does anyone wanna give me the pros and cons between these and the brine messiahs? im trying to decide between the two. I have the old versions of the assaults now, and love them
just got these gloves. soooo nice. not to stiff so i didnt really need to break them in too much. they have a good balance between being lightweight and protective, and they have a great grop while still being breathable in the palm
got to contact nike, theres no site or anything. we tried to get those at iowa but i guess they only let certain teams do it. they're pretty exclusive with who they let have custom vapor elites
These gloves are pretty nice. Just picked a pair up yesterday at a local lax store for $100. I had a choice between these or the Rich Peoples which were also on ale for $100. These gloves have great protection and look really sick. The only problem I have with these is that the fingers are a little long but other then that they are fantastic. The palm are breathable as well which is good because I do a play a lot of lax in the summer and in Texas the summers are brutal, around 100-110 degrees every day. In summary, these gloves are sick.
I got these gloves these gloves earlier this week and i have to say that these are so sick. I have not used them in a game yet but they seem like they have a good amount of protection on them. The only problem i am having is that they slide down a bit too much when playing and the palm begins to wrinkle up abit, probably just need to tighten them. overall an A-
the thumbs are kinda small on these. for goalie i would prefer a brine glove because of the kinda thumb they put on there gloves. or you could cast the thumb on these.
Should I get these, the Macdaddy 3s, or the k18s.
I play attack, sometimes goalie, and basically all positions so I need ALOT of protection and flexibility. Any recommendations???
idc what u say. a UNC lacrosse player told me that nike owns STX. this is all i could find:
They have signed a developmental partnership. STX has agreed to make their stable of lacrosse stars available to Nike as well as help with the research and development side of things. In turn, Nike Lacrosse gains credibility, a bunch of guys to endorse their products and as is the case with places like Hopkins, Cornell, Cuse and apparently UNC now, major NCAA programs to launch their products. This was really a necessity for both parties. Nike lacrosse would not be nearly as sucessful as it has been without STX's innovations and STX would be hard pressed to compete the with New Balance's two headed monster of Brine and Warrior without other sources of capital.
I have the K18s 2, these gloves will last you an Ice age, they fit tight though, but not to the point where you cant move your fingers, i would say its like under armor for your hands, and its got a strip leather on the palms and index finger for supreme grip on any shaft.
i have these and they are awesome, very comfy, and protecive i use them for goaile and feild, best gloves evar!!! nike vapors over rated same with kings get these bad boy
these.. ive had both and the assaults are by far the best gloves ive ever had.. so if you're thinking about getting these, don't think.. just by these. you wont regret getting these.
a kid on my team has these and we would do this drill where we had 2 kareoke while hitting each others bottom hand and my friend in my team would hit so hard and no one would want 2 do it with him so the kid with these did it with him and he said he couldnt feel it
i have these and they r probly the most comfortable and flexible glove out there all college players use these vapor elites or king 3s but if u hve big hands definetely go with these cuz the king 3s run kinda small and these are the same thing just more flexible than the nike vapor elites btw i can literally squish them into a ball its crazy
I tried these gloves on at Sling It. They have amazing flexibility to them and they are incredibly lightweight. However, they do all that while sacrificing protection. Perfect for a D-Pole like me. Overall: awesome glove.
just got these and im loving them they feel amazing and give me as much protection as my maybachs which are ridiculous gloves...highly recommend these!
These gloves actually do have a cuff!. It is similar to the maybach or nike vapor elite cuff and is attached to the glove from the top of the cuff. These do not come as high up on your arm as you think. Very good gloves I would recommend over most other gloves except for probably any of the king family and maybe something else.
I ordered these for my friend through ebay, because he doesnt have one, anyways.. They are a tight fitting glove, especially around the top of the hand, but they are extremely comfortable. great flexibility, and great protection. I whipped a ball at him and he put his hand up in reflex, it hit the back paddding, and he was surprised it didnt hurt at all. I still like my k18's better though.. Honest review
goto play with these a bit, they are AMAZING, the cuff is there they are long but even the thin pieces that make up the cuff are very protective not to mention they move amazingly nothing bad here
These gloves are amazing, the mesh on the palm keeps your hands cool and gives you just the right grip on the stick. They are also the most flexable gloves I have ever owned. Ya I used to think they were ugly as ass, but in real life they look pretty sexy.;]
i had a full size to small for a while because i like a tighter glove but i would go with 14 so you dont grow out of it too quick and i dont know about these but the k18s were a tight fit. you should go with 14"
ive never seen these in person but they look pretty ugly. whats with the wrist being so long it looks like it goes up to your elbow. They looks stiff and tight and ugly. ugh
I havent seen em either but im assuming that the wrist comes up just as far as the G22's i think that thesse will be updated g22s with more protection and durability
