I thought this was a great starting chest pad, it had great protection unless people start shooting over 70mps, then you have a problem!!! This is also a great chest pad for girls lacrosse because no1 shoots over like 50 in girls |

i have this chest gaurd and i think its pretty good its not very comfortable but niether is gettin hit with a ball a 120 mph. If you dont wanna feel the pain when you get hit then go play tennis or some other woose sport. BTW I wear one of those nike football shirts with the pads made in. Its kinda like under armor but but made by nike that helps too it still hurts a little though but hey thats what goalie is about. |

these being the cheapest pads can be expected to be the worst but they go beyond that. no protection very uncomfortable only time i would use it is not even for lacrosse |

ive been playing goalie for about 11 years and have had 4 chest pads in that time. ive taken so many shots to the chest n stomach during my time playin n have never had any problems but all i can say is dont anyone get this cp, its a piece of crap. i wouldnt recommend it to anyone. the airzone for the added chest protection dosent even work, i got hit in it from a shot n couldnt breath n had a pain in my chest for the rest of the day. plus the straps on the pad dont even stay in place, if you tighten them they just come loose as soon as you put the pad on. basically if you like wasting money buy this otherwise look at a different product.
goalie jim!!!! |

of course its going to hurt, its a lacrosse ball going over 70 miles usually. the point of a cp is so that the shot wont kill you... this cp is for 6th graders and below. maybe womens since they cannot shoot faster than 70 usually, or at least ive never seen or heard about it. |

I would recommend the Brine Supercrosse BP, I have been goalie for 4 years and I have not had one problem with it, but the only thing is that the straps slide. |
