I've had these for about 2 seasons now and their great. They're flexible, comfortable, and protective. Also, they don't smell bad at all after a lot of use.
Don't get Assults believe me. They're nice/protective gloves but they aren't flexible at all. I think Romes and K18s are solid on comfort, protection, and flexibility. It pretty much just comes down to what you like the look of more. I just got my K18s today and its took me about 10 minutes of shooting to break them in.
i have loved previous k18 equipment but this really dissapoints. the fingers are not very flexible at all and even with moderate use do not loosen up. the pad around the thumb is too big and hits the knuckle part of the your palm, reducing flexibility. this random leather strip down the middle makes it impossible to slide the glove down a shaft, taped or not, and finally these gloves dont ventilate any air throughout play. your hands get reallllly hot and smell like ****. do yourself a favor and get brine superlights, or really any other glove. maverik also has nice gloves. i love the k18 arm pads and shoulders, but these gloves suck
These are so much better than maybachs. The protection is amazing, they last forever and they are comfortable. The maybachs don't ventilate good at all. Go with these. You'll be happy with the choice.
i have superlights and like its name there crazy light... they dont hav the best protection...the tips of the fingers get beatin up..ok here
attack=k18
defense/mid=superlights
these gloves are great and super comfy but i had a problem with them after about half a season the leather strap acrosse the palm is gone and my index finger stitching is broken and i have wholes in the thumbs.
I heard about this glove not giving good ventilation, so i want a loose fit. Problem is, i hqve no idea how big the 14's are cause the 13's are seem tight.
these are really nice the first couple of months you have them but after like 5 or 6 months they start to smell extremely bad. i dont know if it is like poor ventilation or something but when your done laxing your hands will reak for a while and the grip goes away super quick and they start to tear after a year. BUT when you first get them they are dank
these or shakedowns? someone who has possibly worn the shakedowns or both please give some advice. i have these but desperately need new gloves. if someone could describe the shakedowns or compare them to a popular glove that would be very helpful. or just give an opinion on which to get.
so i got these gloves today and i decided to play some wall ball to break them in i was out there for probably 30 minutes and i saw that the grip in the thumb was coming off that's really messed up considering i spent 150 on a pair of gloves that had the grip come off after some wall ball I would have been fine if it was after a month or two but after less than an hour? I really like stx i have the cell d pads and shoulder liners and they are really good it a surprise how low quality these are.
these are so good. not as flexible as king III's but they move where it matters and have twice the protection. Worst thing about them is they don't really breath so your hands get really hot when its warm out and your gloves start to stink but other than that these are really really good for any position or player
Yes I know chick username. But anyways I'm a guy and I'm 14 and going to high school but I'm not very muscular, but bulit for speed. So i was wondering if i should get these, Sugardaddies, or superlights. (mom's account).
it doesnt matter lax is all about personal prefrence these are probably one of the best on the market so i would go with these unless your trying to save money
Should i get these or maybachs? the maybachs look so much better but i've heard the ventilation sucks. so should i wait till large whites come back in stock or just get maybachs?
These are the best stx gloves. They breathe great, protect very nicely, and the grip is awesome. The glove fits really nice and the cuff is very useful. Overall great glove
These gloves look amaaaaazing and are lik brand new BUT the grip on the hand wears away and they are not very strong in protecting you from checks but they still look sweet
i have a pair of the maybachs and they have really good protection but in my opinion they arent made very well the lining inside on of mine is already tearing out after having them for one season and they are tearing a little bit also no vents on them
these gloves ae amazing. I got these after my brine defts ripped and they are great. The grip is super good, they are really comfortable and they also give you a lot of mobility....great gloves
i hear from all my friends that these are probably one of or if not the best gloves for protection but i dont like the colors. is there anywere else that i can find them in different colors?
These allow great protection along with great mobility. At first I did not know abot them because they were stiff but after two games they feel as great as ever definate buy for anyone who has the cash go with the K18 line. NEVER STOP "STX"
I play midi im looking 4 protection and flexability...Im not the biggest shooter but i shoot a good bit...Will these be good 4 me??? and will they rip?? my seasons coming up and i NEED new gloves plz respond!!
get these the protection is awsome, comefortable and flexible. i have not had them long anuf to tell you about them ripping.but you should definitly get these
These gloves are like tanks. i had my friend hit me in the hand purdy drn hard with these on and i didnt feel a thing. They're not the most flexible when you first get um but they break in. i'd definitely recomend them
use tha k18 II i am tha same way tha superlights have little to no protections and they rip easily idk about tha silos but i got these last season and they are light and basically dont need to be broken in because of the d3o tech.
yes but i tried on my friends new pair and he didn'thave this, it was not the stitiching, if u look at the palm image above n look at the fingers u can c the grey rubber grip bands across the finger. in my glove they then stick out were as my friends they lay flat agaisnt theside of the inside of the glove
these are great gloves i love the grip and they are tight fitting which i like i think it improves stick handleing. if you have the money and you know your going to be playing for awhile i would recomend these gloves
I reccomend a 13.5 or xl or whatever for anyone who has average size hands. Unless of course you like your gloves fairly snug. I would just recommend a little more room. If anyone has told you you have big hands I would not even think about getting anything smaller than a 13.5
these r not that flexible but otherwise very comfortable and have good protection and amazing vents if you want comfort th get the rich peoples or maybachs
