton raptor what a joke
- HTownLax18 2/20/12 reply
This helmet is great. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. A great bucket with solid protection, strong build, light weight, and look really chill. It adjusts real nice to you noggin and from there it is supper comfortable. Get this helmet.
- atlanticlax 2/16/12 reply

- D-POLEY PRO7 1/23/12 reply
this helmet is sik. i got a royal chin, royal chin strap, black shell and visor, silver vents, and a chrome cage. it is kind of heavy but really comfortable compared to like a clh2. i still love this helmet it is sooooo cooooooooolll
- Lacrosse_1235 1/20/12 reply

- Kmrowe21 12/23/11 reply
My spring team has a choice between a pro 7 and a cpx-r. Which one should i get?
- effd28 12/26/11 reply
pro 7 ranges from xs- xl
cpxr from s-l
but my guess is even tough they say that its wrong
i use a pro7 and im only 12 so if that helps to show that it fits me and a pro
- Cardenas 12/19/11 reply

- Lacrosse_1235 12/16/11 reply

- mteo11 12/11/11 reply

- laxprodigy35 12/11/11 reply
Which has better visibility/protection/durability this or the CPX-R? I play goalie...
- sflax05 12/07/11 reply
i have both the pro7 and the cpx-r. pro7 is heaver but gives better protection.cpx-r is lighter but is made from a cheaper plastic but still gives the same protection. both are great! but the cpx-r has more swag!
- VHLaxBro7 12/01/11 reply
Ive kinda got a small head so i have to tighten it all the way, and when i put it on and buckle the chin straps it hurts the top of my head. Anybody having this problem or know why this is happening?
- tomx28xnar 12/04/11 reply
is there alot of play in the helmet when you have it on but unbuckled? it could just be you are too small for this helmet and are having to tighten it to the point its pinching the seven-tech cells through the padding onto your head, not sure how long ago you bought the helmet, but the CPX-R from my experience ran a little smaller than the pro7, maybe you could look into that...
- zan54 11/30/11 reply
best helmet in market for sure right now
- Dpole4life32 11/18/11 reply
this helmet is sooo sick. the tilt on this is soo nasty and its comfy. its just sux to go from this to a football helmet
- bwplaxbro25 11/14/11 reply
definitely worth the buy the helmet really protects when you get a ball to the head or slashed in the head. Also it is better than the cpx r because your visor on the helmet cant break.
Great for all positions!
- lax4life99 11/12/11 reply
Is this helmet better than or worse than the cpxR, im getting this for a winter team.
- Lacrosse_1235 11/08/11 reply
i dont know if you can get it re panited but i spray panted my old helmet and its terribel if you ever get like cheadked or drop ur helmet it chips very easily my advice would just to buy a less expensive one for school like a cpxr or sumthin
- black_lax_playa845 11/06/11 reply
Does anyone know if its possible to get a pro7 like repainted or anything? I played on a travel team this summer and we got pro7s and i dont wanna buy a new one for my school team if i dont have to. Help me out bros!
- Tay-Sachs 12/03/11 reply
The plastic the helmets are made out of are different than lacrosse heads and cannot be dyed. You could spray paint it but it would just chip off after a short while.
- CaptCardboardbox 11/06/11 reply
This helmet has amazing protection and is super comfy. A must buy for helmets.
- laxbro426 10/27/11 reply

- jbjordan 9/22/11 reply
Pro 7 is good.... but Cpxr is more confortabe and looks amazing.
- WMA lax 9/16/11 reply
Just ordered this can't wait for it but I'm not sure when it will ship and then when it well get to my house considering my house is in MA but also to clear up some things regarding Pro 7 vs. CPX-R. The Pro 7 is still the best helmet you can get. The CPX-R is a CPX upgrade with the Seven Tech which is a lateral energy displacement liner system, and an upgraded shell which is to fit longer heads and also has a better fit sysem which is the SPR Fit. All you do is clamp the two clamps togeather on the back an tightens the helmet. CPX-R is a one size fits all helmet along with the Pro7. The Pro7 has Seven Tech Liner and features a crappy fit system the PRO FIT which you loosen two star wheels and then move two levers back and fourth to adjust hed size from xxs to xxl. The Pro7 also has a Monoshell which is a visor and shell combined into one mold so it's better for goalies to say than the cpxr because the Pro7 depleats the risk of breakable peices but the Pro7s chin is still a seperate part(just to keep in mind). I hope this helps my opinion is that the Pro7 is the better bet because only of the Monoshell which really does help with ythe big hits but the CPX-R is still a very good helmet and the TI version is also a good but weighing in at 1.9 pounds. The Pro7 does not offer a TI although I think they should. I hope this helps because many people are driving me crazy and are getting this all wronge.

I ORDERED MY PRO 7 5 DAYS AGO AND USED OVER NIGHT SHIPPING IT STILL HASNT COME. IS IT GOING TO TAKE THIS LONG OR SHOULD I BE CONCERNED?
- WMA lax 9/16/11 reply
If it's a custom helmet it takes 2-3 days to make the helmet then get it to lax.com which then ships it. Thats why.
- John Hopkins 8/03/11 reply
So i am going into ninth grade and i dont no wat 2 choose the PRO 7 or CpxR?
someone plzz help.
- russell1209 8/15/11 reply
ths looks way cooler and the cpx r has these annoying ear pads
- CrimsonCrafter 8/02/11 reply
The Pro7 is by far the best helmet in lacrosse. It is insanely comfortable with no pressure points. Also, Cascade uses a unique padding called Se7en Technology instead of the usual hard foam. If you want the best helmet possible get the Pro7
- Maciej 7/20/11 reply
My head is about 21 3/4". Will this helmet fit me well?
- gom96 7/11/11 reply
i was playing in a game with this on and pulled a muscle in my leg, i highly suggest getting a proton power instead
- smalax13 7/12/11 reply
what was that, it isnt a head its a helmet, and how does that comment even make sense
- brineclutchforever 9/17/11 reply
Dude i have this helmet and the same thing happened to me, except my left butt cheek cramped up so tight
- bluedevils712 7/11/11 reply
This helmet is good, and looks sick, but if you are in under 6th grade or 7th grade, it will be too big. So insteaad get the CPX or CPX-R instead.
- LionsLax4 7/06/11 reply
Our school helmets are royal with a athletic gold chin, and athletc gold visor stickers. can you say sexy??

I still have one more year of middle school ball. Our team colors are carolina and navy. But i feel that it will look stupid after one year cause the high school ( which gives out crappy helmets) colors are red and black. What colors should i get?
- nickmoskow111 6/11/11 reply
get a purple one with black mohawk visor and chin tht would b sick
- Sammy Becker 6/17/11 reply
i would get your highschool colors. its either 1 year of looking dumb to middleschool kids, or 4 years of looking dumb to highschool kids. its up to you.. but it would be an easy choice for me
- hammeside825 6/02/11 reply
i got this helmet and my underhand shot speed increased by 7.5 kilometers per hour... highly recommended
- rml1230 6/02/11 reply
this helmet is the best. its the best helmet out there
- laxin panda 5/28/11 reply

- chlax56 5/02/11 reply
ths helmets amazing. Its comfy and extremley protective. And u can get some mad tilt out of it
- purpletacos 4/30/11 reply
amazing comfortability, cant feel a think if you get hit, looks good with our team colors and chrome mask, and you can get great tilt
- vclax9 4/25/11 reply
my friend got the chrome facemask and the second time he used it the paint chipped, and the actal metal underneath was more chrome lokkin/shinier than the paint that covers the metal
- rainbowz 4/21/11 reply
for this helmet u need a chrome cage and a mowhawk vent cals r nice but u dont need them if ur gonna get em get those instead of a mowhawk but i would recomend a mowhawk.
- sapoe 5/21/11 reply
it was a tight fit but i managed to get it on ;)
- migitlaxer8 4/18/11 reply
this is a great helmet. it is way better then the cpx because of ts new design for protection also its very comfertable and its prety light. also the cpxr looks super gay...no ofense just in my opinion.
- purpletacos 5/01/11 reply
no doubt theyll fit, im about your size but a tiny bit taller and they fit a little snug just the way i like it
- superstar_midi 12/10/11 reply
it will definently fit if you are in high school. there is a thing on the side called the
ProFit sizing system that allows you to tighen the helmet if your head is smaller and if your head is bigger you can loosen it.
- CrunchyCactus15 4/15/11 reply
this is the best helmet on the market the cpxr is gay n the cpx is like the same thing but less reliable
- rainbowz 4/14/11 reply
Ok the pro7 is way better then the cpxr and cpx because the cpxr has a retarted mohawk hump thing in the back of it and the cpx is just kinda outdated. i first really tried it on at the big city classic (i was 1 of the 4 kids with blue hair)and i loved the thing like i have the clh2 now and mine is gettin 2 small and a few kids tell me i should get a bigsize like a large cuz i will grow out but i found out it is a 1 size fits all. so bottom line this helmet is sik
- smacgoalie8 4/13/11 reply
panning on getting this but im a goalie. right now i use a cpx. do you recommend it
- Laxin2852 6/12/11 reply

this is the description
It's released from captivity and loaded with performance. The SuperMono design uses the shell as a stress member to manage the energy from a frontal impact and also shifts the weight load back to make a superior balanced helmet. THE NEW PRO7 IS THE ONLY HELMET WITH SEVEN TECHNOLOGY LINER SYSTEM. The system laterally displaces energy from a direct impact, reducing the effects of G forces, a major cause of concussions. The ProFit sizing system makes the Pro7 one size fits most and allows for easy adjustments between XS and XL. The new Tungsten mask design opens up the view of the field. The Pro7 is color customizable with your team colors, immediately and with no additional charge. All Cascade helmets are made in the United States.
ARE U SURE ITS THE ONLY HELMET WITH SEVEN TECHNOLOGY AND THE NEWEST HELMET? NO THE CPX-R HAS SEVEN TECH. AND IS THE NEWEST
- sharpieboy550 3/22/11 reply
if the cpx is a little to small with the red pad. will this go smaller?
