MANUFACTURER SPECS
  • Designed from the ground up, for today's evolving style of offensive minded players, The Hawk offers a high-pocket design coveted by the top scorers in the game. The Hawk is manufactured with pride in the USA and comes with an industry best 1-year warranty.

The laid back profile and lowered scoop keeps the ball tucked under the shooting strings when cradling and dodging for maximum hold. Additionally, it provides an optimal release point, improving ball trajectory vs. conventional offset heads when passing and shooting. The Hawk is universal spec and is legal for high school and college play.

Epochs exclusive dual layer architecture ensures The Hawk remains light and strong (durable) by removing material and weight from non-essential parts and increasing the strength throughout the essential structure. The trusted trestle sidewall is a proven design providing increased lateral, torsional and vertical compression resistance, in addition to overall stiffness.
LAX.COM PRO-INSIGHT
One of the most anticipated head releases for the 2015 season. Epoch has simply taken the high end shaft and mesh market by storm.. and we see no stopping that with this new release.

Our pros loved the pinched down throat and when we strung this up with Otter Mesh this puppy simply ripped corners. Our offensive guys loved the control and feel of this head and the stringing setup allowed either a mid or high pocket flexibility. This head will start making its way onto fields this fall and we will get a better feel for the durability (always a question mark with these new releases...) But from what we can tell this is the real deal !!!

Mid pocket - 4/16/15 reply

I heard this head is designed for a high pocket but i prefer mid pockets. I love what i have heard about this head and was wondering if this is a good head to get if I'm going to string up a mid pocket low whip type stick? Please help.
so good... - 2/17/15 reply

Honestly... I hate high pockets. Can never seem to get hold unless there is a ton of whip. Strung the Hawk with otter mesh exactly as specified on the Stringking website as a starting point and it was love at first rip! Never have a had a complete stick that I felt like I was completely connected to! The feel of the ball in the pocket was incredible and the release is sooooooo smooth! The only issue I have is where are all the different iq heads? I need 2 Hawks with a flex IQ of 8 or 9 for faceoffs. If yo uare a bigger stronger guy you can get by with the hawk for faceoffs but most youth players will not get the flex they need to dominate at faceoffs. My son now wants to sell off his two optiks for 2 Hawks if we can find the higher flex IQ heads. I would love to know why someone said these warp easy as this Hawk took a beating working on faceoffs last night for 2 hours and the shape is still perfect! My Lakotas get warped after maybe 5 to 10 faceoffs.
Which one - 1/15/15 reply

I play wing attack and can't decide between this,Warrior Evo 3x or the Stx super power maybe with a traditional or ECM

Non-offset - 10/26/14 reply

Just want to say I strung one of these up for a buddy and the feel of this lacrosse head is not one that is offset. Personally I cannot play with a non-offset head because you don't get a good feel of the rock. Just a warning to all those modern players out there, it may not have the feel you are looking for. Great company though and I expect big thing out them in the future.

That's the point - 11/19/14 reply

The whole point is that there is minimal offset. That's why the bottom rail is how it is.

check out @Vegas_Strings on instagram. When he gets his hey said he might do a full review on the head. Go give him a follow too! he strings traditional and mesh, and is very good at it.
New idea - 7/26/14 reply

This head is different from all the heads nowadays which is not something that happens a lot. They all seem to be remakes now.
