STX Professor 2012

I play attack and i was wondering which head i should get the Proton Power on this.

is this good for attack

just got this head in the mail so nice I think I like it more the the surgeon although the surgeon is nice I prefer the professor

the refs in high school dont care my he told my teammate that his head was ilegal but then he said hed never call it

i think im getting this head because i have the blueprint x illegel for youth but nowbody ever notices and in highschool rarly checl the stick so if youinr not getting it cause of that reason its your lose

ok everyone is saying that is illegal in high school and it is but do they really measure your sticks specs in high school? Ive never seen them do it in games that I've watched but i wouldn't know cuz I'm going to high school next year. Do they actually measure ur sticks in high school?

I have gone through 3 super powers and I like the head. this head looks like it could be pretty good. Which one should I get? and why?

Why is this head not legal for High School/Youth lax? Is there a way to modify the head so it is? Should I get this head for attack also?

the scoop is less than 6 inches wide so its illegal in highschool but legal for college

I would personally recommend this head, because it has a great ball control so it would make it easier to get ground balls. But if you are playing for a High School league then I would recommend the surgeon 10 (unless you are in a high school league get the regular surgeon). Also consider looking at the "evo" series by warrior too. Because those heads can also get you a lot of ground balls. Another thing to consider is that my brother plays lsm, and he has used the m80x, and evo 3x. Now he is playing for teams such as Nike blue chip and headstrong.

READ IF YOU ARE A FACE-OFF SPECIALIST: I play for wayne state university and used this head for 2 pre-season games as a fogo, i mainly used this for a simple clamp or a jam, im right handed and i can see that its warping to the left already. This is a stiff head so you will not be able to use the plunger move. If you are like me go with the Surgeon 10, ACP helps keep the head shape better and it is a little bit stiffer than the professor

One of the best defense heads out there. Stiffness makes it a great head for poking the crap out of one of those poor attackmen. I play it strung with 4 straights and a high pocket. Lots of whip but amazing hold when running clears.

Would this be better than a super power, im kind of leaning toward this right now

if i played with this in a highschool game what would the penalty be?

3 minute non-releasable and you wont be able to bring it back into the game. Not worth it.

I play attack and can't decide between this and the surgeon 10. Suggestions?

If you like a stick with more whip go with the professor. If not go with the Surgeon 10. The scoop on the S10 is more "U" shaped and does not allow you to string a lot of whip into the stick.

well i have the STX surgeon which comes more pinched than the 10 but i used my friends professor and it was amazing but i stick with the surgeon its really smooth and straight on the release of passes and shots. :)

I'm an attackmen I shoot from all areas of the field, but I also attack the goal alot, so I want a head with a little pinch, i was thinking this or the cobra x anybody else have an idea? I already tried the super power and didn't like it.

this is about as pinched as college heads come. it's a very good head. i love it

im in highschool and this baby is sexy im willing to take a one minute non-releaseable to use her anyone know how long a penalty is for using a ncaa head in hs

Best Face-Off head out there. As it pinches it becomes a better head! They don't break loads at all. Not sure what these people have been doing with them to make them break but i use mine alot for facing and only ever broke 1!

why cant you use this in hs?

its only 6inchs at the top which is hs illegal unless u play in the MIAA where we play NCAA rules

not unless you actually practice shooting. chances are picking up a new stick won't do anything except improve confidence

head is amazing throws perfect shoots awesome and my favorite has an AMAZING SCOOP!! i also have the super power and recomend this over that and it is amazing for face off! i give it 5 stars

I have had it for three games and it has cracked twice. ITs a sick head im just mad it already cracked TWICE

got this head strung on another website good but very flexible and also a very good scoop its definitely good if you want to see a pix click on my picture its there

If you're playing with ncaa rules, you wouldn't be able to use a proton power anyway. But if you're playing with high school rules you couldn't use the professor. I recommend getting the super power which is legal at all levels. plus the super power is stiff and has great ball control.

any head can fit on any shaft. you just might have to drill a hole.

iv been using it for the past few seasons for faceoffs, it only bent a little one game when someone was standing on it but other then that its super stiff but probly better for defense
