Lighter and stronger, Titanium enhanced 803 alloy results in Gait's lightest handle ever. Cryogenically treated to -310 degrees for extra strength and durability, this impressive shaft is complete with a new Ice finish.
this is the lightest shaft, but it dents pretty easily... if youre a middie i suggest this, attack i recommend vandal because you will be checked hard.
I play lsm and I just broke an ice that I had for less than a season I want a pole just as light but more durable should I get the scandium or another ice
hey, i used to have a gait ice and i loved it, but i traded it for a krypto pro at camp for some reason. anyways, i wanna buy a new one in black, but does it stay very black? or does it fade?
would any body be interested in purchasing a brand new gait ice goalie shaft in black. I got it a few months back, put it on my goalie head and hated the length and liked the size of an attack shaft bettr. I will sell it for $85 plus ship. if you happen to have an attack length gait ice in silver, i will trade you.
reminder this shaft is brand new, nevr played with just put on a head and taken off. No dents what so ever. Shaft is black and a 40" goalie length shaft
Insanely light, pretty durable (one noticeable dent) and feels amazing, I've used this for about 2 months and would never buy another shaft, i play attack and i use a Viper 2 which fits fine, recommend this to anyone.
This shaft is really light, but it shows dents really easily. That's not much of a problem unless you care about looks. The butt end is kinda hard to get used to and I wish you could take it off, but all in all, it's a good shaft. I would recommend this to any attackman/midfielder.
I play attack .. I use the Stx surgeon and the Gait Ice and I have to say this is an absolutely beautiful match up the surgeon is a little heavy not gonna lie but the I've is SUPER light and very durable
I just got mine in (black attack) and it looks different than it does in the pic. gait is around the same size but in different font and Ice is in large letters unlike the photo. The shaft itself is nicebut I wanna know if this is legit. Is this the new make or is mine fake?
yours isnt fake...its just the newer design of the gait ice...you problely got the 2012 gait ice...lax.com just haven't updated the photo yet so your fine bro
This is a really light shaft but it dents really easily. The first time I used was at practice and when we did 1 on 1's it dented twice. The reason I like it is because it's light and has really good mobility.
i wouldn't get this, its pretty light but it dents and breaks so easilly. I would save your money on the sci ti and get a krpto pro diamond. If ur looking for a really light dhaft look at the the tri kor alloys there the lightest shaft iv ever felt, but dont get the sub seriers; get the origanal kind they came out with...
I just bought a stallion, and im trying to decide between this and the stx sc-ti pro. price matters some but if its worth it im willing to pay. Which one should i buy? please respond
This, a brine swizzle scandium 2011, (or 2012), if he doesn't have one, or a stx katana. I'd pick this over them because of the strength and the weight.
Best shaft i've ever used. SO light. Word of advise: Check eBay. Got mine for 55 bucks brand new.
I would recommend getting rid of the butt though and putting a better one in.
The best color to get is the silver because it shows the least amount of wear and tear. Scratches show well on this shaft so silver is your best bet when it comes to a lasting appearance.
Just got a stallion and it doesnt fit on this shaft...if there are any other good shafts out there that you know will fit please let me know. Fall ball in 2 weeks.
try putting the neck of the stallion in hot water and the ice in cold water and then try squeezing it on if not get the stx scti pro its a fuckin crazy shaft
i played a season with this as a d-pole, its very storng, lightweight, and it hasnt bent at all, but it has gotten a tiny 5mm wide dent in it. im very brutal to this shaft, and its held up just fine. honestly dents dont do anything to it, bending does, and it doesnt bend
this is the best deal on shafts. this is teh lightes shaft i hav ever held, and it maintains strength unless you check it ridiculously, or mean to break it on purpose. i highly recommend it to all
I had the original Gait Ice for 4 years as my main attack shaft and it is still incredibly light compared to alot of shaft on the market right now. Also, i only has a couple of dings and dents in it and still remains strong. I doesnt have that annoying tacky grips that wears off. And if you really that kind of stuff, thean thi isn't the shaft for you. I recommend some light to medium taping. Especially at the bottom to middle area and some at the top, like right above where you put your hand to catch & cradle. This shaft combined with taping makes it easy to get your hands in the right place quickly, for any situation you might encounter.
This or krypto pro for a void lyte. I think this weighs less but is less durable than the kpro so im not sure which to pick but durability doesnt matter to much for goalie
