Hey I need ur help which combo is better: Proton power head and scandium pro shaft Or Super power head and surgeon 7075 shaft

is pro stringing good?

I don't know whether to buy the proton power or the super power. I have heard that the super power hourglasses like crazy, but also the some of the proton powers have defects. Any thoughts or advice?

Dude go with the proton power I have two of them and i still casnt get enough it throughs like a fricken dream

The super power does hourglass, but the proton actually hourglasses easier. I've had the super power for a while, and it has not hourglassed. I think you should go with super power.

for a middie head what is the difference between this and the proton power 2 c channel

Stx recently came out with the Proton Power 2 C-Channel, but the other Proton Power has been out for years (That shouldn't matter). The old proton power was known to get illegal because the middle of the head would sort of "warp" or "hourglass". But the new proton power 2 C-Channel technology makes the head stronger, and more durable than the last one. So I would say that you should go with the Proton power 2 C-Channel if you want a longer lasting head.

I play attack and I am thinking about buying this head. Should I be worried about it warping?

I have had mine for 2 and half years and mine isn't warped yet, i haven't heard of any warping from my friends of there protons either

I currentlly have a ceo and am thinking about getting this or the surgeon. Im leaning toward the surgeon but ive read that it heavy. I play middie so thats a big deal. Which one should i get? Or should i just stick with the ceo?

The stallion is a lot better than the surgeon and is lighter its also good for faceoffs but is only high school legal and the proton power is also amazing for middies

Not quite the best head for beginners players, or stringers. Players because of the narrow pinch making it hard to catch, and stringers because of the lack of stringing holes. But if you feel good about your stick skills, and good about your stringing it's a great head for intermediate players.

I like the EVO 3 better, i've had both.

I suggest this head you may play attack or middle but that doesnt matter it can be used for both are middle who does faceoffs has one and i play attack and have one soft mesh with a deep pocket all the way

This heads amazing, great for attack. Pinched for better retention, and flexible for an improved shot speed. Mine has zero signs of warping, but alot of people rant about it, but it seems like if its the luck fo the draw if you get a bad pp, but so far, I am very impressed with mine. It is light at 4.7 oz. but if your looking for even lighter, i suggest the NOZ X or Warrior Evolyte. But for the overall best attack head, this is it!

superpower...because its legal for college and hs ... but it has more stringng holes its lighter stiffer and sexyer

this is a great head for inter/experienced players this fits on all shaft but if your going for lightness look on the shafts lightness ratings and very stiff but dont dye or restring it alot it will warp it

i say the best set up for middle/high school lax is the sci ti and the proton, but right now i have a clutch and an ice and its pretty damn light but my ice is getting pretty beat up. but if your looking for a light stick you should get the ice and the proton

i have this and the original proton plus and i love both of them totally worth it

revise, totally worth the money also @brettthelaxer pro stringing is only 9 bucks which is about the price of all the stringing supplies so even if you have 2 take it out u will have all the supplies

This head is crazy. So light and pinched. I would recomend this head to anyone, more so of mid and attack though.

This is a great head one of the best. i did notice the white ones come a little more pinched than the colored ones from my observations on my team

@raiderslax10 do ruby mesh with three straight shooters up top with a somewhat shallow high pocket. Works great and quick release and more speed

Anyone have a good stringing pattern for this?

Ive had this head for a little longer than a season. I play middie at the high school level and it has lasted great through all of the ground balls, dodging, and checking. So far there is no warping or cracking and it is really easy to string. Overall its a graet head and i dont have anything bad to say about it, it is pretty flexible so its probably not the best attack head. For attack i would recommend the surgeon.

Ths head is great, you can't predict wheter or not a head will break because it happens randomly so don't worry about it. The pp is a sick head a goes well for any positio, just get it

if you are playing in college, get the superpower. otherwise proton power is way better. Think about stallion, they say its supercool for faceoffs

Super Power. Proton warps faster then the super power when doing faceoffs and the stallion is stiff.

this head his pretty hard to string it might take you a while to do it but. When its done its nice I strung a high pocket on its just nasty now ;}

i would say this because i have this and the clutch and this is more pinched and still not illegal so you have better hold and you can get a super high pocket on it if you string it right the only problem is is the limited amount of stringing hole but if your good at stringing then you shouldent have a problem

just got this head looks amazing but its white and I have a blue shaft and my colors are blue and gold what colors should i die the head if i get blue it feels like to much and yellow looks weird all on it

dont die it cuz this thing will get way to flimzy and it will brak easy also once you die it

I ordered them last month the quantity 16!!! i know i can afford them cause im rich but im on my first one and it is great!!!! i ordered 16 scandium pro grips to go along with the heads with custom stringing on all!! again cause i am rich!!! and they r awesome!!!!

I have this and I have had this for 1 spring 2 summer and 2 fall seasons and it is amazing it is stron and light. Just like all other heads it's just getting a good one or getting a bad one it's the luck of the draw but it is amazing I had a clutch and I liked it but I love this more.
