Both are good, Proton warps easy while Lakota is much more stiff. |

If I where you I would buy a Nike CEO it is a great lacrosse head one of my favorites. But if you really want these two heads I would have to say Lakota |

I need to know which head is better the Lakota or the vapor. If this helps I have a stx surgeon 7075 shaft |
|
 | | - LXM PRO99 5/17/13 reply
The Lakota is one of the best heads for middies, the vapor is overpriced and they snap easy.. Lakota all the way |

Hey man I saw your question and I researched and didn't find any. Your best chance is getting someone to dye it for you |

By far the best head I've ever used. It has pinch but not too much. Anyone indecisive about getting a head, choose this. |

I love this head. It's strong so it won't warp easy, it has tons of sidewall holes so it's easy to string however you want. I had mine for two years and beat the hell out if it and it barely cracked the other day. I am definitely buying another one, no question. |

if you kept the clutch you can send it back on warrantee and get a different head for the same or lesser value |

Is this head good for faceoffs? Does it have good flex? I'd like to be able to pinch and pop with no fear of it snapping, I got the Warrior Emperor and it snapped the 4th time I faced off. |

The warrior blade is amazing for face offs |

This is my second Lakota but first time stringing it myself. Any tips on all around stringing? I'm a vet to the game but an amateur to stringing and am open to any ideas.
Thanks |

go to east coast dyes stringing database
|
|
 | | - pbuonbuon 4/08/13 reply
I know for a fact that if you go to the east coast mesh website and click on the learn to string section they use the Lakota as an example for most of their tutorials. |

 | - JesseMooch 3/23/13 reply
Its got just the right amount of pinch and lots of sidewall holes make it easy to string |

Not trying to be biased, but Nike has been killing the game in lacrosse heads lately. Plenty of stringing holes, and a great face shape. A little bit narrow for beginners though. |
|
 | | - cheesynachos23 12/12/12 reply
Nike has been killing it because STX helped make their gear. Although STX recently left Nike. Nike is rolling now so they were basically Nike's training wheels to get into the lax market. |
