Additional stringing holes allow for easier custom stringing. STX forward cant. Legal for both HS/Youth and NCAA.
The Super Power is our second best selling head of all time. The Super Power mimics the design of the all time best seller, the Proton Power. The head is uniquely shaped at the scoop and throat, reducing constriction and increasing playability. A complete head you will find at any level, from youth to advanced leagues. Faceoffs - 8/11/15 reply

I would just like to say that for all of the people saying that this head sucks, that they are wrong. Personally i have both this and a nike CEO and perfer this at x. The ceo is also a solid all around head but i love this thing. Sure it pinches quickly but its easy to manage. The CEO does the same thing but is nicer for all around play. If you are more of a shooter go with the ceo but if your a faceoff guy, i would say go with the super power
(no subject) - 9/08/15 reply

There's a lot of preference, I personally prefer the CEO for faceoffs. But you are right, it's an absolutely great head... The hourglassing is definitely manageable. The Lakota U also does it after a couple of hundred faceoffs.
Great head - 7/16/15 reply

Even though this head does hourglass pinch, it's still an amazing head. Since its such a long and somewhat bendy head you can catch almost anything with this head. You should buy a few though. Also, the guys from mainely mesh on youtube have an amazing pattern for this head. you should boil this head when it does become pinched itll fix your problem for about a season
(no subject) - 6/25/15 reply

This or the Ceo? I take faceoffs but after that I change to attack help
Tanner - 7/31/15 reply

Get the CEO
good head - 5/27/15 reply

I play crease attack, great for offensive player
Surgeon - 5/26/15 reply

Go with the surgeon 500 it's better for face offs even thou the superpower is awesome.
Stallion - 5/26/15 reply

Go with the stallion 500 it's better for face offs and is pritty stiff even thou the superpower is awesome.
super power or surgeon - 5/17/15 reply

I don't know witch one I use the surgeon 500 or the superpower. I play midi and defense. I take face offs and I play everything with my short. I just don't know between the surgeon and the super power
Surgeon - 5/26/15 reply

Go with the surgeon 500 it's better for face offs even thou the superpower is awesome.
Pocket - 5/10/15 reply

Where does the pocket go. I'm looking for a mid to high
Pocket - 6/01/15 reply

It depends on what type of pocket you string not the head
LSM - 4/29/15 reply

Should I go with this or a stallion 500 U. I switch from LSM, Faceoff, and defense. I want a head that can stand up to these things.
need response - 4/21/15 reply

I'm looking for a great all around head Im a faceoff guy who stays on and plays o and d is this good for that??
reply for ryan clark - 4/26/15 reply

yes. this a great head for that type of stuff. and very good for face offs.
Hourglass pinching - 2/23/15 reply

I have an old super power from 2012. It's the version of the head with the black ball stop. My head keeps on hourglass pinching and it's really annoying. Does the new version of the super power with the white ball stop hourglass pinch as much as the old version of the head?
Proton Power vs. Proton Super - 1/24/15 reply

which is better the Proton power or the Proton Super Power
(no subject) - 1/25/15 reply

superpower. i have had mine for 2years. the proton power is much stiffer. This is a great head ofr a midfielder. The only thing it doesn't do well is 1 hand cradle...
Proton Power vs. Proton Super - 1/24/15 reply

this or ceo - 1/04/15 reply

i need to know this or the ceo for attack
Reply - 4/28/15 reply

(no subject) - 9/24/14 reply

I play right wing attack - 8/18/14 reply

Should I get this or the nike lakota with a traditional pocket
(no subject) - 8/20/14 reply

get the lakota witha traditional. I play right attack and use a lakota with a trad and to me personally it feels great and the lakota is the perfect head to put one in.
(no subject) - 8/13/14 reply

i play right wing attack should i get this or the ceo
(no subject) - 8/14/14 reply

I would definitely go with this
(no subject) - 11/15/14 reply

ceo super power sucks
Reply - 4/28/15 reply

ceo is better for atack
This or the lakota - 8/13/14 reply

I play attack I already have one but I want a lakota as we'll and I don't know what head is better for attack that's can have a really nice mid high pocket.
This - 6/26/14 reply

This because it flexes better but if you like stiff go with proton. Proton is a lot more pinched to
Faceoffs - 6/26/14 reply

I have the CEO and it takes faceoffs like a dream but I only used it for one season and it is warped out of use, should I get this or the proton power 2 for faceoffs and agressive Middie?
Designed for FO - 8/01/14 reply

It was one of STX's heads that they designed for college face-off use, but for some reason most use the Professor
warp ??? - 6/14/14 reply

does it warp
HELP !!!!!!! - 6/14/14 reply

this or lakota thanks
what - 5/31/14 reply

this or stallion u 500
Super Power-ful - 5/20/14 reply

Got mine strung for faceoffs. Great head all around, with good strength and weight. My pocket is a low-mid with 3 straight shooters, great for faceoffs and passing as well as shots every now and then. I would recommend it to any midfielders but maybe only skilled attackmen
STX Super Power - 5/08/14 reply

This is my favorite head for facing off as a middie. it does the job and has a good pinch for clamping the ball on FOGO. If you are looking for a FOGO head, the STX Super Power is the way to go
Ideas? - 5/05/14 reply

Super Power with C-channel? y
(no subject) - 4/27/14 reply

this or stallion for middie
Head - 4/20/14 reply

Definitely my next head
Which? - 3/26/14 reply

I play attack, should I get this, the clutch or ceo?
(no subject) - 4/05/14 reply

This definitely, I use it for faceoff and after a season it still works perfectly and shoots perfectly

Mesh - 4/20/14 reply

On the lax.com pro strung it comes with their own brand mesh or East Coast
Heads for beginners - 11/30/13 reply

The sport of LAX is FINALLY catching on in Wichita KS. I am coaching 27 "littles" in our league. 2nd-5th graders. Boys and girls. What is a good head for the kids to learn on? The kids are pretty much learning all the positions and the mids get to rotate face offs. That's where the problem is coming in. They need a head that won't hourglass in and be stiff enough, yet still be able to scoop ground balls. (Some kids have been playing four years--others first time) The kids are loving the game--but get frustrated with their heads at times. Any suggestions? I just want an all around good head.
Kiefer - 12/01/13 reply

Nike CEO is a very good faceoff head. I know Mike Poppleton used it over the summer and I know I would use it too. Not sure how it is for GB's but it cant be bad. Super Power is also good, although I would choose the CEO over the Super Power. Super Power is very good for GB's. Hope that helps.
head for beginners - 12/04/13 reply

well they are younger kids and beginners so go with a wider head for catching. i would recommend something cheap because lets face it they are going to ding it up. for example gait torque 3s or other heads like that.
(no subject) - 2/23/14 reply

For 4th year players i would say a super power or a brine clutch 3 but for first and second year you don't wanna get a nice head and have them quit so i would say a brine tork 3
yeahhhhhh! - 11/23/13 reply

great head. so light and the perfect stiffness for face-offs.
Proton power and super - 11/23/13 reply

The only dif i think is that the super power is NCAA legal and the proton is hs legal. Same price your choice
Shaft for this head - 11/14/13 reply

what is a good shaft to go with this stick?
gait ice - 11/19/13 reply

faceoff - 11/13/13 reply

is this a good face off head fro middies because my brine is coming apart
(no subject) - 10/28/13 reply

What is difference between proton power 2 and super power.
(no subject) - 11/27/13 reply

pp2 is stiffer, sp is wider, more flexible and heavier
ecm - 9/21/13 reply

is it 15mm?
(no subject) - 10/29/13 reply

Faceoff head - 9/03/13 reply

I take Faceoff and play a little bit of attack and I was looking for a reliable and good Faceoff head, I was thinking this or the Brine Clutch
(no subject) - 9/28/13 reply

dont get the clutch for faceoffs, it has to much pinch and is too flimsy. the clutch is a great attack head i have one.
stringing - 8/11/13 reply

Is the ECM one actually string by the eastcoastdyes/stylinstrings guys or is it just their regular stringing w/ the ECM in it
(no subject) - 9/02/13 reply

stringing. - 8/11/13 reply

This or Rabil X - 7/23/13 reply

I don't take face offs but I'm looking for a great head for middie
(no subject) - 10/29/13 reply

Go Rabil X, I got one and it's awesome!
worth price? - 7/17/13 reply

i was wondering if this was a good face off head and if it was worth the price. I have a clutch 2x and it is not the best for face offs. I want a head that can do it all, Take face offs, shoot well and scoop ground balls well. will this do the job?
(no subject) - 10/14/13 reply

Go with a Blade Pro or any other semi-flexible head. the Blade Pro was designed to be the all-around head for a midfielder.
Will it fit? - 7/14/13 reply

BEST HEAD EVER!!! - 7/08/13 reply

I'm a faceoff middie and this head is great. The head is very flexible and doesn't break. The only problem is when i do a pinch and pop the head warps slightly but its an easy fix. All i do is pull it back easily. Overall: Great!
which head? - 6/23/13 reply

should i get the proton power 2 or this?
Get this - 8/15/13 reply

Get this!!!!!!!
(no subject) - 6/16/13 reply

does this fit on the surgeon or the kryptolyte because the laxworld guy said it did but i cant get it on
(no subject) - 6/16/13 reply

Good for faceoffs only problem is it will hourglass quickly if you really take a lot of draws
Get it now!! - 5/29/13 reply

perfect for any type of play. Most guys don't recommend for faceoffs, but I hardly ever take any as an attack man. Scooping ground balls might be a little annoying, i've snagged the ground and bent it back once or twice, but nothing a little hustle can't fix. Great holes for stringing, very easy and you gotta love the shape of it. Highly recommend for any level of play.
Fit? - 5/27/13 reply

Will this head fit on the STX Surgeon SC-TI?
(no subject) - 5/27/13 reply

usually every head fits on every stick
Head - 5/16/13 reply

I'm thinking of getting this, a lakota, a legacy, or a proton power, any preference?
(no subject) - 5/17/13 reply

depends on what you play, I love this and the lakota the PP is way to pinched and i've seen to many snap. the SP is a great offensive head
New PP - 5/20/13 reply

Get the new PP its a beast.
this one - 5/20/13 reply

(no subject) - 6/13/13 reply

i have the legacy, its an ok head but i find it hard to string for some reason, I'm saving up for the proton. i would recommend proton
(no subject) - 5/14/13 reply

i have this on my gait ice and it is amazing but i was wondering if this head is good for lsm and defence
SP for defense - 5/19/13 reply

This is an amazing head for offense. It is a little to narrow for defense. If you are looking for a great defensive head I would recommend the hammer or the X10. Again head is smaller and more narrow.
thanks - 5/30/13 reply

(no subject) - 5/19/13 reply

Its alright for defense and lsm. Not as effective as it is and offensive head but its nice and stiff for the poke checks. If you are looking for a lsm/defensive STX head then i recommend the X10 or Xcallibur.
amazing head - 5/08/13 reply

hasn't warped, good all around head, i use this as a middy and attack, if strung right the head is just perfect
Stx Heads - 5/05/13 reply

I don't know whether to buy the proton power or the super power. I have heard that the super power hourglasses like crazy, but also the some of the proton powers have defects. Any thoughts or advice?

(no subject) - 3/19/13 reply

Would this fit a Warrior Gnar?
yes - 3/20/13 reply

Any head fits on a shaft its just matter of screw placement. If it is wobbling a little, you can put tape around the shaft and jam the head on

(no subject) - 3/22/13 reply

the pro strung is done by paol Rabi so what do you think?
Awful - 3/28/13 reply

Get a real stringer to string yours, I ordered a "pro" strung from them and the pocket was more shallow than a kiddy pool.
(no subject) - 4/29/13 reply

It sucks just look up a tutoriolal on YouTube, that will work much better
(no subject) - 5/08/13 reply

bad stringing, i bought it pre strung and it had no pocket or hold, i added east coast mesh and two u shooters and now its legit, the stringing didn't do much good for the head

(no subject) - 3/02/13 reply

Faceoffs - 2/24/13 reply

How is this head for faceoffs?
(no subject) - 3/02/13 reply

Good, but it does warp very very very easily.
(no subject) - 3/05/13 reply

Eh, not really good in my opinion. The super power is a really stiff head and it will break SO easily. I had one last year and loved it, did a couple faceoffs with it but the right sidewall broke by the end of the season. Just got a new one this year for attack. If you're willing to take the risk to spend 90 dollars for a stiff faceoff head, be my guest bud.
(no subject) - 1/31/13 reply

i am a former defender and i would go with the hammer great head
(no subject) - 1/31/13 reply

THIS HEAD IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! i used my friends head on the new surgeon sti-ti AMAZING i do not reccomend for defenders because the head is not stiff but quite flexible Great for face off middies like me.
(no subject) - 3/22/13 reply

BUT are your really the ultimate middie? I think paol rabbil is sorry brah chacho

Nice head but close to minimum string holes which restricts stringing options
Wrong head? - 12/27/12 reply

There's plenty. The Proton Power has nearly any. The Super Power has plenty of stringing holes, as shown in the picture.
