This is a mid level priced attack and middie pad with all the high tech features of the most advanced pads available. The Prime series arm pad features a thin plastic elbow sliver that anchors the foam padding above and below. These pads feel a bit more solid than a true defense elbow caps. Advancing defenseman and middies covet these pads for the combination of mobility and protection in the critical areas.

i like them. they have a good tradeoff between protection and comfort, when new they pinch the inside of the elbow a little bit but once broken in they can hardly even be felt on the field. they offer okay protection, what you would expect from a middie pad without any hard material. i bought them because of the fit- i am in between medium and large for every brand of pad i tried on but these in a medium are perfect once broken in (took about 20 hours of play)
