Follows the aerodynamic and streamlined design of the game's best head, the Proton Power. Reinforced scoop design strengthens the scoop as well as the siderails. Additional stringing holes allow for easier custom stringing. STX forward cant. Legal for both HS/Youth and NCAA.
Hands down this is the best universal offensive head I have used. It is incredibly light and can be baked for more flexibility on faceoffs, or left alone. Having used the stallion aswell, I can safely say this head is very reliable and will work great for any middie or attackman
I play attack and this is my first year. I can catch and throw correctly and have no trouble with my Viper 2 and Maverik Wonderboy. I want a more pinched head than my Viper 2 because I need more ball control. Will this head be good with the Maverik Wonderboy?
i play attack and everyone says rock it pockets are so good and all, so should i get a rock it pocket on a super power? would that be a good set up with a vanaduim pro grip shaft? the sp would be red, the rp would have white leathers red channel and gray shooters, (school colors are gray/red)
I got the STX Surgeon instead of this (I mostly play attack) and I'm kind of regretting it. I like to play different positions and the Surgeon limits me to attack. I can't take face-offs with it because it's so stiff. So if I want to play middie, should I get the Super Power or the Proton Power?
the face off guy on my team has a super power and it warps really bad , but thats only because he faces off with it, and our other face off guy has the proton power and it hasnt warped from what i can tell but if i were a face off middie i wouldnt get whith either of them, i would go with the stallion
This head is really nice. I mistaked it for having a more pinched shape than the proton power. But I was wrong. Which do you think is better Proton or Super?
I have both of them. Proton power improved my shot speed I have it with the gait ice and it is the BEST. Super power is more of a middy head. Its little more durable and less piched.
The Proton Power is a great middie head. I have had mine for 3 years and it hasn't warped much, as long as you don't take face-offs and and do not constantly throw slashes, it's a pretty flexible, durable slim head.
thanks dude also would you perfer the proton power or surgeon beacause my friend i play with hes also a middie and he uses the surgeon and says its great so im stuck between the two
What stringing setup would you recommend for an attackman using this head?
right now im using a clutch 2 with the regular 2 across and a V but i might wanna change things up and maybe throw a nylon or 2 in there.
Are there any defense man out there that use this head, and when i say use this head i mean poke and slap hard and get in sruffs for ground balls, that can tell me if it is really a good head for defese
my evo 2 just snapped today and i was gonna buy this head from my buddy, how is it with gbs. Thats the biggest factor with a head for me, a good string job can fix anything but that.
im an attack, should i pick this? or the
warrior swarm x
brine witness x
maverik spider
or what you prefer??
i need something with the fastest shot and best accuracy
This head is good for almost any shaft. I would consider getting a different shaft to be honest. I like the wonderboy, just isn't my first choice. A brine clutch x is probably the best for that shaft though. Just personal preference.
I had this head for 3 years and it didnt snap yet. Also it is amazing with the old Scandium pro.Very light and durable. It is so durable I dont even have a backup head
in my opinion this is the best head that any midi or attackman can buy. it's not too stiff but not too flexible and doesnt warp easily. its so easy to string any way you want and its as pinched as all practicality calls for. i love it and will most likely never buy a different head.
The evo is way more stiff. this is more pinched. i have this and have tried the evo and its not that great but go for it if you want a more flexible head.
I have had this head for around a year and a half and absolutely love it. Its hold is incredible, it lasts half a lifetime, and amazing on faceoffs. this is the best head ever created for midfielders. but I've never tried the stallion so i can't completely compare the 2
I play attack and i want a stiff head...i have had a proton power but it warped very easily and was to flexy for me. would this be a good head to buy? HELP!
I got this because my deuce was getting a little old and I love it. It's not quite as pinched as I like, but that was easily fixable. It was pretty easy to string. It's very light. And it makes ground balls effortless. I play attack, so flexibility doesn't matter to me but it's pretty flexible. I had to fight to get it on, but it fits on my gait 803. I highly recommend it.
This head is great. Have had mine for almost 3 years and it is still strong and throws great. This is the best head, i think, for middies because it has the perfect amount of flex for face-offs.
