Get a warrior traditional kit over STX....I bot mine a day ago and just played pass w/ it and one of the leathers already snaped.....i say warrior over STX in kits and i wouldnt recomend u get.....TRUST ME
Ok for all you new stringers....any mesh will fit on any lacrosse head as long as it is not a goalie or fiddle stick head. So I recommend warrior hard mesh because you can't go wrong with it.
i don't know if it was just me but when ever i got the mesh wet it would get super soft and it would cause the stick to have so much whip you couldn't even throw with it.
go to a store that has lacrosse mesh kits in it and feel the mesh at the store, some hard mesh kits, even from the same brand, don't come as hard as others. but if you want to buy traditional you're safe buying online.
any type of mesh kit or any kit for that matter can be used on any head with the exception of goalie heads which would take a lot more string and skill to attach a regular mesh to than goalie mesh.
this is stx dura mesh its the softest hard mesh out the if u cant string it so it has a legal pocket then u suk at stringing the ball will sit high in this mesh unless u make the bottom very loose dont buy unless u like alot of hold or whip in ur stik if u want harder mesh the colered mesh peices come realy stiff the dura mesh is looser or less stiff
i just got the traditional kit yesterday and its the best tradtional stringing kit i have used so far. I have used the brine and the warrior one and this is the best i think. But i do have to say that the directions that came with it wernt as good as the warrior directions. I had strung many traditionals before so i didnt need the directions.
This is the worst piece of crap ever made. I strung my nitrous with it and is crap. Its impossible to make the pocket legal. Also, when I first used and throughout the time that I had it every time I'd catch the ball a little poof of the mesh would fall off. Its crap
Typically, I am a HUGE fan of STX products, though, to be honest, their Mesh kits suck. The Diamonds are too wide and it never seems to go on as nice as Warrior Mesh does. Granted it has a MUCH, MUCH shorter break in time, the mesh is just not as good quality.
From my experience, this is the best stringing kit out there. It does need more sidewall string but all of the other kits are lacking stuff that needs to be there.
from experience, brine seems to make the worst kits, the mesh is really stiff and hard and everything, the warriors are ok, but i like the stxs alot, i love the mesh...alot of people say all mesh is the same, but its really not, the flexibility and softness can vary throughout different brands' hard mesh kits
DO NOT BUY THIS KIT IN DURAMESH! STX now uses a synthetic coat on the duramesh, it is impossible to create decent pocket becuase it is rock hard! I have been using stx kits for 4 years and until now they have been the best. go check the kits out at your local store cause the mesh is not easy to work with!
hope i helped...

yea, this is the cooolest. dont just string regular traditional, go to e-lacrosse.com and make a nasty pocket like the quaser pocket. Make sure u have enough string first.
I like the stx kits i just restrung my wizard and the dura mesh is really good, if you dont know how to string the stx kits are not the best at explaining it but brine is a good kit for a beginer. If you know what your doing get the stx, if your just starting go with the brine. peace
I would like to purchase a repair mesh kit for a stx laser/lite defense lacross stick. Which one do I get? It is a present for my husband. Thanks, Linda Price
the warrior string kit goes perfect wid my cyber. im gonna try STX mesh next time i restring one of my sticks, but the warrior kits are WAY better than brine, i know that from experience.
i refuse to buy any warrior equipment.. all warrior stuff is for sell out players who wanna buy the most expensive stuff to look like the #1 player on the team... the only warrior equip i have bought were gloves (but i use my xfactor gelz now.. much better) actually i won a evo on a krypto in a raffle... too bad the evo is broken and the krypto has the hugest dent ever... i love my brine stuff... i got a vapor and an f55.. right now i am using my stx sniper on my f55 cause i play x & crease... i dont care if i am buying something that isnt hyped by cp or rp... i just know the stuff i play w/ suits me the best.
have you ever thought that maybe warrior stuff suits us better and trust me im no sellout player. I am leading scorer in my league. I play box in Canada and in three games i have 27 points and all i use is warrior stuff the shafts are light and strong the heads have nice offsets and a nice pinched face to them all though i admit the necks arent really that stong and the gear is comfortable and light wieght.
warrior kicks @$$, everyone agrees, look at some reviews on brine stuff, plenty of people say it sucks, warrior is very high quality and not expensive at all!!
holy $hit that was hillarious. what do you think? of course you can..................................................................................dumba$$.............................
give the guy a break, maybe he doesn't know, we don't all know everything... there's no reason to insult people, no matter how obvious the question is!!
