what is better for d pole soft or hard mesh

i strung a Proton Power with it two days ago and it works great! Before stringing soak it in hot water with some hair conditioner and then you can easily string it and stretch it to get a great pocket before the mesh hardens back up.

does this have 9 or 10 holes

okay i dyed my clutch red. the dye is dry and everything. but the red is rubbing off on my strings and sometimes on my white gloves when they touch it. is there anyway to like make the dye not rub off on anything? i died my evo pro black and it was fine

i have had rock solid mesh also before but i took the mesh but it under hot water or boiled water and put it into the boiling hot water pot for like 5 minutes and it softened up or if your just gpna put it under hot water put some soap on it nand work it around and stretch it out

i think what you are talking about is that the ball hits a lip of where the mesh and the head meet, the way to solve this is when you string the topstring push the top of the mesh toward the front side of the head, this will cause the mesh to stay right with the plastic instead of falling behind it

when i strng this mesh on my stx proton power, the extra mesh under the bottom lace didnt curl up.all of my friends extra mesh under the bottom lace curls up. why doesnt mine curl up and how do i get it to?

ok, my backup stick is a blue gait splatter with an xcalibur on it. I dont really like the look of my heads all white, idk why, but any ideas for some sick stringing/colors or dye jobs? I was going to just dye the whole head with the mesh n everything with it black, but i heard its easier for the goalie to see the ball. ok i have black mesh and it is the same but the only thing that sucks is that it is a lot easier for the goalie to see the ball in your stick and tell where u are shooting when u have black mesh instead of white

you can buy them on this site. go to string supply and then go to next page. youll see side walls. it costs 1.50 for one sidewall. You can also buy shooting strings on this site. They are under string supply and they are called throwstring. you buy them individually also

ive had this mesh for over 6 months and its made a nice pocket and everything but its also really stiff if you like your mesh to stay hard, then this is the stuff you want

I'm a custom stringer and I say u should take it off and run it under some warm water that will loosen it up a little but when it drys it goes back to hard

when i buy this stuff i throw it in the washer first. after, i just put it on my head while its still damp. then i make my pocket before it dries

is there a differnce in differnt brands of hard mesh? for example, does warrior brine mesh hold up longer than brine or what not?

brine mesh tends to stay hard only for a little while then soften up but still stay semi hard. warrior mesh is known to be very stiff and stay that way. im not sure about lax.com mesh or stx mesh.

I have a black juice with red mesh and black shooting string and black sidewalls. I'm thinking about a red head with plain white mesh since I'm a maryland fan. Also thinking about maybe a blue/semi-dark blue with carolina blue mesh.

i just did it and the mesh is softer now. good for more whip.

it is amazing. i had just strung my head and it had no pocket. i soaked it for fifteen minutes with warm water and conditioner and it increased my pocket by two inches

just get your mesh and run it under water and stretch it for 10minutes. my freinds tried conditioner and it gave them no pocket at all.

you can also use windex it works better

I've reviewed this mesh before, but I've gotta add something to what I said. Before, I praised the mesh, and I stand by that review, ONLY FOR LIGHT COLORED MESH. I have had the Carolina and the fluorescent mesh, and both are great. BUT, I strung up some Black mesh, and its like a completely different type of mesh, one that I don't like. Its almost rubbery...it gives very little whip with light passes, but take a shot and its like you've got fly paper in your pocket. If I were you, I would stick with the lighter colors. The Black that I've bought hasn't been good.

Before you string the stick make sure you streach out the mesh as much as possible, that way you dont have to use too much water and what not on the pocket, it will hold up better in wet weather, so when your all exited to use you newly strung you wont get caught with a illegal head or fire the ball into the ground evey time.

if you dont use water/soap it might take a little while. soap and water just speeds up the process thats gunna happen any way when you play; takes a little of the hard out of it to get a nice pocket

what i did and i have a really nice pocket was i played with it a whole bunch first like when i was watching a movie i just moved it around...then i took a pocket pounder and just kept ponding the same spot over and over agian until now the hard mesh is soft and i have a barley legal pocket right in the middle of my head

itst rly hard to break in wit out putting warm water and conditioner

but once you do condition and heat this stuffs pretty good. in a way, its good that its hard to break in without HOT water and soap, it means in games with adverse weather conditions you'll keep that pocket that youve worked so hard on. good stuff i think. if you're looking for something that will break in faster, check out the Warrior Player's Pocket mesh (basically Warrior's Hard Mesh)
