String it the way it is in the pic. that is how I have it and it is sweet. no throwing issues at all.

Ive been playin for a while now just strung this bad boy up on a vandiumgrip what style should i set the shooting strings up for this though?

Just bought this head and really looking forward to playing with it. I have some old Edge heads and a new STX revolver pro. But I bought the viper2 because it's light (significantly lighter than the revo pro or either of my older Edge's), has a nice pinch and on top of all of that it cost $60 unstring. Can't beat that price. Put this head on a brine F15 shaft and you have a very good offensive stick for just over $100 (Less than cost of a Warrior: Evo Ti head). Put it on a nicer shaft like a maverik H2 and you have a pretty sick offensive stick for under $175.

if im an attack men should i buy this head??

i like it on attack. ive been using it so far in three games playing mid and attack. it has an ok pinch. pretty easy to string with regular hard mesh. with 2 straight nylons and a u its really accurate. ball control is great and it has an ok shot speed

to anyone who cares, i have had this head for a while, its fairly stiff, and has a great combination of pinch with other great qualities. Scoop isn't great (but then again im used to using the torque so maybe i have super high standards) get this head if youre a middie looking for a head and don't want to spend a crapload of money

Very good, if you get it strung, make sure you loosen the strings in the way back and the sidewalls. Makes it hard to drop the ball while cradling.

if you are an absolute beginner with no idea if you will continue the sport, al600 and an av8 is a cheap but reasonable stick to get. if you have money to spend, and know you will continue the sport, the stx vandium shaft with a proton is really really nice if strung right

or if your d getting a bionic would be better because its stiffer, but anything else a proton would be good and you can pinch it once you get better

I am a middy and am wondering what head I should get this or revolver. I've been playin for a year and have a rebounder so I'm not worried about the pinch of the revolver bein too much. I was just wonderin if the revolver is worth the extra 25 bucks over this? Any help will be appreciated

Traditional stringing is the worst thing you can do to a head. Why do you think they stopped stringing them that way and started using mesh. its kind of like y does the army use a predator drone insted of a actual person flying a plane. the plane is out dated!

ok herees the break down, attack head get proton power its an amazing pinch defense get brine clutch it has w ider head for easier cathciing and is stronger, for middie get super power its the same as proton power but much much stringer loghter pinch but has better ball control and for ovverall goodnes get a brine cltuch x

i'm a middy and i have it on a gait ice (lightest thing ever created). and mine is most certainly more pinched then this picture, i think they could have done a better job with the scoop but it gets the job done. Good head if u dont want to spend to much money. i suggest hard mesh, or 6d if ur a dpole.

do not get the e3 tht head is not nearly as good as the evo or viper, but between those i think u should get the viper 2 over the evo 2.o because i had an evo and it snapped

i just got the v2 its really good with shooting and passing. never tried face off with it but i could tell you its pretty stiff. i had the e3 and did faceoff which was actually pretty good. i would go with v2. juice is more defense head

Strung well, this head is pretty awesome. I play mid, and I like the accuracy of this thing in particular. Ground balls just get sucked up. the head itself starts out reasonably stiff and then turn into a little bit of a noodle.

this is a great head but if ur an intense poke/slap guy like me it kinda bends but u can bend it back also it tends to pinch itself a little. its not like even close to illeagal im just saying it gets narrower

I went to a local sports store and got a clutch and love it. It has good control and a crazy fast shot. Light too. Clutch+Swizzbeat= very light.

yea it makes for a well balanced stick i used that combination for a while its really compfordable

i warped my stiffi when i played d. i use the viper 2 now because i play starting varsity lsm. the stiffi is sick and cheap now but the v2 is wayyy better. idk anything about the evo ti tho.

this is a great head. first off it should be a lot more expensive but its not which is a plus. second i play varsity lsm and this head is made for it.it seems flimsy but it holds up to checks really well.it is extremely light which i like and is the easiest head to string. easy to catch because its somewhat wide but w.e. also u cant miss groundballs if this head is in front of it.

I play D and some LSM for JV lacrosse, want a head with good catching, ground balls and throwing. I throw a few checks here and there but not too heavy on checking. My STX Profile just broke after 3 years of use and i'm wondering if i should get another one of those, a viper2 or a cyber pro. I loved the feel of my Profile and want to get an other but i want to start throwing maor/harder checks and affraid it can't hold up to that much of a beating. The viper2 looks a lot like the Profile and has the same design but a little less pinch. I can get a Cyber Pro strung(badly) for $70. What head should i go with?

revo pro or revo 2.0 there great heads for dpoles, and pretty much all warrior heads have a ez scoop desgin which is great for ground balls

I play D and LSM and I have the STX proton+ traditional strung on a Scandium Pro and its accurate and great for ground balls I highly recommended it.
