OK im a D player and i cant deside from the F22 or the Zirconium Which is more durable

i got both of them the f22 is a little heavyer not much then the zirconiums but its harded tho the paint will chip off if you get a white one like me.

What do you think is the lightest defensive shaft ranging from about $0-$100?

I have 3 proton powers, 2 with the zirconium shafts and the other with zirconium 7 shaft. They are by far the best set up for an attack men stick and offenzie middy. The shaft is light and strong, it absorbs slash's like no tommorrow only leaving behind a few stracths thats it. The price is perfect dont change it stx. Its a good shaft it might not have a cool name or design but whatever all lacrosse sticks are pretty much the same all your paying for is the name these days. I have had many fun times with this shaft. Dpoles i dont know.

I play middie and i'm looking to get a dpole to play lsm with. I can't spend a ton of money. also i have a super power or a cyber pro to put on it.

Ive got three of 'em now...two first generation. STILL not broken any of em. Ive broke wonderboys in a week, Warrior titanium's, and many others...NEVER a zirconium. Quite following the trends of high priced shafts and spend the money for two of these and you'll never need another shaft.

This shaft is awesome, its very light and extremely durable, i have never had any shaft thats more high end than this so i don't know if its way better than the scandium or whatever but this has huge bang for your buck, light, durable, and relatively cheap. Great for intermediate players

should i get this and cut it down to a goalie shaft?

this is the best shaft for its price. I won one at a tourny and didnt expect much out of it. 2 years later still going strong with one small dent. amazingly light and feels great. saw it online and didnt believe the price so i bought another

Personally I think all those insanely expensive shafts are overrated. This shaft is awesome. It's pretty light and strong and the feel in the hands is amazing. I have it as a long pole and it holds up really well. I straight up lifted an attackmen from under the arm and flung him a few feet without any damage to the shaft no bs, dead serious. It's very durable. I'd definitely recommend it.

With all of the $100 shafts out there this is a shaft I have found that this is a very underrated shaft based on its price. I have two of these (older model before they cleaned up the logo for the name on the shaft) and while I dont know if there has been any manufacturing changes to the new models of this shaft, the ones I have are almost 3 years old, and have gone through college seasons, summer tournys like Vail and mens leagues and are still fine. I've broken Wonderboys on day one, Titan Classics in only a few months, but these have never failed.

okay im new to playin defense and i want a durabel shaft and preferrably light i dont care about weight too much, mostly strength. i plan on checkin a lot and i want a shaft to hole up to me, im an agressive player. so my question is do i get this or a venadium it has to hold up for atleast two spring season and 1 or two indoor winter seasons. some who has used or knows some one whos used both please let me know

It is a good stick it is better then the vandium by a long shot, and the zirconium is only slgihtly heavier then the wonderboy but just as durable and there is no difference with the grip. It is also $20 cheaper then the wonderboy.

I had the Zirconium for a couple of weeks, it can resist checks decently without any dents or chipping, it did however bend VERY badly after I had an extreme impact on another player. It's pretty light, and there's decent grip on it. I would save my money though and go for something a little more durable.

I have it for center mid and I love it its light and feels great.If your going to get it for D my friend has one its durrable and can give those hard checks without breaking.

for one, why are you using a torque as a D head?? second, every shaft is the same size so it can fit any head If you play D, get this shaft, iv used one for 2 years and its hasnt gotten anything because scratches on the paint(no dents/bends) its indestructable

ive played with this stick for three years. its solid and strong. also ive used a warrior platinum. the shafts are equal stx abit stronger, warrior a bit lighter. as a back up stick get the platinum, it cheaper, but same feel.

Any 10 degree crankshaft. This Ziconium won't work. I would get a crankshaft grip, it is light and has good feel... If you havr the money the titanium is the best. the shift is ok, it is light but it is pretty pointless and then their is the 7075 regular which is a little heavier than a supra but it has no grip or anything. But if you can i would go with the crankshaft 10 degree grip. Go Midshipmen!

personally, i dont think the helix is a very good head for defense at all. You need something with a wider throat, like a stiffi or razer 2.0. thats just my opinion but you cant go wrong with this shaft

i have this shaft on d and it has only dented once (when my friend with anger issues hit it with a kryptolyte diamond as hard as he could). Its also very light.

This stick is amazing as a d-pole. I play LSM and I'm pretty aggressive out there with this, but it's held up so far, and it's great. I'd recommend this stick because the price is very good for such a good pole.

this thing is pretty great. i have a clutch on it. my coach has the gait ice shaft (supposed to be one of the lightest shafts ever) and a franchise head; you really cannot tell the difference in weight between our two setups. other players on my team are getting the zirc too. i play in indiana, and, well, some players arent exactly finess palyers. all they do is hit you as hard as they can, and this shaft has stood up to it incredibly; not even a dent on the thing! grip is average i think, i have it taped up and its perfect. zirconium all the way in my opinion

Also i need to know if the Brine Answer fits with this shaft without any hole drilling, and if so how to drill the hole. Thanks alot. I bought this for long pole. It's good. Some kids who have the really expensive sticks say it's heavy. I think it's perfect. Fair grip, it'll need tape though. Very durable. Good for the price.

i need a backup stick in case mine breaks would this hold up nicely until i got a new one?

thanks man. and in case you dont kno what green wave is, its the seven time state champ high school team from jersey. its a private school called delbarton which has lots of players in D1 college lax. 4 or 5 guys on princeton, 2 on duke (used to be 5 a couple years ago), as well as other schools. delbarton used to be ranked 3rd best HS team in the US by STX if i'm not mistaken but have since dropped to 9th after losing in state finals last year to their biggest rival.

hahaha no. attack sticks are the ones that are usually 40-42 inches long (the ones that you see most people playing with, like people who play attack and middie) and defense shafts (you might've heard your buddies call em d-poles) are usually 52-72 inches long and their the long ones that defensemen use
