These are the most flexible and mobile pads I've ever had or seen. But the only reason they are so mobile is because they offer no padding. And if by chance someone hits you in the collar bone area, there is actually nothing there to protect you. I would recommend these for every defenseman, some Middies, and really tough attack because these don't offer much protection.

Well yeah. It's not like they have restrictions for pads for different positions, It's your body.

I just use stx rivals, with the plastic caps cut off and the arm bands off, theyre really light, and have ok protection

i don't understand why people are hating on these pads. these were made by a D'POLE for a D'POLE. these weren't made for people that are checked often. i bought these last year and they are awesome! super lightweight an comfortable. lax on broskies.

attack and middies can wear them too. we are not as pussy as you think

which shoulder pads should i get, the speed or the maybach liner?

I have the cell liner and for everyone that doesnt know if they should get these or the cells get the cells. these protect similar but the only thing i dont like is 1) these have random holes (not very protective) 2)the front collar and back collar come down way to far i understand its a liner but take a check there and tell me it doesnt hurt and ill be suprised and lastly 3) the sides overlap in the middle to me that would get a little annoying.

i destroy attackmen that wear these pads i teaches them to buy regular pads

How do these get such high ratings? They fit weird. They ride up like crazy. The protection is great as long as nothing hits you. I just replace these with the cell sp's. Much nicer.

okay ive wanted these for like a month but i need sumthing that is light weight and i can move my arms good so i can atchually shoot, i play attack and im joinging the highschool team,and i am getting the brine king II's and what sholder pads, comment back...ive been playing for 5 years...so yea

never mind, im not getting these any more becase im looking for somthing mobil so im getting the brine rhino pads cause its basically a t-shirt and i could lay people out either way

get the cell SP but not the liner. if you cut the big shells off the shoulder its a lot lighter than the liner but offers the same protection. it doesnt ride up on the shoulders either

not really, they are super wide and not too protective, i would get the cell liners before these

get them dude their sick. i have em and its not like getting hit really hurts and there great for mobility. the only issue is when u throw they ride up sometimes but itss fine. great pads.

im a midfielder on varsity and i get hit A LOT and i wanted something with mobility and just enough protection. i was thinking about these, the dynastys, or the lopro 2. can anyone teell me about these shoulder pads. i could really use your help and suggestions.

Get the Cells they have great mobility with a good amount of protection. If you take off the upper arm guards you barley even feel them.

How do these hold up when giving body checks to another player? I play D so stick checks wont be a big deal for me but I'm using old warrior pads with cut caps now and it hurts pretty bad when I need to lower my shoulder into someone. So any opinion on how these hold up would be great thanks!

these are just like yours cuz these don't have the shoulder protection... so think of that

this have to be the greatest pads out there they are lightweight, i took a shoot in the pads and i did not feel a thing. also when i run with the ball and get hit in the shoulder i do not feel a dam thing i love this pad so if you are looking for lightweight and good protection this are them.

i am an attack and done mind takin a hit or a hard poke check from a defender im used to it i just dont like when you can see the shoulder pads sticking out at the shoulder so do these stick out

not as comfortable as i had hoped (kinda stiff but maybe they just need to be broken in more) but probably one of the best liners out there especially for the price. make sure to not wear it backwards. both sides have velcro in the middle and the silver maverik logo on it but for some reason the back of the pads have the logo and the word maverik. curious as to how tight/loose other people wear these pads. do you tighten the straps and the velcro as tight as it can go? it seemed to be pretty uncomfortable when i did that.

i dont play player alot so i dont want to xpensive gear but when i do i end up running across the whole field anyway defense usually end up hitting me so do these offer decsent protection i dont need super protection like most pus*y* so are these good/ok?

nah, it's just overpriced. Overall maverick makes the best stuff. Not the best of everything, just that nothing it makes sucks...yet anyways.

ok im play d for junior high and i usually get away with elegal stuff like cross checking etc. will these give me fair enough protection if i body check or if an attacker wrap checks me. i dont think my parents will let me buy 100 dolar equipment yet.

i haven't worn it, but i have tried the first maverik speed sp and that was really mobile and has protection only where you need it, so if this is an improved version im sure its more comfortable and mobile and still protects where you need it. these look like perfect shoulder pads

if you get poke checked right in that uncovered area wear ur collar bone meets its gonna hurt alot. and these only cover ur shoulders so if an attacker gets these they may want some rib pads to go along with these.

what do you mean by that? need rib pads to go with this? these are rib pads? rib pads suck? or what and if ur thicking these are or you can use these as rib pads your really dumb and you shouldnt be honorable enough to play it homie biscuit.

im gonna go out on a limb here and say that he was saying if u were gonna use these than u might want to wear ribs pads as well. try reading slower...sound it out.
