bad because they arent very well pinched and you can lose the ball alot when you cradle and catch i am getting a better one called the duece i recommend the stx duece to every dpole

well its an ok head for face offs, d-poles and begginers but it has terrable accuracy and the bottom part that attackes to your shaft breaks aso it makes it very wobbly. so deppending on your possition and if your a begginer its not terrable for the price.

i have this head w/ a mav wonderboy shaft (amazing shaft) and it totally diminishes the power of the shaft. its heavy, but its good for beginers. ditch the soft mesh and get some hard mesh and it improved it drastically. good buy for the price. i sometimes use this with my d-pole and it works excellently

this was the first head i ever got. a little while ago i found it in my garage, pinched it, and now it works great. pretty good head overall

ok, well when i first got this head it was ehh.. but ltr on i dyed it, pinched it, restrung it wit new hard mesh and put it on a 7050 2 degree crank shaft an it works lik a charm.. its stiff but yet fexidle at the same time.. i play mid for HS Varsity an things get rough.. its a good buy in my opinion for ur moneys worth but id jus get it if ur an intermediate player who is jus gettin used to the game an wants to hav fun..

This head came with my d-pole and it sucks. IT NEEDS TO BE PINCHED. And the mesh that comes with it is horrable, as soon as it touches water it shrinks and takes forever to strech back out.

if you restring it its not a bad head. if you want it pinched pinch it its not that hard to do.

Well no i have 1 of them pinched alot to look like the pinch of a duece(own that too amazing!) but it is nice im getting it died orange and it is great for faceoffs just make sure u dont pinch it too much or its illegal if it is then just dont tell anyone XD

i bought this head last year for my at home stick paired with a stx steel and it was ok. i talked to one of my friends about pinching and he said it was easy so i gave it a try. i now have my AV8 looking like a Kannon and it is one of the best heads i own(comparing to a warrior revo pro and a STX primer. all in all it can be good with hella pinch and quality stringing

i miss my av8. i had it on a k-pro. super pinched and it was amazing on faceoffs. sadly it broke last night in the FIRST faceoff of the game. it was about time tho. i was about to make 2 years with it. the bottom right sidewall snapped. i guess is back to my ILLEGAL answer now.

blazing hot plastic with no offset makes this head great.This head is for the expert player only. it shoots so great and breaks so easily.i WOULD RECOMEND IT to all mll players but to buy this head for all of the players might be too much out of the teams budget. get this head, its super expensive but its worth it. remember you gotta look good to play good.the only other head as good as this is the warrior punisher ,but thats 3 bucks cheaper so its not as good.

Last Year we Started the first lacrosse team in my city and i used an al pro 6000 and an av8 i scored about 18 goals in like 9 games so i was pretty good i guess but this is good for passing but when you break it in keep the sooft mesh its an easier starter head

its a starter head we can all agree on that and i lined it up with the g22 head and it is the same face shape believe it or not the only thing about this is the stringing holes are probably not ment for restringing so its not the easiest head to restring

about the stringing. thats why i had my dad widen the holes a little, add more holes, and then i pinched it. now mine looks like a voyce. i strung it up, cut a k-pro pole i had nd now i have a great backup in case anything happens to my answer.

this head is amazing, with the right pocket it can do wonderfull things even for middies that faceoff all the time like myself. i have played with onset heads that have no pinch at all and have a very shallow traditional pocket. if you can play with that you can play with anything. your stick shouldnt matter

its cheap, durable, and an all around good defesnive head. its pretty wide which is good for knocking down passes, and great for poke checking,. if it bends just bend it right back into place. totally worth the 24 bucks.

I used this as a starter stick and i recently strung one up for a new kid on my team. Think Proton+ made out of more bendy plastic. Its a good head, easy to pinch, although i've never done it personally, and re-stringing it isnt too hard.

Listen, this head is basically a cheaper version of the proton. It has the same pinch and the same offset. STX just makes it cheaper so that the newer players will be able get into the game instead of dropping $90 on a clutch or something. THIS HEAD ISN'T BAD. While I would not suggest it for college, it would certainly work for middle school and below, and maybe even some high school.

if you are good at baking, pinch the bottom, and widen the top, makes a pretty good head. only complaint is that there arent many options for stringing and the ball stop at the top of the shaft is crap.

I hit this head against a cement floor as hard as i could and it barely bent. it isnt brittle either though. Other than that it's a good backup but nothign more than that.

got one of these on a brine ignite d pole for messing around with. its cheap and its good for a first stick

pinch the head to however much you want it, then tie it off with shooting strings, then boil it for 15 minuets, if it didn't work tell me

pinch to desired width, tie off wit shooter, put in oven at 280 degrees for 10 min then in fridge for 30-45 min worx great wit any head!!!
