i had 2 players on my team who had this head... broke on both of them in the same spot.

which part of upstate are you playing at? (not trying to sound mean just wondering)

Similar to mjhuffer, I have broken 2 of these heads in the same place as mj in the last 2 weeks. Play lsm d3 in Upstate NY have been practicing in 34 degrees or below. One broke on a pretty strong poke check the other in pile up that twisted the head. I have a teammate playing close D and he has broken 2 also, in the same location. It appears STX has a problem here. I love the head otherwise but I can't depend on it to last so I'm switching to the X10

Listen very closely. I've played lacrosse for 10 years and I have never seen I head break at the throat like this one does. I bought two for the college MCLA season and they have both broke at the throat right at the second up sidewall hole. It starts out as a pressure crack because the head it too stiff and then will eventually break all the way through. Please contact me if you have questions but this is ridiculous. I am contacting STX and lax.com Monday to figure out what I can do but I am going to get the superpower. I definitely not getting this head again.

Highly recommend for fogos or anybody who takes faceoffs and needs a NCAA legal head

ok well im a middie and my head jst broke and im tryna find a new head this or the primer...im a middie who can crank shots and all but i also play like a D player...i need to knw which head so i can play like a D pole but still be able to crank shots....play respond quick

i live in texas and have heard rumors that texas high schools follow ncaa rules now. is this true?

i laugh at all of the idiots that bought this head without reading that its only leagal in NCAA and who will get their stick thrown out of the game after the ref checks it

the head is illegal in Hs/youth because the scoop on this head is 6 inches and the other x6 heads also. hs requires a 6.5 scoop

This head IS NOT High school legal. The widest part of the head is too narrow for hs rules, so don't get it if you're in hs. NCAA or MCLA only.

I'm a middi and I will probably be buying a new head soon, my brine pulse is getting a little week.
