Surgeon is garbage

I play middie and this is honestly the best faceoff head I've used. I have used evos, proton powers, and clutches and the stallion is by far my favorite. I have the stallion shaft on it to pretty awesome combo.

I play middie but don't take a lot of face ofs. Should I get the Stallion, Surgeon or Brine Clutch elite. I need to now in the next week hurry please respond.

I've used both of these heads and used to play attack. Like you I have a 2 handed cradle, but I shoot over hand. Go between an Evo and the stallion. I personally don't like clutches or brines in general. Personally for attack I'd choose a proffesor or stallion and put a mid high pocket on it. It's up to you though

Brine clutch elite if you are aggresive but the stallion is really good to

get the stallion i play attack and fogo and the surgeon is really stiff, and also the clutch warps over time.

I play attack and have a brine clutch right now and im choosing between this and the warrior evo 3 or 3x. I like to utilize a 2 handed cradle and shoot side arm so i like alot of hold and whip with a high pocket. which head should i get?

I play for lxm pro and this is probably the best head i have ever used. buy it

lakota and stallion are almost exactly the same. .01 grams weight difference (lakota lighter i think) and there is pretty much no difference in face shape. both are easy to string too. whichever one is cheaper id go with.

you should learn to play lacrosse, go to Idaho if you want to see some real lax also look up potato elite lacrosse, we only lost to west coast starz u13 by 5... real heart breaker we had it in the bag... and were a 2014 team so were up and coming.

Why do the shooting strings change when u go from white to other colors?

the colors are more matte than shiny

rabil x is better for face-offs. they are both really good, either one is good, id go with the stallion, but its personal prefrence.

strung mine up with mid pocket low whip(unlike my rabil x but i like them both) and good hold. great accuracy. i have been taking face-offs with them for about a 2 months in practice and no warp yet which is good. i wouldn't recommend it for face-offs though it isn't pinched enough, it's really hard to keep the ball in it long enough to pop it, i kind of just roll it. other than that though it is a great head and would recommend it to any middie.

Would you get the stallion or the rabil x

This and the nike Lakota are essentially the exact same thing. The Lakota is just less expensive and doesn't take faceoffs as well

Im a middie and this is by far the best head I've used. Nice whip and tremendous accuracy. If you're a middie, this is the best head for you.

whip has nothing to do with the head it is all about how u string it

if anyone is looking for a nice pocket for the stallion, first, do three interlocks, skipping a hole each time, then triple, single single. make sure you skip a hole every time. put a nylon and two U's. it was great hold and throws great

i got one and i cracked on the faceoff and my cousin got one and he had it for like 3 months then it cracked it cracks near the throat if your debating between this the evo 3 and the ceo id get the ceo

Yea, the ceo is great. I mean i kno its an attack head, but im a middie and do faceoffs (hasnt warped at all) and its great. Just wish it was more stiff.

depends what u play if your a faceoff specialsit get the stallion if u want a good attack head get the proton power if u play a solid offensive middie get the cobra X

yea the katana sc and the stallion would make a great combo, i use it as my back up.

great combo i have it and the bend in the shaft evens out the top heavieness

i have a surgeon but i dont like it, is this more flexible? can someone actually tell me what they like about it rather then saying you broke one the first day or whatever, thanks a lot

i had a surgeon and the stallion, both were on my pole (LSM) and the stallion is my favorite because when its bent it doesn't stay bent like the surgeon does. stalion: more flexible down towards the throat but very stiff up top for good ground balls and accuracy, its also mega easy to string

i have used this head for almost 2 seasons now and its really nice, its starting to pinch a lot more because of facing, so when u get it it might be somewhat wide and the will pinch

Okay, i bought this head in early May, despite what they say, this head does warp, i played one game with face off, and it was warped pretty bad, also the bottom stringing hole is broken. Despite this i am getting another one for LSM, if you are playing another position id recommend the surgeon

i would go with h2 just because its like the wonderboy except its lighter and tougher

Hey guys, I play attack and I'm looking for a stiff head with a little pinch. I used to have a surgeon but it was too pinched and I'm wondering if I should get a stallion or an evo pro 2.0.

I need a new defense head. I don't like wide heads like the X10 so like any width through the X10 and Proton power is a good width for me. So what's the best head the edge, Evo 3, or the stallion!? Please help

i used two of them broke both of them in the same weekend the throut pinchs real quick and its to stiff for faceoffs.

I dont know if im gunna take face offs in highschool. I do now and i wanna know if this is a good middie head even if i dont take face offs. If it is not should i get the super power or something else?

I like the Stallion more, super stiff great head and the evo 3 is good too but I would go with the Stallion because I think STX makes a bit stronger heads in my opinion.

not for lsm or close d with all the plastic at the bottom i figured it would be good but it wasnt it broke on the bottom left side were the bottom of the c channel is after 2 days im a lsm and threw a poke check at a kids stick and snapped it

I have had this head for a couple months now and it is really good for face-offs but ground balls can be tricky because the head is so stiff.

id get the surgeon, it has a larger scoop id i think it has more holes, i just got one and its tough as hell

I had the same problem. I quess it depends on what qualities you like in a head. I got the surgeon because i have a ceo and love it and the surgeon and ceo are similar. But i coudnt decide cuz i face and have heard that the surgeon warps bad.

get the super power, the stallion is a face off head, the stx surgeon is also a good for an attackmen.
