Could be better... - 3/07/13 reply

I've had this CP for about a year now, and I'm very indifferent about it. First of all, it offers great padding. I could get drilled right in the stomach and not feel a thing. Also the versatility of being able to remove the shoulder pads and hip pads can be very helpful since it honestly looks stupid with those on. However, with that being said there are some negatives. First of all, it makes you look at least 50 pounds heavier. The double chest pad layover design is very protective, but it gives you the appearance of having a huge beer gut. Secondly, it leaves at least a good three inches exposed from the top of the pads to your throat guard. I've taken four to the throat because it doesn't cover my chest completely - and after taking the fourth shot today I've started looking for a new CP. All in all, its a great pad, but there are some flaws in the design
STX Agent Chest Protector - 6/18/12 reply

This is what I'm using right now, and it's really great. It's pretty low profile and still gives you great protection. The fact that you can take certain things off is great. It gives you a sort of customization feel to it. However, I did have to take the shoulder pads off. Otherwise, you look kinda dumb, especially if your uniforms have sleeves.

this chest protector has very high protection and even though it looks bulky its not, shoulder pads are made of hard plastic which bounces off the balls like nothing, they don't really get in the way but the bottom part and the shoulder pads are removable

when are they getting mediums
(no subject) - 3/23/11 reply

I'm new to lacrosse, and I don't really know what's for goalies, or defender type people etc. What is this chest pad for. is it "usable" for everyone playing or a certain player....

baseball - 1/30/11 reply

don't chest protectors work exactly the same as a baseball catcher's chest protector?
(no subject) - 8/29/10 reply

is this jest protector big? im about 6-4 280 dose any1 think it will be long enough?
(no subject) - 3/16/11 reply

Jesus you're a 6'4" 280 lb goalie?!
(no subject) - 4/11/11 reply

They need to pull you out of the crease and put a d-pole in your hands.
(no subject) - 5/08/11 reply

Haha dude I'm a 6'4" 170 lbs. goalie!!
(no subject) - 8/19/10 reply

did anybody find this pad bulky??
CHECK IT!!!! - 6/25/10 reply

Alright so i have had this protector for almost 2 years now. Ive tried using other protectors and they are just not as good. This is freaken amazing....if you take off all the exra pads that velcro off ots light, flexible and very protective. The best combo of protection is this and the warrior goalie toolbox. Highly suggest it. doesnt slow you down at all. its like wearing one of those little kid chest pads with the protection of a hardcore big padded chest pad. Take it from me.....get this

Im 5' 3" and 100 lbs will a small fit?
Maybe - 5/24/10 reply

im 4`8 and i wear a small i think u should try a medium
Reebok 9K - 2/01/10 reply

This pad is horrible compared to the 9K. The 9K gives more protection and is for the better players. It is more protective, yet around the same weight. On most Websites the 9K is 125$ on here it is only 79$(i think), while this is overpriced on lax.com.
Which ones? - 2/01/10 reply

Should I get these, the Reebok 9K's or Warrior PC 7.0? I'm a senior in high school planning on playing in college.
(no subject) - 5/17/10 reply

PC7
idk - 5/25/10 reply

i have these and i took a shot to the shoulder with the caps on and it hurt really bad and i play 5`6 lacrosse but these have awesome mobility and great weight but idk i havent really taken a shot directly in a shot in the chest or the belly
probaly better off buying a... - 1/26/10 reply

your proablly better off buying a bullet proof vest with this piece of steal. looks like one of the chest proctors your mom buys for you when you just start off; looks and proablly feels like your the tin man. good luck saving shots while looking like a transformer.

the best - 12/06/09 reply

this is the best goalie pad ever!! It is very protective and light-weight. THE BEST
Amazing - 12/14/08 reply

Great protection. The two piec stomach is awesome, good for low shots. The shoulder caps come off. Barely feel anything when I get hit. Really comfortable.
