Soft mesh is only good with a certain string job

For all of u who don't know what to get either hard or soft mesh I recommend hard mesh that u could soften with conditioner therefore the mesh is soft and pliable but still durable like hard mesh

i would get waxy mesh. eastcoast mesh is very good, as well as ninja mesh. waxy mesh is good for every position, my lsms on my team all use waxy mesh, although it may be more expensive. it is durable, easy to string. i am a goalie and tried waxy mesh and i love it. and as far as a head get one with less pinch such as a proton power, or stx stallion. you may pay more but you will defenitly get your moneys worth.

yes its true that most begginer sticks come with soft mesh, but that doesnt mean its for crappy players. soft mesh gives you a whip and accuracy like no other. if its done right you can put the ball to a pinpoint location on an extemely right rope. hard mesh is more for people who want ball control and hold when cradling and want a quicker release on passes/shots. generally i would suggest hard mesh to midfielders, and soft to attackmen, but you need to test both out with your style of play and make sure its strung right. then make your decision

back when I first started i had soft on my brine rocket, therefore associating soft mesh with narps.. One day I ripped my hard mesh in my helix, needed a quick fix and put that same old raggedy orange soft mesh on my helix and wow. As much as I thought Id never say this but, fellow bros, the dawn of soft mesh is upon us.

I play in NCAA and I gotta say, soft mesh is totally under rated. If you string it right it has all the qualities of hard mesh with the hold of soft mesh. People always think its for beginners but buy a piece and try stringing it tight, its not bad

got a new head with hard mesh but i find it to stiff what can i use to soften it up a bit

try running it under hot water or putting it in the dryer with your clothes and some dryer sheets and just work it as often as you can till you get it to the softness you prefer

Soft mesh is the same price as hard. Now when you buy soft mesh and put it on your stick make sure you don't put it in the rain because it makes an illegal pocket. One thing is if you are a beginner you might want to get soft mesh to get the feeling of a lacrosse stick. On the other hand if you are experanced lax player you might want to get hard because if you have your stick skills down hard mesh will make sure the pocket is ok. Another thing is it's your choice and you might want soft you might hard but I have been playing for 2 years and used soft mesh now I use hard=)

Soft is good for middies that dont take much shots because the pocket moves back to its original placement after faceoffs. Also because IMO it passes better because it doesnt "grip" the ball when you pass (a.k.a whip)

definitely use soft mesh. ive tried hard mesh on my pole, and it feels and throws wierd. its also a LOT easier to catch a ball in most situations if you use sof mesh instead of hard. actually, i suggest, if possible, a medium between hard and soft. if you get som used hard mesh thats broken in, that would be best, cause somtimes soft mesh frays and wears down too quickly. as long as you are able to string it well it should be fine

I am abetter than average player who has a harrow stick. I use soft mesh i mean who wouldn't. Besides all the kids i know who have hard mesh has to get rid of it an a month because it stretched to much.

Hard Mesh is more for a harder shot (though not much faster) and it is really good when it is broken in. Soft Mesh is more for cradling.

Go with hard mesh...it last better through whatever weather throws at you and has a better pocket once broken in

many people have different oppions but mine is that if u want a stick with good control go with soft and if u want a stick that has an acurate shot go with hard but you will only get these results if the sticks are strung properly or by and experienced stringer and you guys/girls could be a little nicer ~.~
