I had a friend bust this same stick in a practice by getting checked, I also heard that almost every player in my area that had this sick has gotten it broken.

- Crabs lacrosse18 6/27/14 reply
I am 5'10.5 and shoot 89 as my fastest shot, schools I get this shaft. Btw I'm 15
- iiien 6/27/14 reply
Look,I shoot a 85 with my vapor, and I shoot a 95 with this, so yes it does make a difference. I'm also 6'2 250, so if your a Lil guy, it's not going to make a significant difference.
- WooLax8 6/12/14 reply
I think I should get the alliance 60 but on the stx web page it says it has a low durability I want a shaft that will last should i get the 85 or 60 I'm 91 pounds 5'2
- makaveli619 6/02/14 reply
It doesnt matter how big you are or how hard you shoot. This shaft is for advanced players. collegiate level, high school varsity. if you have to ask what shaft you need to get then the answer to your question is "not this shaft". You kids these days are all worried about the gear you have. it doesn't matter what you play with it's how you play.
- Rocker731 4/24/14 reply
Ok guys, if you are in high school, shoot pretty quickly and play attack then get this stick. Not the 60.
- guest 3/19/14 reply

I'm 5'0, 90 pounds, 12 years old, and can rip mid to high range 60s, what alliance handle should I get?
- Laxer3291 11/05/13 reply
I'm 5 foot 70 pounds and shoot high 50's to mid 60's should i get this or the new alliance 60
- Jackberd 1/02/14 reply
I would go with the 60. Thats what I got. I shoot high 60s
- laxbro20 10/15/13 reply
I am 5,1 12 years old and 97 lbs I don't know how fast I shoot but I know it's not slow, should I get the 85?
- laxmiddie _E_S 18 9/26/13 reply
Don't get this shaft it is a 4 out of 10 on my scale the grip wears, its heavy and colors fade. Also it is very price the only reason I got one is because I got it for free from my friend.
- Lax bros 6/06/14 reply
dude if this shaft is heavy to you u shouldn't even be playing lacrosse!
- max555 11/05/13 reply
haha someone needs o fix their timer
- mundorf fanatic2 8/08/13 reply
Does this thing have grip on it. If so is it a full sandpaper grip that goes all the way down or is it really grippy all the way down.
- mundorf fanatic2 6/30/13 reply
Do you really need a 60 mph shot? I got 58.7 mph, so I'm like right there, but my main question is just whether or not your shot speed really matters with this.
- ianian003 6/13/13 reply
im 13 4,10 83 lbs and shoot 66mph both hands, am i good?
- lyles21 7/03/13 reply
66 mph is not really a fast shot. But your speed of shot doesnt make you good. Its your accuracy when you shoot and your stick skills that make you good. I shot 81 but I need better stick skills to be amazing
- Calaxer12 8/20/13 reply
WHAT im 13 6 foot 170.... 80 mph. Shot speed doesn't mean your good though
- Blakebrawer26 6/10/13 reply
Is this shaft grippy like scandium pro grip or slick like a krypto pro diamond need answers thanks
- ZachB 4/28/13 reply
This shaft is awesome. You can feel it bend in your shot. It has nice amount of grip to and is much lighter than my old stx swizzle scandium. Bought and old one in black from my friend. The paint was a little chipped but it had no dents and he had got it last summer and he plays on multiple teams all year round. From my experience, it does not dent. Just ordered another white one for my new evo 4 x I just got. If you are in middle school or high school you should get this. If you are in high school and you have a very hard shot get the 135. And if you play college I don't recommend the 160 because I heard those don't really bend at all. The only way you can break this shaft is if you snap it from a really hard shot. Please reply if you have any questions.
- ebslax19 5/19/13 reply
ZachB should i get this or the sci ti surgeon? cant decide
- ianian003 3/30/13 reply
the best head on the market right now is the rabil x. It is perfect and you can string it really easily.
- FuZe Lacrosse 3/01/13 reply
Will this shaft dent? A lot of people have told me it can and a lot say it can't, it can only break. Someone just tell me straight up if it can or can't
- JCotty 6/07/13 reply
It doesn't dent but it does chip. I have one and the chipping is very minor where it is chipped. Its pretty much just a thin piece of the outside skinned off, nothing that affects your play at all.
- BO$$Lax7 2/24/13 reply
I have this shaft and its amazing, and yes the flex makes it more accurate a you get more speed.
- Bradyy98 10/19/12 reply
If im gonna get a super power what Stx shaft should I get to go with it. I play Middie and attack and can shoot high 60s
- LaxBro4Life1243 8/06/12 reply
I am a middie and i also sometimes play attack i slash alot and i am thinking of getting this. i am 5'2 and shoot upper 50s lower 60s. should i get this? also does it make your slashes hurt more?
- Jaimen Laxstar 12/31/12 reply
IF you slash alot i wouldnt, but if you check alot then it gives you more whip in the swing
- sapoe 7/16/12 reply
I am a very physical attackman, i slash and get slashed a lot and i bought this shaft thinking i could get my shot faster and have a durable stick. the shot faster was true and i did always feel the stick flex but in my 4th game using this stick i checked a d-pole and it broke in half. Luckily you get a 60 day warranty with this
- sapoe 7/24/12 reply
#Edit# 6 month warranty not 60 days
- jmurd16 6/09/12 reply
the alliance is a great shaft i have it but its a little heavy
- laxmania.com 6/06/12 reply
what is the best stick under $140.00 for a attack man. Planing to get the super power
- fuyfygfhg\ 6/22/12 reply
get a stx force, maverick H2, gait ice, or a scandium pro
- iplaylax420 5/29/12 reply
i am not really sure how fast i shoot but it doesn't seem slow.. even if you are pretty strong would this be good or would i be better off with the 135...
- jonnytsunami 5/28/12 reply
If you shoot under the mid 70's range, you should get this over any other alliance.
- Chief middi06 5/08/12 reply
i play middi and im 5'6 and i rip low 70s high 60s what shaft should i get the 85 or 130
- get the 160 5/06/12 reply
alright i shoot 94 and im 15 ..last year i could only shoot mid 70s low 80s ..if you attack get the 85 for accuracy and feel..middies get the 160 for power and ..in the end it doesnt matter what stick you have but you have to have great technique.
- sapoe 5/02/12 reply
is the grip good on this or am i gonna find myself putting tape on it?
- OHLaxerBro 3/25/12 reply
if i shoot high 50's to mid 60's is this right for me plus i play attack and am a finesse/power player not stronly either one which alliance is best for me?
- lilshizzit5 4/30/12 reply
your 5'8 and only shooting the 50? im like 5 3 and i shoot mid 60 lows 70.. maybe you should hit the gym
- ULTIMATE LAX KING 3/08/12 reply
i was at my lax practice and a kid had this this shaft was covered in dents but not smal ones huge ones i don't think it that strong
- laxbrobroKP 6/03/12 reply
If it dented it would break. Composite and fiber material cant dent it is not metal. It rarely breaks . Your thinking of the wrong shaft
- jimmyg56 2/19/12 reply
im looking for an unbiased opinion for a new shaft i already have a super power ive tried it out and i love it. but i need a shaft, i went from pole to x attackman, im not looking for lightness but something that wont dent easily and wont snap or shatter. any answer would be appreciated thanks.
- karate7195 4/19/12 reply
its light and cheap, had it for 2 years and hasn't dented
- wolverine53 5/27/12 reply
the Easton stealth scandium is great, ive been playing with it for 2 years not one dent and it hasent bent a lot and its great for the price
- cristylw 5/29/12 reply
Mine has at least 10 dents. this was my second year with it
- sleepyheadlax99 12/16/11 reply
Im 13 im an attackman not that fast but a pretty good shot and with some speed and I dont know witch one i should get
- laxbro001 1/31/12 reply
takes less pounds of force to bend. you'll get more snap on your shot
- hockey145577 12/11/11 reply
im 15 and am 5'5' and 120 lbs i shoot upper 60's lower 70's it the 85 right for me im more of a finesse player with in close shots and speed dodges?
- God of Flow69 11/11/11 reply
Amaziong shaft, adds tons of power and snap on shots and feeds! However, if you buy the wrong flex its going to blow. If your like 18 and bench 250, the 85 probably isnt for you. Oh yeah, and shafts dont have whip haha.
- ministuk123 10/26/11 reply
I know the shaft is very expensive, but my friend's dad came up with the technology for this shaft, and i used it last summer. You can really feel the shaft bend, but it is very durable and will last you longer than most other shafts. This shaft is Especially good if you are a pole or LSM
- TizzleSTX 10/27/11 reply
Sorry bud this shaft isn't offered in a pole. These are short sticks only right now since these FLEX levels help your offensive skills
- TizzleSTX 10/26/11 reply
Guys, this shaft does not add or take away whip. This shaft ADDS power, snap, precision and ball feel.
- ERay 12/29/11 reply
does in affect the speed of release
- cameronkrazy 10/21/11 reply
I have it and its not my favorite. i didnt consider it extremely light, but it had good feel, but decent grip. compared to the sc-ti and it added whip for me, my shots were way off compared when i switched to my gait ice. i think i should have gone with the medium one instead i wish i liked it better because its a really great looking shaft and cool technology
- 1114 10/17/11 reply
this shaft does take away whip, i won one of these, the 135, at a kyle harrison camp and it takes away some of the whip
- ptechlax69 10/15/11 reply
because of the "flex" it takes away whip which can be a good or bad thing. its extremely light and i have no clue how durable it will be
- ptechlax69 10/19/11 reply
it takes away whip cause it flex which makes it release later in your shot. good try though
