Like it was said before, these came imprinted with a large GAIT by DEBEER logo right in the middle. If I wanted Gait ball stops, I would have ordered them. These should either be blank (like in the picture) or should say Warrior.

The ball stop actually has duel purposes. Not only does it protect the throat, but it also is somewhat cusioned (hense, that it protects the throat) so it also gives you the advantage of directly slowing down the ball so that it will go into your stick if caught at odd angles, so therefore it won't hit and fly back out. I can't figure out why you wouldn't want one in the first place...

it stops the ball from cracking the throat of da stick.w/out 1,you could break your stick if you catch a fast ball that hit your stick`s throat.
