MANUFACTURER SPECS
  • Easton’s re-engineered TALON BEAST Wood Composite is 20% LIGHTER and 50% STRONGER than the original Talon shafts (laboratory impact tested).

Authentic wood finish for the most natural feeling shaft in the game.
LAX.COM PRO-INSIGHT
This shaft is for D poles that like to lay the lumber. The Legend is super strong but weighs more like a Titanium. This is a hefty feeling shaft that is appreciated by stronger defensemen who want attackers to really know when the chop check is coming.

Dont get it - 4/13/13 reply

Black feet makes wood shafts too and personally I think there better and 1/4 the cost. So go with Blackfeet.
Great shaft - 3/08/13 reply

This is a GREAT shaft if you are a strong and heavy defensive player! If you hit attack-guys, they will fear you!
Great Shaft - 3/04/13 reply

I picked one of these up because i was tired of my bent titan classic. I must say Im in love, yes i play LSM but this thing is great if you can handle the weight. lays some serious lumber and forced turnovers come with ease. Oh and to settle the debate it can in destroy an h2, managed to snap a teammates this year with it. Hope that settles the debate
weight - 1/21/13 reply

What does this thing weigh? I can't find the exact weight ANYWHERE!

(no subject) - 5/08/12 reply

if your a goalie get a gait ice its super light it has ok durability but durability doesn't matter because your goalie.
(no subject) - 4/11/12 reply

My friend has destroyed at least 3 if not more shafts with this boss, ive seen him destroy a stx amp, warrior kryptolyte, and a wonderboy
(no subject) - 3/30/12 reply

I tried hitting Chuck Norris with this, but it caught on fire from the friction of his beard.
(no subject) - 12/26/11 reply

Should I get the talon beast or warrior Titan classic d pole they are both around same price but I cannot decide
(no subject) - 4/22/12 reply

this is heavier than the titan but probably a lot stronger and the wood gives it a neat grip

(no subject) - 8/21/11 reply

(no subject) - 9/01/11 reply

It's actually carbon composite inside with a wooden veneer.
(no subject) - 7/27/11 reply

great for killing somone arm on the field but if you cant handle the weight of it dont bother getting it but overall its ok

Worst shaft ever - 5/25/11 reply

I was using this shaft and a kid had a AL 6000 and he hit my shaft and it just snapped in half. If you have a choice dont but this thing. AL 6000 is way better than this.
(no subject) - 6/07/11 reply

hahahahahaha I have broken at least 5 shafts with the beast
(no subject) - 6/11/11 reply

Beast - 5/23/11 reply

I use the original beast from talon, not easton. It hurts a lot,but weighs i think like 6 pounds, i dont expect anything different from this
(no subject) - 5/22/11 reply

u would be better off going to your backyard taking a stick and taping it to your pole
dont get this - 5/21/11 reply

money grows on trees - 5/23/11 reply

money doesn't matter, this shaft will last forever
Need help - 5/18/11 reply

I.play LPM/base D and ive seen this shaft tear some alloy when it was the talon beast on youtube, so my question is should I.get this or the latest swizzle scandium.?
Yeeaahhh - 5/17/11 reply

To varify all this. Talon Lacrosse was bought out by Easton, yes the hockey and baseball company. I used to have this shaft when it was made by Talon. It was one of the best shafts i have ever had, almost impossible to break, somewhat heavy, but about as heavy if not lighter than the warrior Titan Classic. Very strong shaft, and very good shaft. Only thing to knock it is that it soaks in the rain, but it doesnt make your hands slip as a metal shaft would. Very good shaft. Worth the money.
best shaft ever - 5/16/11 reply

seriously... worth the money
(no subject) - 5/05/11 reply

(no subject) - 4/11/11 reply

ok so it's one of the most expensive sticks on the website yet it got 3's in grip, durability, and weight, can somebody please explain that
(no subject) - 4/12/11 reply

its only had 6 people give their OPINION on it. im not saying buy this but don't knock it till you try it.
(no subject) - 4/13/11 reply

It's probably just the jerks below hating on it. Also, this isn't the most expensive shaft on the site.
(no subject) - 4/24/11 reply

ya it is
(no subject) - 5/03/11 reply

(no subject) - 4/25/11 reply

Yes - 3/26/11 reply

This shaft IS the Talon Beast, just under a different name. I'm pretty sure Talon Lacrosse was bought out by Easton.
(no subject) - 3/20/11 reply

alright ive heard from numerous people that this is the TALON beast and easton just bought them out or some shit like that anyone know anything about this? but damn is this a rip off hardcore
(no subject) - 3/15/11 reply

Easton is a baseball company, who ever wants to blow 215 on a shaft that i can guarantee wont perform any better than my H2 can lick my balls
(no subject) - 3/16/11 reply

easton is a hockey company that wants to make money all year around and they make the best stuff
(no subject) - 3/20/11 reply

(no subject) - 4/25/11 reply

yo mama
(no subject) - 3/25/11 reply

This could probably snap your H2 in half pretty easily.
(no subject) - 4/25/11 reply

(: )
h2 - 3/29/11 reply

ive had an h2 for 2 seasons, i guarantee that it can pown the easton beast too and easton makes stuff for almost every sport
(no subject) - 4/01/11 reply

O.K, this is a stick with a wood veneer, and a carbon composite center, and the H2 is a metal shaft with thin walls. This thing could take the H2 down easily.
(no subject) - 4/12/11 reply

i bet it wont
(no subject) - 4/13/11 reply

Have you watched the videos of the Beast taking down a Dolomite, and other expensive warrior shafts? This thing is a tank.
