i like them. they have a good tradeoff between protection and comfort, when new they pinch the inside of the elbow a little bit but once broken in they can hardly even be felt on the field. they offer okay protection, what you would expect from a middie pad without any hard material. i bought them because of the fit- i am in between medium and large for every brand of pad i tried on but these in a medium are perfect once broken in (took about 20 hours of play)
