I am a faceoff mid and i like to take fast/ controlled shots should i get it or a different head??

this head is perfect for a face off mid...i am a center mid to and take all the face offs....i use this head for everything and i have 2 others for backups/rainsticks. the head is amazingly accurate and isnt a stiff head but it isnt really flexy either its perfect for face offs.

i play mid and sometimes take faceoffs. should i get this or the clutch?

this head has great accuracy and ball control with a pita pocket!! that what i have on a white gnar and i play attack/mid.

k first off got this off ebay for 30 bucks..............and its amazing......the pinch is great and it stays pinched for a good amount of the length witch alows u to have high pocket that throws great and amazing ball control.......I play center middie practiced some face offs wit it and its perfect even thought its really pinched doesnt get stuck in head like those stupit warrior heads....BUY IT

shutup i have it and its so accurate and has nice ball control. it is just flexible

this head is like impossible to string and it gets so pinched that the ball hardly even fits in it anymore

i play for an elite team for the state i live in and this is the head i use and i am undeafeated for faceoffs with this head but technique is more imprtant but syracuse also uses this head for there faceoff guys.

yeah i love this head its mt favorite for face offs....but technique is more important...but get this head if u want a good one

so it takes u an hour to string it. yeah its kind of a pain in the ass but its not worth switching a head. who cares its a good head.

i just got this head and its is really good. i love the pinch and it is light. it seems pretty stiff but im not sure exactly how strong it is cuz i haven't really used it to its full potential. i have just been using it in a few practices. great buy though

go with the primer...its light and strong and has just enough flex to shoot hard and fast

if u like pinched heads and u are a skilled stringer then get the primer. But if u want a lighter head that is a little easier to string get the proton power.

this head, along with the deuce, is so illegal. i went to a lax store about a week ago, and there was a strung primer in the store with hard mesh, and it had NO pocket at all. it was like a girls stick, no joke. but still, when i stuck a ball in the back, it didnt come out. ILLEGAL!

dude it store strung of course it wont have a freaking pocket and the ball got stuck cuz the mesh was probably rock hard i have traditional in it but instead of leather strips i used shooting strings and it is BEAST!!!

ur not thinking because OF COURSE ITS ILLEGAL thats why i learned how to string because usually they have crappy stringing and u can fix it and save some $$$$$

its just factory strung go back to that store and look at it again its not getting caught on the side wall of the head its the mesh

this really is a good head. i got it two years ago and it hasnt broke yet. i have died it twice so it got a little too pinched but nothing a softball and a blowdryer can't fix. the only problem i have with it is that it sucks to string but if you dont like to string a lot all you have to do is string it up once and your good.

i got this head...the sidewalls are wierd because it just loops through the mesh-holes because the holes double up and are vertical...and the way it came, it was strung all the way around with one string so i had to re-string it. Think it down when youre doing the sidewalls because an infant could do them. The rest is just regular

Just use one whole in each set but just 3 days ago i put traditional in it cause i didnt like hard mesh in it but instead of leather strips i used shooting string and it is so beast!

i've had this head for a year and a season and it got really pinched and illegal i had to put a softball in the middle put i love this head and it wont break. i dyed it a sweet orange, red, and white style.

i just ordered the red p2 with a red 803 ice and it is SCHAWEETTT!

primer its durable and has a great pinch, the clutch is great, if you string the proton power good the pocket is crazy, and and if you pinch the torque but y do you need such a pinched head you cold get the asset or juice and their good

okay so for christmas im getting a new stick and heres what i have so far: STX primer on Gait silencer w/ fluorescent pink hard mesh and fluorescent green shooting strings and sidewall. Leave some comments soon pleaze

I don't know what shaft to get with this... anything good under 80$? i was thinking a Zirconium

my best friend has the 803 ice and its strong as hell and only 85$ its litterly one of the strongest sticks out there with 95,000 psi. ive held just the shaft before and its the lightest shaft by debeer. the gait silencer has 97,000 psi but thats 110$ i heard that the zirconium was heavy and easliy dents cause i wanted to get it to . another okay shaft is the stx vanadium grip. only 60$

I like it so far; it's actually not as pinched as it looks. The deuce has a tighter pinch. Stringing is a little weird, but not hard to figure out.

ya, just buy a gait icon, find a way to make it not break when you poke check someone, pinch it a ton without it losing all its strenght and make it have COMPLETELY different look and stringing

I've got the deuce right now, and I love it, except the rubber on the sidewall i find a little bit ugly (I don't really think it affects how the stick plays at all). The primer is the same weight as I read, so is the deuce only more expensive because of the rubber? Also I'll be playing again in the fall once I get back to college, and I have a feeling the deuce may break so I'd like to have a similar backup

the pinch on the primer goes a little higher up than the deuce and the top is a bit more rounded. this head is actually better than the deuce but the difference is only minor. your right about the deuce breaking, mine broke playing catch. get this

typically stx heads have the largest necks on their sticks therefore almost any shaft will fit

well if it is back up I would say go for this. The e3 is way stiffer and longer lasting, but this is better pinched for attackmen.

idk about that i have both and i love the proton power for attack, d, or mid except face offs the p2 is an amazing face off head but the primer just ruins it, it is so flexible and wrecks ur oppenent if ur clamping. The proton power is more of an all round head while the primer is just really phenominal on face offs and good attack and mid but for d it really sucks. people say the p2 sucks for d but it really doesn't.

the proton power is quite a bit stronger and this gets really pinched over a couple of games

this head is good for the offensive middi, i play attack at crease and this head is so pinched that it is hard to catch with even in space let alone in the middle of the crease. Beside that, good durability, streangth and accuracy.

my friend had an e3 and on the first week i through him a pass and the sidewall cracked and its not very good.

i have scored at least 350 goals this season with this head. and weve only had 7 games. no joke

The proton power is a little better for faceoffs but i absoulutley loved this head for facing off until i broke it after like 2 1/2 seasons with it.

i had this head, and it broke within a season. not even the full spring, just fall ball. the sidewall broke in half and it just isn't very durable.
