I am searching for a new head that I can take a face-off with and shoot. I have narrowed it down to evo3 and stallion. Please tell me your input.

This or the proton power? I am a middie and i do faceoffs.

proton has more flex but this is an all around better head for middie

I'm looking for defensive head, I want it to be stiff and I would like a little bit of a pinch to it should I go with this? I've also been thinking about getting a superpower, so witch is better this or the superpower?

do not get the superpower, its only good for attack and middies, get this, i know a guy that has it and he loves it.

Definetly this its stiff and flexable, dousnt warp at all and ive taken over 100 faceoffs

not for lsm or close d with all the plastic at the bottom i figured it would be good but it wasnt it broke on the bottom left side were the bottom of the c channel is after 2 days im a lsm and threw a poke check at a kids stick and snapped it

I have had this head for a couple months now and it is really good for face-offs but ground balls can be tricky because the head is so stiff.

should i get this or the super power need answers asap

id get the surgeon, it has a larger scoop id i think it has more holes, i just got one and its tough as hell

get the super power, the stallion is a face off head, the stx surgeon is also a good for an attackmen.

This head broke in 1 month of moderate usage and my friend broke 2 in one month. I do not recomend it.

I thought this head woulda been more pinched but it is just at the throat. I pinched it a little more in the middle and it came out nice. good all around head. sturdy where it needs to be.

surgeon, stallion, or proton power for attack?

Proton/Super Power is what most kids I know use for attack. I would say either of those or the Surgeon. The stallion is more for middies and sometimes D

I use the stallion for middie, and I don't take face-offs. It's a great head over all. I play drawside on face-offs, and it's great for groundballs. Also very durable.

Would this head be good for defense? I am a very aggressive defenseman and I throw really hard slaps and pretty good pokes. Is it durable enough? I like to carry the ball upfield and I hate wider heads (I have the Blueprint X) so I am looking for a pinched durable head.

Just copped this head in the mail. It's very sturdy and has a nice structure. It will be the perfect head for a middy, especially one that takes face-offs. Highly recommended head, but try to avoid the pro stringing if you can. It's not really strung correctly.

Probably the best head you can get, especially for a midfielder. It is quite stiff, but it can flex a little side to side, although it does not flex from the top at all which is great for solid checking. There is a good amount of holes which allows many stringing variations. The face shape is perfect and it adds great control. The scoop is also very nice. The only weird thing is that it did not come like it looks in the picture. I got it in white and the ball stop is oval-shaped and the stx logo on the scoop is a sticker. Not sure if they are all like this, or just white is, or if just mine is like that. Overall, awesome head.

I just got this and i scored 8 goals with it in the fist game i had it. it has the best release ever. I also do face-offs and it was a great face off head. best head ive ever had

The surgeon is amazing for attack so ive heard. i used my friends once but he strung it with so much whip, but its great for attack, take a look at the supper power because it's basically a more durable and wider proton power. i hoped that helped

Definitely this it's the best middie head in the game it has a good pinch and the scoop is really nice. Very light and durable.

do black heads get melted during the summer? because in illinois our summers can be pretty hot so i need to know if its not guna get too flexible because i want a stiff head

He meant do they get warped, and since darker colors attract heat, yeah it probably would.

had this head for no more then three weeks and it snapped on my during a faceoff. Pretty stiff head if you like a flexible head for facing off i do not recommend this head i had a lot of trouble with the flexibility to the point where there was almost none.

i put this on a under armour attack shaft i picked up from sports authority and i pla middie if u like whip then go with ths if u dont thn get a super power or get a hevier shaft

not tryin to be a hater but whip is all in the stringing. the weight of a head or shaft shouldn't have much to do with it

For the past 2 years ive been using Super Powers and Protons, ive gone through almost 5, im my teams main faceoff middie and im tired of warping but i want the shot to be good too, high pocket btw. Is stallion the way to go?

Winter league ive won almost every faceoff. Great head stiff but it doesnt warp or any thing great head. Sort of hard to keep it legal with the stringing but it can be done.

I've noticed at the top of the sidewalls they, have use more rectulangular shaped holes apposed to just holes does this have any implications with stinging ?

This head is raw af. Stiff, great legal pinch, great stringing options, stays shape after face-offs, and is designed for a high pocket. Anyone can use this head but i recommend it most for middies (i play attack and do some face-offs)

I play attack. This head dosnt have alot of pinch compared to most NFHS only legal heads. If you put a good string job in it than it is amazing. I would so get it.

this head is great for middie it has a c channel technology witch it will flex on faceoffs but it returns to its normall shape. and it is not designed to warp at all. my friend just ordered one there really great for middie and designed by kyle harrison

how is this for faceoffs? currently i have a noz and love it but it warps.

i currently have a clutch and play attack or dfensive middie. im looking for a head that works well for both. the clutch is ok but it keeps warping and i have to bend it back after each game. if you have any head suggestions that would b great if you could let me know. btw i hate wide heads

AMAZING HEAD. light weight, super strong, i play LSM and my coach makes me stay on for offense ever since i got this head hahaha its really good for close d also

noz x..............the noz is super light weight and in my opinion looks a lot sexeir. its also easier to string and is a good attack head in general. if you want a more pinched head for attact get a brine clutch. my favorite head is the brine remis sl because it weighs 4.1 ounces and has a good pinch it has reverse side walls which makes it easier to catch

they should so get the warrior NOZ X on this site they would make so much more money

ive got some extra money and i either wanna buy the or a stx scandium pro. i already have a clutch and a proton power thats gonna break any day now. i also have a kryptolyte and i cant decide wether to buy a new head or a new shaft, please help. also give me a reason why i should buy one or the other.

I know that people are saying it may be good for a defense-man based on stiffness, but what's the durability like? Maybe feedback from a defense-man? I need a head for an offensive d-man/lsm type person. Please only comment about this head, please don't scream out other heads that in your opinion would be better.

I've used brine warrior and this is my first stx I love it best face off head hands down no morphing to it at all but nearly impossible to string it and not make it illegal had to make those side walls real tight but its accurate durrable great shot speed best ever hands down
