  • The STX Stallion is the new Gold standard from STX. Engineered for strength and stability for the advanced all around midfielder. C-Channel technology provides extra strength at the face-off X, on ground balls, and checks. Sidewall braces provide extra stability on outside shots and ground balls. Bottom rail designed specifically for high pocket placement. Strategically placed stringing holes for variety of stringing options. Forward Cant
If your game is built on speed, then the STX Stallion is the go to head. A high sitting pocket allowed our Pro's to move the ball quickly and easily while maintaining ball control. This head caters to players that are running the lines and cradling with both hands. The C-Channel tech ensures that this stick will hold up to a rough style of play, and come out looking and feeling as good as it did when it went in. A can't miss value for the run and gun midfielder and comes highly recommended by the Pro's at Lax.com. You will see this head all over high school fields this year.

head - 9/05/15 reply

I'm a face-off guy who says on and plays o middle. Should I get this, the superpower, or any other head that I didn't name?
(no subject) - 8/06/15 reply

Stallion U500, not HS. Lighter and stiffer.
Head choice - 6/02/15 reply

I am a very offensive Middy do I get this, the Lakota, or optik
(no subject) - 8/06/15 reply

Nvm lax bro i though u said defensive, though I'm an o middie and I use a stallion u with hero mesh. Probably Optik.
questions - 4/22/15 reply

Which is better for an o middie, stallion u 500 or normal stallion? i like a mid pocket so which is better for those? which is more durable
Stallion U - 8/06/15 reply

U is lighter and stiffer. That's what I use. It's great.
questions - 4/22/15 reply

This Head - 2/21/15 reply

stallion is the best head at all levels. trust me when it tell you it does not change its faceshape. if it does your taking horrible care of your sticks. Sick head for all players BUT sorry fogos. trust me i know the struglle, im a faceoff guy and love the head but it isnt made for faceoffs, i went through 3 in a week but our number one middie on my team who is going to navy has been using one sine it came out. its a beauty.
Which head? - 2/14/15 reply

Should I get this, warrior burn, or maverick optik? I play mainly middie, some attack.
This or Lakota? - 12/18/14 reply

I can string the perfect pocket I want in my lakota. Would I be able to transfer that over to a stallion easily? Or should I just get another lakota..?
(no subject) - 8/07/15 reply

it'd be extremely easy to transfer to a stallion, they're both essentially the same head except for the placement of the sidewalls. They perform almost exactly the same so you probably wouldn't have any trouble transferring our pocket, however the lakota is substantially cheaper and the stallion comes in more variety, its about preference more than anything
Surgeon 500 vs Stallion - 11/21/14 reply

Which one should I get? I am a middie that can also play attack.
hs vs u500 - 11/13/14 reply

I play under high school rule which should i get if I'm a middy
hs - 11/19/14 reply

It has a better pinch but it's all about preference.
pinch? - 9/10/14 reply

how does this relate to the revolver in terms of width or pinch?
durability - 8/06/14 reply

Does this head stay stiff after continuous use? I've had problems with other stx heads in the past as they would become super flexible and warp.
Same as day 1 - 8/15/14 reply

I got a white stallion in late October and used it outside all throughout the winter, then i had an entire varsity spring season and i recently finish summer ball and the head is roughly the same stiffness as day 1. The only thing that changes was the amount of ball burns on the inner sidewalls, but just clean your head when restringing and you're golden.
Should I? - 8/01/14 reply

Should I get the stallion or the maverick optik PS. I am an Attakman
optik - 8/03/14 reply

id go optik the stallion is geared more toward middies
(no subject) - 8/06/14 reply

I would go with the Maverik optik
Stallion or noz - 6/20/14 reply

Should I go with a noz or stallion, offensive middie who dodges a lot. Don't take too many face offs, mainely a scorer and facilitator
stallion - 6/22/14 reply

I have a stallion and it is great for dodging and shooting, I do not take face-offs but I am sure it would work good for that too.
stallion - 7/17/14 reply

personally id go with the stallion because it is more of an offensive minded head and it more durable than the noz... i currently own 3 stallions and just ordered a custom dyed one from lacrossse unlimited. i love the head only one ill play with.
(no subject) - 6/18/14 reply

Is the east coast mesh stringing good?
YES - 9/10/14 reply

ATTENTION!!!! REPLY PLEASE!!!! - 6/14/14 reply

I already have a stallion on my long pole and it works great but I'm looking for a back up should I get another stallion, a lakota U, or the Warrior Burn X
(no subject) - 6/19/14 reply

(no subject) - 8/07/15 reply

depends if you're an lsm, or a total DPole
Great - 6/07/14 reply

I have had this head for about 6 months and it is by far the nicest head ive ever had!!!
Weight - 5/30/14 reply

7.3 ounces
lakota or this - 5/27/14 reply

I'm a middie or attack and i was wondering which one.

This or the proton for faceoff, considering the $49 proton and the stallion being $90
Facing Off - 5/11/14 reply

This head is pretty stiff when u first get it and also its not as pinched as other heads so when clamping the ball on Face Off, the ball doesnt really stay in. but other than that its a pretty solid head for facing off, just make sure you break it in good before using it.
LSM - 4/22/14 reply

This is the ideal midfield head, either for shorty or lsm. It is designed for high pocket placement so it's good for coming down the field with two hands. If you play LSM this is the head for you
(no subject) - 4/16/14 reply

This or the stx stallion ? I'm a faceoff but not fogo so I need it for shooting too....
(no subject) - 6/12/14 reply

hey retard this is the STX stallion
faceoffs - 4/15/14 reply

how is it for a middie who takes all faceoffs?
Faceoffs - 11/19/14 reply

If you're a middie that takes fo, i would reccamend the Blade Pro. It becomes more flexible. The Stallion stays more stiff over time.
(no subject) - 8/07/15 reply

im a middle who does face-offs and i use the blade og which is a LE reisssue of the OG Blade, its really really pricy but definitely worth it
(no subject) - 4/13/14 reply

this or rabil x
Great for D - 2/25/14 reply

I got this head and decided to put it on a Pole. It's amazing. Incredibly durable, not too pinched either. Ground balls are just easy. However, it takes some time just to get a feel for the head. Wall ball all day
(no subject) - 2/24/14 reply

Would this head fit on a maverick range?
LSM - 2/08/14 reply

I was thinking about head for LSM. It not to flexabable but has the shape and the right amount of flex and stiffness for a LSM. I think.
Low Pocket - 2/06/14 reply

Amazing pattern for a low pocket! 9d Topstring tie 1st, skip, knot, skip, knot, skip, knot, skip, knot, skip, knot, 1, 1, 1, tie last hole. Finish it off 1.5 inch bottom string. When you tie don't go down through the next 10d hole. Nylon, then right under that a shooter, skip, then another shooter on the 5th row down.
Mid Pocket - 5/29/15 reply

10 Diamond top. Tie 1st, skip, skip, si, skip, si, skip, si, skip, double si, skip, single si, si, skip, tie last hole. Shooters nylon on the third 10 d row, skip, 6d u, 4d u.
(no subject) - 5/29/15 reply

and the 6d u and 4d u are not stacked there is 1 row in between
LSM - 1/16/14 reply

Is this head good for LSM?
(no subject) - 1/05/14 reply

im close D and i need a flexible head that isnt too pinched like the proton power but not wide as the proton u. i prefer something similar to the surgeon on the pinch wise.
Stallion or Cyber X - 1/05/14 reply

I play close D and rarely does the goalie clear the ball to me. However, I do cause a lot of turnovers and scoop up plenty of GBs. Price isn't a factor. I want something that is amazing for GBs but can still take a major beating. Plz reply soon
stringing - 8/17/13 reply

Does anybody have a good pattern for a mid or mid low pocket? Prefferrably mid. I like to pass, shoot, and dodge.
Good pattern - 8/23/13 reply

Tie on hole 2 Skip 2 SI Skip 1 IL SI 2i IL Skip 1 Tie off
(no subject) - 8/30/13 reply

Thank you I'm gonna string ASAP
Face shape - 8/16/13 reply

Amazing lsm head I just got it and it's amazing for pokes and slaps some kid told me to lighten up on the checks in my last tournament so if u like a pinched head for lsm get it!
(no subject) - 6/10/13 reply

is it good for lsm??
Middie head - 6/06/13 reply

Stallion Vs Rabil x - 6/03/13 reply

I play x should i get staillion or rabil x
(no subject) - 7/02/13 reply

what do you need it to do?.. if you're playing X the rabil X might be better because you can get a better low pocket& more catching area.
Defense? - 5/29/13 reply

Do you think this head would be good for defense? I am a LSM so I need a more offensive type head but I still play plenty of defense. Any good head suggestions besides this one would be great!
(no subject) - 6/14/13 reply

Love it - 5/27/13 reply

I got this head like a month ago and it is already my starter.... I love the pinch/shape. I recomend two U's and two nylons. If you alternate the nylon, top string, and sidewall colors it looks SICKKKK!!!
get a stallion - 5/24/13 reply

i love my stallions i have 3. 2 on short sticks, i love it for faceoffs, but its lts also pretty good for d cause its stiff. it does get a little wiggly on if left in a hot car or exposed to the sun
dont get the sugeon - 5/19/13 reply

Surgeon is garbage
Fogo - 5/08/13 reply

I play middie and this is honestly the best faceoff head I've used. I have used evos, proton powers, and clutches and the stallion is by far my favorite. I have the stallion shaft on it to pretty awesome combo.
Help - 5/08/13 reply

I play middie but don't take a lot of face ofs. Should I get the Stallion, Surgeon or Brine Clutch elite. I need to now in the next week hurry please respond.
which head??? - 5/08/13 reply

I've used both of these heads and used to play attack. Like you I have a 2 handed cradle, but I shoot over hand. Go between an Evo and the stallion. I personally don't like clutches or brines in general. Personally for attack I'd choose a proffesor or stallion and put a mid high pocket on it. It's up to you though
(no subject) - 5/11/13 reply

Brine clutch elite if you are aggresive but the stallion is really good to
trademarke - 5/19/13 reply

get the stallion i play attack and fogo and the surgeon is really stiff, and also the clutch warps over time.
(no subject) - 5/27/13 reply

I would either take the clutch elite or the stallion... The surgeon has a sick shape but I know a lot of middies that got it for the amount of pinch and are trying to sell them now because they don't like them. I LOVE the stallion but the clutch elite is a really good head.
Attack - 5/03/13 reply

I play attack and have a brine clutch right now and im choosing between this and the warrior evo 3 or 3x. I like to utilize a 2 handed cradle and shoot side arm so i like alot of hold and whip with a high pocket. which head should i get?
(no subject) - 4/21/13 reply

Is the stallion good for a d pole?
(no subject) - 4/27/13 reply

great head! - 4/05/13 reply

I play for lxm pro and this is probably the best head i have ever used. buy it
(no subject) - 4/05/13 reply

lakota and stallion are almost exactly the same. .01 grams weight difference (lakota lighter i think) and there is pretty much no difference in face shape. both are easy to string too. whichever one is cheaper id go with.
(no subject) - 3/29/13 reply

is this a good lsm head
ADVICE - 3/27/13 reply

Should I get get the Stallion or Surgeon. I play attack and sometimes middie.

HEAD - 3/27/13 reply

nike ceo or lakota
Which one - 3/17/13 reply

Should i get rabil x or stallion for a middie who probaly wont take face offs
(no subject) - 3/22/13 reply

you should learn to play lacrosse, go to Idaho if you want to see some real lax also look up potato elite lacrosse, we only lost to west coast starz u13 by 5... real heart breaker we had it in the bag... and were a 2014 team so were up and coming.
(no subject) - 4/18/13 reply

No one cares about Idaho lacrosse. Seriously
????????????????? - 3/15/13 reply

Why do the shooting strings change when u go from white to other colors?
Stalllion or Lakota? - 3/15/13 reply

I play middie. Stallion or Lakota?
(no subject) - 3/26/13 reply

stallion all day
(no subject) - 2/26/13 reply

the colors are more matte than shiny
(no subject) - 2/26/13 reply

rabil x is better for face-offs. they are both really good, either one is good, id go with the stallion, but its personal prefrence.
awesome - 2/26/13 reply

strung mine up with mid pocket low whip(unlike my rabil x but i like them both) and good hold. great accuracy. i have been taking face-offs with them for about a 2 months in practice and no warp yet which is good. i wouldn't recommend it for face-offs though it isn't pinched enough, it's really hard to keep the ball in it long enough to pop it, i kind of just roll it. other than that though it is a great head and would recommend it to any middie.
Stallion - 2/02/13 reply

Would you get the stallion or the rabil x
Lakota - 1/28/13 reply

This and the nike Lakota are essentially the exact same thing. The Lakota is just less expensive and doesn't take faceoffs as well
(no subject) - 1/16/13 reply

Im a middie and this is by far the best head I've used. Nice whip and tremendous accuracy. If you're a middie, this is the best head for you.
(no subject) - 2/19/13 reply

whip has nothing to do with the head it is all about how u string it
string job - 12/26/12 reply

if anyone is looking for a nice pocket for the stallion, first, do three interlocks, skipping a hole each time, then triple, single single. make sure you skip a hole every time. put a nylon and two U's. it was great hold and throws great
Color - 12/22/12 reply

Ceo - 3/11/13 reply

Yea, the ceo is great. I mean i kno its an attack head, but im a middie and do faceoffs (hasnt warped at all) and its great. Just wish it was more stiff.

GOOD COMBO? - 7/14/12 reply

I just got the katana scandium and am thinking about getting this. i play middie (face offs) and some attack too. how does that combo sound for me?
