WTF - 5/07/11 reply

yo, i would rather cut my self and play than this it this a joke. wow cool its black and red woah. my friend had this whole set and the first castcade helm and he deff sucks
Mannnn - 9/25/12 reply

What are you talking about? I wear these things everywhere. The other a day my friend shot me in the chest with his sig and it bounced right off! Get these pads!!
(no subject) - 11/05/10 reply

After cutting off the shoulder pads they were really good, a lot lighter, with stil a lot of good protection.
(no subject) - 9/14/10 reply

I would say to spend your money on something better, but if this is your budget it will do. What I did was cut off the shoulder caps and the pads on the chest and back. BEWARE! removing the shoulder caps removes the attachment for the arm pads if you want them, but you can still loop them around the pads themselves. After this it is very light and comfortable, and decent protection. Good for the price.
Very ggod - 6/27/10 reply

d - 5/22/10 reply

good for d?
good - 5/21/10 reply

these are pretty good. they are really comfotable, and have as much protection as the k18 II's. if ur just starting, they are good. even if u've been playing for 5 years, they are good. good, cheap, shoulder pads.
awful - 5/09/10 reply

ugly, no protection and almost as bad as the stick that comes with the package.
GREAT... with improvisation - 2/10/10 reply

cut the ugly extra dildo shaped thing on the chest and a few strings on the shoulder parts and this things great and cheap.
Thess pads are - 2/08/10 reply

COMFORTABLE!!! I just started playing lacrosse and I got these pads for the season... Ive only worn them a couple of times but when I did they were comfortable and felt good. Great buy :D
ok pads - 1/25/10 reply

i have these right now and they r ok but the arm things and the chest piece are really irritating. I just ordered the k18 2 shoulder pads and i will give a review on them when i get 'em. (they look pretty awesome!)
!!! - 11/13/09 reply

horrible.(looking for pads, dont go with stinger!!)
These or gait Icon Sp Liner? - 8/30/09 reply

not bad once you... - 4/28/09 reply

... take off the wings(armpads). its not that heavy, has good protection, and is pretty comfortable. good buy
Tip for these pads. - 3/08/09 reply

I cut the chest piece off, buy and cut, thats all you have to do. Now they give me a lot of protection, mobility, and comfort...Kick ass.
(no subject) - 4/13/09 reply

wow your a duechebag - 3/22/09 reply

you acually pay more attention to the price than what they have to offer, i bet you got your parents to buy each item of padding for u atleast over $100
true that - 4/10/09 reply

read this - 1/31/09 reply

h - 1/03/09 reply

In short, great manuverability, mediocre protection.
and... - 1/03/09 reply

they're ugly in a jersey. i had to cut of the front thing and make a little snip under the shoulder caps to stop them from looking like oversized shoulderblades in my jersey.
(no subject) - 12/02/08 reply

Alright these pads absolutly suck but im gonna have to say if you like light weight as if you dont have any protection on when you play they're great. I love these things because they dont limit me to my speed as a middy and I can get around the D man as quickly as I can for the shot or pass.
cut everything off - 11/15/08 reply

my friend has these and he cut everything shoulder caps and the chest thing off and there sick
wow - 12/01/08 reply

lol i thought i was the only one that thought of that. I have these as well, only bad piece of equipment i used until i cut off the extra chest protection but the shoulder things dont really bother me.
awesome - 10/25/08 reply

yea they are beginner pads, but they are amazing if you just cut everything off. i play attack and they are great. they still offer protection, but they dont ride up or stick out at all. they are awesome
question - 10/22/08 reply

im a freshman in high school and im not really a begginer i play attacks anyone hav any suggestions in which pads i should get
begginer - 9/27/08 reply

great for the beginner player. they are nice for the price but a little to bulky
good for beginner - 8/17/08 reply

it works and is not expensive
Not good - 7/17/08 reply

Horrible protection.
dont buy - 6/02/08 reply

ever even if you are a newb get something different
READ very important!!!!!!!!!!! - 5/28/08 reply

this equipment sucks when u put ur jersey on it look s like u have something sticking out of ur chest
(no subject) - 9/05/08 reply

ya i know it sux
READ - 5/28/08 reply

Well... - 5/25/08 reply

There are a few downers. At first the air pad sticks out so it looks like you have a huge boob. And if you take the thing that goes below the shoulder (forget the word) the shoulder protection isn't great, so I use these for defense.
eh... - 4/25/08 reply

its ok, im pretty much a beginner, they do the job, but when i put them on, i felt like i was a girl because there was a huge amount of padding on the chest,
Nice - 4/20/08 reply

There good for the money. Not top noch, but i play attack and im still mobile and have scored 10 goals in 4 games with them. So for those of you who say they are too bulky, that may be true but it doesn't affect your play at all.
Good - 3/28/08 reply

They're good. I got them. Good protection. A little bulky, but no big deal.
great - 3/21/08 reply

been using them for 2 years now my bro got the choppers and i would get these over them
beginer? - 2/28/08 reply

im not exactly a beginer. but i need some cheap pads and these look pretty good. im a sophmore in hingh school. im a defender i dont need any hard core 130$ stuff. right?
pads - 3/09/08 reply

if you play d like u say and ur in highschool dont get these get a little better ones
Get these - 3/18/08 reply

I would sugest the warrior adrenaline sp 7.0, if you like warrior (i hate warrior)
protection - 2/21/08 reply

is it any good?? good price so just wondering is it a good deal??
theyre actually pretty good - 12/18/06 reply

as some people have said theyre good for beginners i started paying lax in may 06 and i made the tristate team (best team in the tri state area) and had to use the schools stuff and they had this they actually are pretty light (well maybe casuse im a 210lb d man but thats ur decison) and you get good protection but i suggest dont take the arm pads off first day i took them off o got wacked right where theyre spose to cover and had a big ol bruse there for about 2 weeks but yea ive taken alot of shots and didnt feel a thing each time it hit me in the chest, good for the money i say
Horrible - 11/02/06 reply

i used these pads last year and they suck, they feel to bulky and restrict your range of motion. the added chest pad is just annoying and gets in the way, i ended up ripping it off an dplaying wihtout it. I suggest the warrior hitman
yes! - 3/11/09 reply

this guy read my mind, i had these..they sucked. i just ordered the 8.0 and there awesome. i also heard the 5.5 are sweet.
they SUCK - 10/13/06 reply

Really Really REALLY CHEAP!!!!!!
(no subject) - 4/06/08 reply

they're begginer no kidding
r these any good? - 7/14/06 reply

are these good for a first year middie freshman in highschool
Looks like the rival - 6/28/06 reply

I just started playing lax and i got the stx rival pads. Theyre not shown on this website, however they look almost exactly the same as these. has anyone had both and can tell me the difference? Thanks
(no subject) - 9/30/07 reply

Rival's are a overall bit better, but there really isn't much difference.
(no subject) - 4/09/06 reply

i got the spartans right now and im pretty happy with them b/c there light and dont get in the way but im considerin buyin new pads r these worth gettin
no - 5/01/06 reply

They suck. i only have them cuz im a beginner and a defender and i dont need good pads.
Lol - 7/14/06 reply

Lol its jus funny how u said u were a begginer like that, well ive seen friends with these and i thought about getting them because they dont look bulky which is all i care about honestly, i would jus take off those extra arm attachments off though because they get in the way but not even these look bad. Or u can get the Super crosse pads but dont get the super crosse Pro ones, those look really bulky
COMFORT? - 3/31/06 reply

Are they comfortable for a middie to run up and down the field in , and also does i breathe good? Thank You!
good - 3/18/06 reply

these are good and have good protection there just a little bulky and the air bag thing on the inside of them is unnessacery but over all good for the price but if you have the money go for the warrior hitmans they probably the best choice
(no subject) - 3/09/06 reply

The chest is a bit ridiculous, but otherwise these are good pads
pretty good - 3/01/06 reply

these chest pads are ok they have pretty good protection and comfort although the front pad is a bit bulky. definitely great for the price i'd recommend. if you have the money to get something a little bit more expensive i'd go with the Warrior Hitman SP 5.0
Great for the price. - 2/07/06 reply

I headed down to the local lax store and tired on some pads, and I found these to be by far the best deal out there. They are very comfortable, not restrictive, and are really cheap. I won't tell you they are just as good as 100+ pads because they arn't but they definatly are not 60 dollars worth worse. They do feel a little bulky wearing them because of the air pocket in the chest, but its more looking goofy with a huge chest than feeling funny on you. I play D and I think these pads are the best I could find in the price range. I'd recommend to anyone that wants some new SPs and doesn't want to fork out a ton of cash.
(no subject) - 1/25/06 reply

Very good for middies and i dont think its bulky at all i have it and its very comfortable
A Little Bulky - 12/21/05 reply

The chest are is well protected but kinda bulky, but overall they appear to be decent! If you can find some though, go with the STX Exo's.
question - 12/17/05 reply

is this any good for midies?
(no subject) - 1/27/06 reply
