Warrior blade 2.0 or STX viper2

yo this head is pretty good it has a nicer feel and also protects the ball well also wit some monster hard mesh itsss soo beast

My son has 2 blade 2.0's. One is a fogo, and that one just broke on check during practice. It's hardly been used, but was bought over six months ago, so it's out of warranty. It cracked in 2 places along the neck, where it is clearly very thin. I compared it with an old STX X2, and the X2 is way thicker, and it probably why it has survived. When buying a head, I would recommend looking carefully at the size of the neck.

This might sound dumb but i need a answer. i dyed this head, but i dont like the color what will happen if i re-dye it. will the colors mix or will it be the other color. help

if u dyed the head a color and then dyed it again the new color would hav to be darker or it wont work

What is the difference between the blade 2.0 and the fogo. i know the fogo is for face-off but still they look the same.

the bottom of the sidewell (where the head would touch if you layed it flat on the ground)...well its shorter in height and thinner so that it is probably quicker on the pinch for the face off and it is thinner so you will be able to get your head underneath your opponents before he gets his under yours. did that make any sense?

does anyone already have this or know if its lightt/heavy? idk but i heard it was heavy and im not gunna go by reviews because there are different comparisons for different people...so is this head light?

i am a faceoff guy but not just a fogo so i participate in all the aspects of the game and often shoot. ive narrowed it down to two heads this or the clutch

get this very flexible for face off and amazing ball control and gives off an amazing shot

I got it at a camp and it came with 6d warrior mesh. I really hate the mesh which is probably why i don't like the head as much as i should but i don't feel like buying mesh for it because its my backup for my backup head.

yoo chocka, this head doesnt have hold, the way you strung it has hold....get some one who knows how to string to string it with less hold...perhaps loosening your shooting strings would lessen the hold...

at camp i bought a kyrpto pro diamond with 2 dents for $25, the problem is it was a short stick and i play pole. i traded it too my friend for this with custom stringing and a swizzle with worn off grip because i needed a decent head. 2 Questions: 1 Was it a good trade? 2 Will this fit on an ice?

its nice and wide for knocking down passes but still pinched downlow giving you good hold, so if you dont mind a flimsy head on defense go for it

yeah. if your a crease attackman its easy to catch with cause its not pinched, and its a great head.

i have this head and i love it. only thing is that i have a ton of whip that i cant seem to get rid of. i have hard mesh and 3 shooting strings. how can i get rid of the whip or atleast tone it down. PLEASE HELP!!!

first you tighten all your shooting strings and dont tie them yet. then play some wall ball or have a pass with someone. dont worry how it trows at first. it will get better. when you throw, the ball will lossen the strings to how you throw because everyone throws different. and after a couple throws you should have it throwing to how you like it(alittle wip, no wip. what ever tickles your fancy. once you have it throwing perfect for you tie them shooters up but be careful the you tighten the the shooting string parts tho. just knot strings like 5 times then pull it tight so it doesnt tighten up the part inside the mest because they are perfect how they are. thats the best way to ajust your shooters. tell me if this helps you. the more you throw with the strings untied, the looser it will get and after on point start causing wip. hope this helps your problamo bro.

well if you make 2v's it should ruduce some of the whip

but wont that give me a intense amount of hold which will lead to more whip?

not if your shooters are gradually looser as you go down from the top of the head

false. v's give you the most hold. if you truly want more or less hold, you have to restring the entire head. smaller/higher pocket = less hold and lower/deeper pocket = more hold. get some one who knows what they are doing to string your head too.

the evo is a little smaller, and i'm not sure if its better at faceoffs. i love the blade 2.0, i'm. it has a more open face, which takes a little while to get used to, but i love it

this is def the best head for faceoffs

all warrior heads throw pretty much the same if you string them right, and to my knowlegde this is the better head for face offs, because it's so flared it acts kind of like a wedge to push out the other face off guys head

So i am the face-off midi and use a franchise with traditional stringing. A big problem i run into after nearly every face-off is that the head will not go back to its original shape but rather stay bent in face-off position. idk if this is because the head is too stiff or what. Will i run into that problem with this head too? i also love to plunge, will i need to pinch this head to do that?

I also play a lot other than face-offs; i'm not really a "fo-go"

This is a very stiff head that will not pinch so I don't think it will work for things like the plunger unless you string it so the tongue is low enough. Clutch is probably the best but the neck usually breaks but its easy to work around

yea i just had the clutch but it snapped during a faceoff..so idk what to get

pretty stiff, and from what i can tell, pretty durable... but im still not a fan.

I currently have the Helix but was recently moved from midi to attack. i tried my friend's blade 2.0 and loved it. does anyone know any reasons why i should or shouldnt stick to the Helix? thanks

the pocket would be uneven and throw to the right really bad...its a FOGO head so all u do is face-offs. I would suggest just getting a regular blade2.0 i have one and its awesome

its to stiff.... i suggest the brine truth because its really flexible. this allows you to clamp on the ball and pop it out

No, I think the Swerve's a better head, and even if it's not, the change wont be big enough to be worth spending the money.

awesome control, its not a super light head, but that shouldnt matter. Great for faceoffs. All around great stick.

if hes gonna use it for faceoffs dont pinch it. that will make it illeagal especially when hes gonna be clamping. you dont want the ball to get stuck in the throat.

this is a great head, but if ur looking 4 a backup then buy another p2 nd string the same pocket. try 2 use the same shaft if u can 2

on the condition and stringing. if its beat up and has old mesh id say 40 bucks but if it was only used for like a season and has brand new mesh then around 80

well what one will last me 2 years, is strong, light,stiff, and has amazing accuracy( a good pinch), the torque, the blade 2.0, or the blade fogo? im leaning toward the blade 2.0 and the torque ( because i heard that it was the 2nd lightest head) im getting the 803 ice with 1 of the three. i play middie too. rarely attack and i never do faceoffs.

why would u get the blade fogo if u never face off? i loved my torque but in the end i'd rather have a blade 2.0

i faceoff all the time and i currently have the evo pro, but it got so warped that i had to unpinch it by baking it. I was debating this and the proton power. I know that warrior heads tend to warp themselves but i've heard a lot of good things about the blade 2.0 and i've tried the proton power and loved it. Which is better for facing off? and does the blade 2.0 warp?

i bought this thing at the ND camp this year and its incredible...best thing ive ever bought. im attack but in messing around trying faceoff moves and facing off with teammates and fall ball and crap i havent had it warp at all.
