You also need a top string and a pull string at the bottom depending on how you string it, but if you just buy a stringing kit it will give you everything you need

these are shooting strings, the ends have plastic around them like shoelaces so you cant get a spool and cut pieces off.

Most people use three. Either all strait across or 2 V's and the top one strait across, this seems to be the best way to do it.

2 V's and one flat across for max whip

1 v with 2 across for hold and whip

on my franchise I actually have 4 strings. 3 across the top with one row in between then a V (more like a U) down where the ball sits. I love this because that V makes it more acccurate and better handling.

i actually have 6 strings. this is really the way to go if you want maximum torque and accuracy, and if you want to be a true laxer.

hard mesh is an easier throw and may make ur throw/shot go a little faster but soft mesh makes u catch just about anything that hits ur stringing because it adjusts to it as it the ball hits it and u can get used to throwing with it. its also a little easier because u dont really have to break it in....for a beginner i think soft mesh is better for ur first stick

I'VE HAD THESE SHOOTING STRINGS ON MY STICK FOREVER AND THEY ARE STILL GOOD. i USE 2 ON TOP AND ONE IN A "V" SHAPE

I have been buying these strings and i love them, thing is i always buy the gold ones except for one time when i got maroon ones. The thickness was different, the gold ones were thicker and i prefer them. My question is if anyone knows what other colors are the thicker ones.

i usually use 3 shooting strings make them loose when u frst get the pocket then when the pocket breacks in u tighten the middle and top just a little so the ball wont get stuck on the top of the head and trow at the ground

i have an Eclipse. i use 12 diamond mesh and 2 shooting strings. i work a nice channel in my mesh and it throws AMAZING. best clears ever!! above my 2 shooters i like to put a piece of crosslace to give it a nice fast release. its a hard string for a beginner though...

It all depends on how you want your stick to throw and cradle. I have 3 and then 2 more making a a channel from the throat to the lip of my head.

if you throw fine with 3 then use 3. I've had pockets that only need one and then there are some that need 5 or they just won't throw right.

It really doesnt matter its just your personal preference, my friend had so many shooting strings in his mesh that the pocket was just the hole where there were no strings
