BEST GOALIE HEAD OUT

i strung this and it was fairly simple. the double sidewall is a little tricky but overall it seems really nice

it's amazing. i've had the money the guardian the nemesis and the eclipse. this is the best out of all of them. the money sucks the guardian is very good but not durable and the nemi is good but a little heavy. the eclipse is light durable and haves great accuracy and ball control.

is this worth getting. how does it compare to the eraser and nemesis?

the eraser is really badd, outlet passes are terrible with it... if you want a good head i would suggest this or the nemesis

lookin for a new head, ive got the money right, now, but should i get this, or guardian?

This is a good head for some players, i went from the money to this and had a horrible time, i much prefer the nemesis because it has the same feel as the money but its a stronger lighter head. and there isn't alot of difference between the weights of the nemesis eclipse or eraser

Im personally new at Lax and Goalie, but i found that this has too much whip, and the Nemesis is a lot better.

whip is usually on how you string it not the head it self. .

complete bullcrap. Nemi has much better passing accuracy and the extended "stopping space" creates way too much whip and hold.

you should string your stick right so you dont get a whip cause the eclipse is really accurate.

get the eclipse.i heard the best goalie in NJ in 8th grade uses it in black with a gait ICE in navy.

the eclipse is one of the greatest heads so either get the eclipse or the eraser or the gait vault

void is pretty stiff but a lil heavy tho.. but very nice. eclipse is perfect..... vault is a lil heavier but widest stoppin area.. very still 2 i got all these heads so i would know

def the eclipse because i think it is the lightest...i have only used 2 different heads in playing 6 years total..i started with the nemesis and then i switched to the eclipse..i feel as tho the eclipse has perfect eeverything..perfect weight..style..throwing ability i would definantly go with the eclipse

I had the nemesis with the brine f15 and the nemesis cracked in a game... i don't want to buy a new shaft so is this good with the f15 and will it fit?

There is no difference, just the color. Though some people believe that, when shooters look up when they go to shoot, they see the bright colored head, so they shoot at the head. I don't believe this, but that's my opinion.

Should i get this or th nemesis? if this do warrior shafts fit on this head?

i used the eclipse on a warrior krypto pro and it fit but i think i had to drill a new hole for the screw. right now i use the nemesis which i think is heavier and am think of going back to the eclipse so i suggest the eclipse.

sorry bro. If you know how to string sticks, you should know how to get a good pocket. If you do know how, take your mesh, soak in hot water and just strech, then string it. Works like a charm. This is my only head i run monster on (sometimes i run 20 or 17) and its a nice, light stick

this stick is deffinatly above average. if you want something light durable with a wide stopping range, this is the stick for you.

I ordered this and when I opened the box I thought it was 3 times brighter it looked on the internet!! It looks amazing.

I mean, what is the to say? This head is so light, it's kind of ridiculous, and yet still keeps up a fairly big surface area. I've only used a few goalie heads so far (abyss, nemesis, guardian), but this one is by far the best.

DEfinately my favorite goalie head of all time. The flex it has is great for ground balls and making a save with it feels fantastic. As far as stick handling and passing go, its probably the string job you put on it thats going to be the biggest difference. Definately buy this head. And i like Pepsi over Coke. Coke is to sweet while pepsi has more a fizzzzzz.

get factory stringing so that you only have to buy sidewalls. you wont have to go buy a pocket if you get it from the factory

the nemisis is a much better stick for acuracy and distance, but this is much lighter.

This is a great head. The best I've played with. You might want to string it yourself. The factory stringing isn't too great...

i run 20 diamond on this, and monster on my nem, and 12 on my void. I switch depending on the team we play.

yes this stick has the biggest stopping area dont get it strung by factory its REALLY hard then and there is no way to make a good pocket on it if you do i rock mine with 17 dimond

i've had this, the guardian and the nemesis(don't like it) and i dont think it's worth spending the extra $ on the Guardian.

Im still using the AL6000 + pro or whatever came with the stick. Do I have to purchase the $80 contender shaft or can i purchase a defensive steel shaft and cut it down?

dude,just get whatever goalie shaft you want and cut it down, cheaper than the d shaft and shorter so less is wasted, but you dont have to use the contender.

the contender is a god shft. get that so u dont have to waste money on a defensive

it is better cause the nemisis breaks rele easy and if ur gonna throw hard checks to the close attackman it ll break easy. also the eclipse has great pass accuracy

Nemesis all the way i got one of these head and it really hard to string it just how u want it because of how the side walls set up. there both good but eclipse is a better beginer and nemy is for goalie with more experience

I have used it for 2 seasons and its a sick head, great pass accuracy. Clipse is a good all around head

i love this head. its only flaw is scooping but besides that its the best. dont pay to get a stupid heavy nemesis for like 100$ when you can get this

This head is bomb!!! I've played for 6 seasons not including indoor and this head is an all around best!!! Great for all levels of play. You will be very pleased... By the way.. it's a lot better than the nemesis.. so get this one!!!

i love this head. soo accurate. i have the most accurate passes on my team with this. great ball control. ive used it for a season and a half with no problems wat-so-ever. get it if you dont wanna spend money and want a head thats worth mor than it is.

with my hard mesh it kind of bounces out time to time. I love my head but how is soft mesh for this

Personally, I like 12D(hard) on mine. With soft mesh it is nearly impossible to get a consistent and reliable pocket and its really affected by the weather. It's all preference but with 12D as with most hard meshes, you will usually get a nice consistent pocket. Soft hands and good form will take care of the rebounds.

if u get 10d and u bring it in the shower with u and put shampoo on the mesh it breaks in the mesh alot faster and after ur work it in after that it really shouldnt bounce out

spring 2004 is gonna be my first year playing goalie, and i luckily have a spot in the varsity team at my school since they only have one goalie this year. I've been playing with my buddy's goalmaster with kryptolyte C405, but i wanna know whether i should get an ECLIPSE or just stick with the goalmaster. WHAT SHOULD I DO????

I have an eclipse, nemesis and a abyss which is the warrior version of a goalmaster but a little heavier. I like the nemesis, I started out with it. I use my eclipse but it is for much more exprienced players because it is very light and doesn't have much excess weight for control. So if I were you, I would get either a nemesis or a the goalmaster cuz ur us't to using it. But you could get an eclipse cuz they are nice. Bottom line, I started off with a nemesis and it is a great head.

Go for the Eclipse, But put a Dabeer Triax 7000 D-shaft and cut id down, hint of advice put the shaft on backwards. it has a one of a kind feel.
