great mobility without the hanging straps, good protection, dont use rib pads

I have scoliosis and my spine is messed up. I heard that 9k's have mad good spine protection. And also i broke my clavicle its fine now but its still pretty messed up. Should I get 9k's or G22's or K18 II's?

i got these and they were horrible the straps broke and the shoulder pad part in the game broke dont ggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttt these! they r now used as my dog's bed great for that.

well 22's r for ppl who play D or well bigger players so if your a bigger player than get 22's but theses are more comfy and less bulk

the G22s are way less bulky but i have the 9Ks and they are really nice they have great protection and are very flexible to move in

Besides the design, what's the difference between the 7k's and the 9ks?

more or less none. the 9ks have a little extra bits here and there as well as this spine protector. but its nothing major cuz if u get hit from behind hard ur still screwed.

you dont really need alot of protection for D i know people that were the smallest shoulders they an wear legally

I don't own a pair, but not really the best pads for d. If you just started out D or lacrosse i would start with cheaper shoulder pads like hitman or something, but if you have played for awhile n play high school i'd go with liners. Hope that helps

i was wondering if these pads would work for me? im looking for lighter pads so i can move quicker but im also pretty small but also play for high school lax so the kids are not that much bigger than me (about 5'8") so would these pads be a good idea for someone like me to use? should i buy them? if not which would be best for someone like me?

9k's are very protective but kinda bulky and heavy, i would go with the G22's, and your not small, im a 5'1" freshman and play varsity, im small

idk what size 2 get. i just turned 13, but im huge. about 5'11 and 160lbs. idk if large is not gonna last or if xl will b 2 big. help plz.

First off, no you're not huge... but get them in large.. they will fit and they will not be too big so they will protect you and at the same time be very light and comfortable.

Yeah Large is like 6'2 like me and larges are a good bet.

these are sortof overkill for D. I play LSM and theyre alot more than I need but nice anyway.

These shoulder pads are sick nasty yo. have them Great padding for bady checks and stick checks! dont feel the metal of the shaft or the metal of the facemask at all on your shoulders, chest, or forearms!!!

i play attack and also if i take off the upper arm pieace are they still sufficient protection

the king looks better but this looks like it has more protection but is also $10 cheaper. i need serious help!!!! Anything is better than what i have.

the king looks pretty cool. Brine seems to be coming out with better pads now. I've never tried them on tho so i'm not sure how they feel or if they're low profile. Try em on if you get the chance but I haven't been disappointed with my 9K's

I have the ones that were made when they were still RBK, but there's no difference. These pads r freekin sweet! I play attack and these can take a hit. I love how the shoulders are multiple pieces they're really easy to move with. and under the shoulders is some tempurpedic pillow type stuff that forms to your shoulders. I play middie sometimes too and they work great for that also. they arent to bulky and they aren't too heavy. great buy!!!

These are nice the back of them looks amazing but your always wearing a jersey anyway and there are only two other diffrences the bi-cep pad which I don't wear anyways it restricts to much movement and the price is the only other diffrence not recomended unless you feel like spending a little extra cash for a little bit more of a look.

My bro has the hitman 8.0 and trust me they ere not that great or good for that matter. They restrict way to much movement which effects passing shooting and catching in some situations. Unlike the Reebok 9ks they are sick deffinetly get these!

Are thes good pads for defense?

if you play D you should take advantage of the fact that you can wear smaller pads. You can try these because these pads are great, but also, maybe consider the maverik SP Liner, or the STX Shogun Liner. I think Gait has one too, but they are good because they are small, and easy to move around in. Then again, if you tend to truck it up the field, and are afraid of getting wrecked, you could always use these.
