Does anyone know the exact weight of this head in ounces(unstrung)? Also is it really as hard to string as everyone else says? I would like to hear from those who have it or have used it. thanks.

void breaks to easily as you can tell the vault dont look amazing i would go back with the eclipse and wait and see what come out next year

aight well im not a goalie but i should be able to help. durabiltity shouldnt be a factor for your shaft since goalies dont usually get hit with shaft breaking blows. Any goalie head should do but from the post by blonypony i would recommend this head if price isnt a factor. So i would reccommend a Gait db803 cuz its mad light in a combo with this head. Thats a $200 combo, pretty pricey for a first stick but since youre looking at this head price prolly doesnt matter

this head is extreamly wide and has a larger saving area than any other head. in contrast, the head is a little bit heavier than say the eclipse, sentinel, or ODB. it wieghs about the same as a nemi but it is way bigger than the nemi. it feels about twice as stiff as the sentinel so it is amazing for groundballs and absorbing a 85+ mph crank. in my opinion i like this head a lot but knowing that other people have different preferances, i know not everyone will like it. you should still try it at least once though.

get the STX Eclipse. Its cheaper and its GREAT!! i have 2 of them, been using them for over two seasons, hasn't warped or broken. and it throws GREAT!! (especially if you string it right)

the STX guardien i very good for that.

the guardian is good but after 1 season it will bend and warp, it won't snap the ball anymore. I would go with the eraser, or eclipse. tey both good

its a goalie head how it is not illegal ive plyed with adam ghitelmans and it is very nice and totally legal!

This head looks like it has a very large save area, and is more round than most other heads but i think the stringing will be sketchy as is the case with many gait heads. The big reason is the transition of the position of the holes will make it hard to string well. Not a whole lot of curve on the head and the gentle backward sweep it does have may make throwing a little funky. Don't think I'd get it. Go eraser or eclipse

I don't know much about goalie heads, but I do know about stringing, and this (sidewall for stringing) reminds me of the torque except much worse. It could be string, but it's hard to get right, and basically impossible to get perfect.
